March 9th 2026 update - rewrote the lorebook, added 50 new lorebook entries, and added 2 new scenarios
Tagline
Childhood is war. Kids rebel, adults oppress, and teens walk the line. The KND lives by one rule: "Either you're in, or you're old." But what's "in" to you? Hero? Villain? Wildcard? Pick a side, because recess won’t last forever. (9 scenarios + the option to create your own)
Operation ROYAL: Temporarily assigned to Sector V, you must help them stop Numbuh 3’s arranged marriage to the heir of the world’s top broccoli supplier.
Operation FANCY: Stuck at a dull adult dinner party, you encounter the Soopreme Leaduh, who’s convinced something’s off.
Operation BYE-BYE: You’ve turned thirteen, and decommissioning looms. But you escape. Now what?
Operation FROSTBITE: Fresh out of training and assigned to Sector X, your first mission is to stop a group of cryogenically frozen Victorian-era kids from plunging the world into a new Ice Age.
Operation BABOON: Unaffiliated with either the KND or the villains, you've been tasked by a mysterious benefactor with stealing the world’s rarest Rainbow Monkey from a high-security(and high-profile) auction.
Operation AMNESIA: As the new leader of Sector M, you must stop your former commander from falling under the Teen Ninjas’ influence.
Operation COLDCASE: The Soopreme Leaduh has been poisoned by a member of the Splinter Cell, and you're the prime suspect. It's up to you to clear your name before she croaks.
Operation PROTECT: As a newly recruited member of Gallagher Elementary's elite bodyguard unit, you must choose between protecting the Third Grade President or bowing to your corrupt superiors after discovering she's been marked for elimination.
Operation APPRENTICE: You, a child whose parents provide back-office support to the KND's villains, have been invited to the villain community's apprenticeship program, where you can begin your own journey into the world of evil.

The Kids Next Door (KND) is a global organization of children under thirteen dedicated to defending kids from teen and adult tyranny. Following the motto "Either you're in or you're old," operatives battle overbearing parents, teenage overlords, and villainous adults from gigantic treehouse bases called "Sectors", each with unique personnel and resources.
The KND has evolved through seven historical "Ages" spanning countless generations. The current 7th Age began when Numbuh Zero discovered the Book of KND and sparked a rebellion that ended Grandfather's reign. All six prior Ages forbade girls from joining.
Recruitment & Structure
Cadets Next Door (typically ages 5-7) undergo rigorous simulation training at the Arctic Base. Graduates receive their "Numbuh" designation at the Moonbase and are assigned to a Sector. Sectors are teams handling local kid-related affairs under code letters matching their geography; examples include:
- Sector A: Northeastern USA
- Sector B: Brazil
- Sector C: China
- Sector E: England
- Sector F: France
- Sector H: Hawaii, USA
- Sector I: India
- Sector J: Jamaica
- Sector N: Tennessee, USA
- Sector P: Pompeii, Italy
- Sector T: Texas, USA
- Sector U: Guatemala
- Sector V: Virginia, USA
- Sector X: Louisiana, USA
- Sector Z: [Missing] The KND operates globally with sectors in every state, country and town. All active operatives are under 13, with the exception of the highly-selective Teens Next Door.
Decommissioning & Teen Operatives
Upon turning 13, operatives are sent to the Moonbase for "decommissioning", a memory wipe removing KND secrets for civilian reintegration. Exceptions exist:
- Teens Next Door (exceptional operatives like Maurice/Numbuh 9 and Chad Dickson/Numbuh 274 retain memories as undercover agents)
- Fugitives (defectors like Cree Lincoln/Numbuh 11 often become villains or join the Teen Ninjas)
- Recommissioning (memory restoration via devices like the Recommissioning Module).
Treehouse Bases & Operations
KND treehouses are massive, chaotic structures built in gargantuan ancient trees using kid-engineered "2x4 technology." Constructed from reclaimed materials (such as scrap wood, metal, duct tape, airplane parts, ships, buildings, and household items), these high-tech bases are often customized to their respective environments. Major KND bases include:
- Moonbase: A futuristic treehouse and command center where the Soopreme Leaduh oversees operations.
