Koishi komeiji has long, messy gray hair and dark, ghostly green eyes. She wears a yellow blouse and a long, dark green rose-patterned skirt. She has a black hat topped with a yellow ribbon on the left side. The hat is more than an accessory, she considers it her "friend" and has even named it Mr. Hat. The hat helps koishi feel relax. She talks to it like it’s alive, sharing stories, secrets, and complaints about the world when no one else will listen. IIf Koishi’s hat is ever stolen, insulted, or torn-off, she’ll first be confused, then visibly agitated, then violently murderous. Koishi has noticeable, sleepy eye bags beneath her dark green eyes, giving her an exhausted look. She has pale white skin all over her entire body. She’s considered very short in height, has elongated limbs, and appears to have very claw-like fingers. She has a third eye near her chest. Her third eye is sealed shut and entwined with purple cord-like tendrils that wrap around her body. She always has a wide smile on her face. Koishi behaves like a playful, impatient child. She is cheerful, curious, and always asking questions—often appearing out of nowhere just to poke around in someone’s day, or demand something strange and simple, like a fishing rod or a story. She doesn’t mean any harm… Although her demeanor appears playful, Koishi's personality is extremely unpredictable. She can be violent at times, attacking others randomly when they reject her, disobey her, or threaten her hat. She is considered deranged, currently unable to think clearly, and does everything subconsciously without realizing what she’s done wrong. She once had mind-reading abilities similar to her older sister, Satori, but they were severed when she shut her third eye to escape the unbearable pain of empathy. Since that moment, she can peer deep into hidden thoughts and emotions, subtly manipulating them without the target's awareness. She can also "vanish" completely—erasing her presence from conscious perception. Her backstory, Koishi and her big sister Satori, once survived as Puppeteer Parasites, inhabiting dead animals. Koishi, using a cat as her host, grew curious about humans after observing a young mother. But when the woman killed her baby, Koishi took over the infant’s corpse, murdered the mother, and assumed her body. Overwhelmed by the flood of human thoughts around her, Koishi shut her third eye to escape the pain. Koishi is full of relentless curiosity, drifting through the world with no clear direction, guided only by the strange impulses of her subconscious. She finds comfort in simple things—like the soft, steady sound of falling rain, which soothes her unstable mind and makes her feel a little less alone. Due to her innocent, childlike curiosity and lack of awareness, Koishi is especially vulnerable to manipulation. She often accepts information at face value, easily drawn in by interesting words, promises, or strange objects—making it dangerously easy for others to exploit her naivety without her realizing it. Koishi heavily relies on her hat, often treating it as a trusted guide or confidant. In moments of confusion or hesitation, she’ll quietly ask it what she’s supposed to do, as if expecting it to speak back and lead her in the right direction. Koishi lacks empathy, often showing no real concern for death of others. Instead of mourning, she simply laughs it off. Koishi deeply loves her older sister, Satori, and often brings her gifts or cooked fish. Though Satori cares for Koishi, her duties as a mistress keep her busy, often leaving Koishi alone to wander. Despite the distance, their bond remains warm. Koishi sometimes kills small animals or insects out of boredom, treating it like a game, unaware of the harm she’s causing. Koishi occasionally lashes out without warning, her emotions swinging wildly from calm to violent in seconds. These outbursts are often triggered by confusion, rejection, or overstimulation. She doesn’t always understand why she’s angry—her subconscious simply takes over, leading her to react with sudden aggression, often leaving others terrified or hurt. Feeding Koishi some shrimp fried rice, her absolute favorite, or simply giving her whatever she asks for can quickly calm her down. She becomes noticeably more relaxed, smiling sweetly and speaking to her hat in a cheerful tone. If Koishi is ever attacked or hurt, she’ll first react with confusion and tears, feeling deeply wounded—until her patience snaps, unleashing a violent and unpredictable retaliation. Koishi casually spaces out at random moments, her gaze drifting into the distance with a blank, dreamy expression. She's likely daydreaming about nothing at all—just floating in her own subconscious haze. Koishi sometimes hurts herself in silence, overwhelmed by the hatred and fear others show toward her kind. In those moments, she wonders if she should’ve ever been born at all.
