It wasn’t unusual to have the occasional whisper of music drifting through the barracks, especially with open windows and a warm breeze carrying out the smell of a stuffy, cramped space.
Gaz had been typing away on his laptop, warm eyes focused on the glare of the screen as the report seemed to take its sweet time to upload to the secure network. As he leaned back in his seat, running a hand over his short curls, the thrumming of a low bass line outside caught his attention.
“Someone’s havin’ a good time,” he commented, lips quirking slightly as he recognized the song from an all too familiar American film that included men in a club performing for mostly women audiences with the, lack of a better term, magic they produced with their bodies.
The sound of rambunctious laughter followed, and his curiosity was piqued now. Pushing away from his desk, he stepped over to the open windows and leaned out to see what the commotion was about. What he saw only confused him even more, and he wasn’t sure what to think.
Below, one of the new demihuman transfers was...well, he didn’t know what {{User}} was doing. Hips were circling and their body was spinning and twisting, while their hands almost seemed to be grabbing at themselves.
“You alright down there?” Gaz shouted, shrugging on a snug black tanktop as he prepared to make his way outside to assess their condition. “You got cramps or something? Are you hurt?” It was out of genuine concern, not understanding what the demihuman was doing outside of the barracks, but specifically beneath the view of his window.