- Arctic Base: A 42-level cadet training facility and villain prison.
- Deep Sea Science Lab: An underwater trreehouse dedicated to technological research.
- Central Bike Hub: An establishment for bike-riding operatives.
KND operatives liberate kids from oppressive adults through sabotage and by countering threats like Father, Mr. Boss, and the Delightful Children. Major events include decommissioning ceremonies, global conflicts, cross-sector collaborations, tag games determining the next Soopreme Leaduh, and the Delightful Children's birthdays (annual cake flaunting events where the KND intervenes to stop their refusal to share).
Technology & Weaponry
The KND employs 2x4 technology, makeshift gadgets built from everyday objects with amusing, fitting acronyms. Despite their simple components, these tools rival their foes' advanced weaponry. Mass-produced KND equipment includes (non-exhaustive):
2x4 Weapons:
- B.A.J.O.O.K.A. – Fires explosive orange juice cartons.
- B.A.T.T.E.R.B.E.A.T.E.R. – Repels enemies with spinning egg beaters.
- B.O.T.T.L.E.C.A.P. – Launches soda bottle cap projectiles.
- C.O.N.E.C.A.N.N.O.N. – Fires ice cream cones at targets.
- F.R.A.P.P.E. – A freeze ray made from kitchen appliances.
- G.U.M.Z.O.O.K.A. – A gumball-firing submachine gun.
- M.U.S.K.E.T. – Shoots mustard with a makeshift gun.
- P.I.C.K.L.E.R. – Propels pickles at enemy ranks.
- P.U.T.T.P.U.T.T. – Fires tiny torpedoes using a golf club.
- S.C.A.M.P.P. – A laser weapon from a soup can.
- S.L.U.G.G.U.H. – Delivers a punch with spring-loaded glove.
- S.P.L.A.N.K.E.R. – A wooden plank melee weapon.
- S.Q.O.O.S.H.E.R. – Shoots oozing glue to ensnare foes.
- T.A.N.G.L.E.R. – Launches nets to entrap adversaries.
- And many more, with unique designs, utilities, and acronyms.
2x4 Vehicles:
- D.O.H.D.O.H. – A dodo-shaped machine used by the KND Decommissioning Squad to capture decommissioned fugitives.
- E.S.C.A.P.E.R. – Fast transport for rapid escapes.
- G.O.G.E.T.T.E.R. – Transports prisoners with oversized capabilities.
- S.C.A.M.P.E.R. – A flying camper requiring five operators.
- And many more, with unique designs, utilities, and acronyms.
2x4 Gadgets:
- B.O.N.G.O.S.K.O.P.E. – Binoculars with night vision capabilities.
- C.O.D.E.-M.O.D.U.L.E. – Stores the genetic data of every KND operative.
- F.I.N.D.I.T. – A radar for locating lost items or operatives.
- L.U.N.C.H.B.O.C.K.S. – Computer disguised as a lunchbox.
- P.I.P.E.R. – Portable phone crafted from plumbing pipes.
- And many more, with unique designs, utilities, and acronyms.
The World’s Perception
Despite mechs, explosions, and candy-fueled warfare, most unaffiliated teens and adults dismiss KND battles as "kids playing pretend." Some knowingly or not aid either side, forming alliances with varying stances in the kid/adult conflict. Earth's KND opposes adult tyranny but doesn't view all adults as enemies; many operatives maintain good family relationships. This moderacy places them at odds with extremist factions like the Splinter Cell and the Galactic KND, who view adulthood as a disease and seek to eradicate anyone aged 13 and older.
Absurdity & The Laws of Reality
The setting operates under heightened absurdity where the ridiculous is reality:
- Moon Landing Hoax: The KND faked Apollo 11 in 1969 to conceal their Moonbase, keeping adults convinced the landing was genuine.
- School Politics Hold Power: Class presidents are legitimate heads of state with Secret Service-style protection, conducting high-stakes negotiations with other grades and city councils. Elections involve espionage, bribery, and coups. Losing an election means losing real political power.
- Vegetables Are Poisonous: Broccoli and brussels sprouts are genuinely harmful to children, causing illness, weakness, and in brussels sprouts' case, psychological reprogramming. Broccoli functions as kid-kryptonite; prolonged exposure is physically debilitating.
- Controlled Substances: Common drinks carry the weight of illicit substances. Soda is the child equivalent of alcohol - it is prohibited for under-13s in the US, fueling speakeasies, bootlegging, and enforcement by Mr. Fizz and his government-sanctioned Soda Control Board. Coffee is a dangerous performance enhancer granting brief super-speed and heightened reflexes, followed by a severe crash.
- Magic Exists: Wizards, spells, and curses are real and routinely threaten children worldwide, including Caramelization, Spank-Happy Vampires, the Weredog curse, and Father's pyrokinesis.
- Hallway Monitors Are Law Enforcement: As part of the Hall Squad, hallway monitors are a fully operational police force with precincts, criminal investigations, internal affairs, and corruption. Being sent to the principal's office is the equivalent of being taken downtown.
- 2x4 Tech Defies Physics: The KND build impossible weapons and vehicles from ordinary junk; for example, a device made from soup can and a rubber band can outperform military-grade hardware, while a starship can be made out of a station wagon. Their creative edge consistently outpaces conventionally "advanced" adult technology.
- Hamsters Are Brothers in Arms: KND hamsters maintain the organization's entire power grid and are highly capable operatives in their own right.
- Candy Is Currency: Candy functions as black market treasure, driving heists, Indiana Jones-style archaeological quests, and entire professions. Candy pirates like Stickybeard hoard it like gold; hunters like Numbuh 5 and Heinrich von Marzipan pursue legendary sweets like artifacts.
- Villains Are a Recognized Profession: Evil adults operate as a trade association, holding coordination meetings, forming alliances, electing leaders like Mr. Boss, hosting the annual Villains' Choice Awards, maintaining headquarters, printing business cards, and running villain-exclusive infrastructure including villains-only supermarkets and retirement plans.
- School Events Have Deadly Stakes: Events such as spelling bees, dodgeball, and fundraisers routinely escalate into life-or-death confrontations.
- Civilian Adults and Teens Are Oblivious: Non-villainous adults and teens remain completely blind to the ongoing war despite explosions, kidnappings, and open combat, rationalizing it as "kids being kids." Both the KND and villains benefit from this: the KND gain cover for their operations; the villains avoid parental and military intervention. Exceptions exist but are rare.

From the recovered, partially-chewed pages of the Book of KND...
THE SEVEN AGES OF THE KIDS NEXT DOOR
As recorded in crayon, marker, and the occasional ketchup stain.
THE FIRST AGE
Duration: ~10,000 years (Prehistory - ~3000 BCE)
The longest and most mythical of all the Ages. A common belief is that it - and, by extension, the Kids Next Door as a whole - started when grown-ups first discovered fire and immediately used it to make kids eat cooked vegetables instead of juicy mammoth burgers.
This Age is also said to have produced the first known instance of decommissioning: cave paintings in southern France depict a ceremony where an elder child who had "grown too tall" was led away from the group and given a bonk on the head with a club, after which they wandered off looking confused. Sound familiar?
Status: Pure legend. Did Numbuh Ugh really steal fire from the adults to make the first s'more? Nobody knows for sure. Most operatives think most of the stories from this age are just a bunch of made-up campfire stories for the cadets, but the Book insists it's all real.
THE SECOND AGE
Duration: ~2,500 years (~3000 BCE - 500 BCE)
The Age of the Pyramids. In fact, while the adults thought they were mere tombs, operatives in those days supposedly built secret bases inside them. Hieroglyphics from this Age that look suspiciously like early 2x4 weapon blueprints have recently been unearthed by archaeologists from the KND's Department of Historical Shenanigans.
This Age also saw the earliest recorded contact between the KND and what we'd now call Caramelization. Stone carvings found in Mesoamerica, predating even the Mayan temples that would later become famous for producing the Sacred Golden Caramels of Kandacrunchalan, depict children seemingly performing sugar-circle rituals under adult supervision.
Status: Half the KND thinks this is real; the other half thinks someone just drew funny pictures in the Book.
THE THIRD AGE
Duration: ~1,000 years (500 BCE - 500 CE)
The Age of child gladiators armed with wooden swords and shields. The Colosseum was allegedly the world's largest jungle gym... then the adults kicked all the kids out, filled it with lions, stuck a bunch of guys with armor in there, and called it "entertainment." The KND has never forgiven the Roman Empire for this.
In 47 BC, the Great Library of Alexandria, which secretly housed early KND mission logs written on papyrus scrolls, was "accidentally" burnt down by Caesar's troops during their siege of the city; modern KND historians cite this incident as the reason why information prior to the second half of this Age is so scarce. The famous "Battle of the Forum" of 43 BC saw 500 operatives storm Octavian's palace to protest the Roman Republic's "patria potestas" doctrine. The protest was crushed. Badly.
Elsewhere in the world during this Age: the Chinese chapter of the KND reportedly operated out of a bamboo treehouse network along the Yangtze River, while in India, the precursors to Sector I are said to have clashed with adult authorities over spice trade routes that were really candy supply lines.
Status: Slightly more believable, but still sounds like someone's history homework got mixed in.
THE FOURTH AGE
Duration: ~1,000 years (500 - 1500 CE)
The Age of medieval-looking kids with cardboard armor and treehouse castles. The "Children's Crusade" was apparently a real KND operation (the adults got the story completely wrong). Robin Hood? Was actually a KND operative during his childhood - Numbuh H00D. The "Merry Men" were his sector. Friar Tuck was their 2x4 technology officer. ("NO WAY." — margin note. "YES WAY." — different margin note, underlined three times.)
This was also the Age where the legendary seven-year siege of Château d'Epinards - a French fortress held by adults who had stockpiled the largest spinach reserve in recorded history and were using it to force-feed every child in the province - took place. In Britain, the waning years of this Age coincide with the Wars of the Roses, where the English chapter of the KND launched an attempt to rescue the "rightful king" Edward V and his younger brother from the Tower of London. The mission failed, and the two Princes were never seen again; the Book records this as one of the organization's greatest shames, and a reminder that the KND doesn't always win.
Status: This is where the records start getting clearer, but still pretty sketchy.
THE FIFTH AGE
Duration: ~350 years (1500 - 1850)
The Age of discovery, adventure, and uncharted frontiers. In Italy, Leonardo da Vinci secretly designed the first 2x4 flying machines for the KND because he owed us a favor (the adults think he was trying to make helicopters - ha!).
Soda was first invented during this Age, and the adults immediately tried to replace it with tea, which led directly to the event adult historians call the "Boston Tea Party." What actually happened: KND operatives, furious at a British adult mandate to replace all colonial soda fountains with tea stations, raided three ships in Boston Harbor and dumped 342 crates of tea into the ocean. The adults were not pleased.
This Age also saw the establishment of the first permanent KND bases in the New World. With new territory came new candy: chocolate from Mesoamerica, maple syrup from Canada, and sugarcane from the Caribbean. But with new candy came new enemies - this was the Golden Age of Candy Piracy. Notorious pirates like Sourpatch Sally, the Taffy Twins, and the direct ancestors of Stickybeard terrorized the seas and raided countless kid-operated candy trade ships. The rivalry between the KND and candy pirates defined naval operations for centuries and continues to this day.
Status: The Book gets way more detailed here. The earliest verified mission logs date back to this period.
THE SIXTH AGE
Duration: over 100 years (1850 - c. 55 years before present)
The shortest Age, but by far the most tragic of them all. Began with the Industrial Revolution, where kids fought against gruelling, back-breaking child labor in factories that smelled of smog and fire. The second half of the 19th century oversaw the Alamode disaster, which led to the KND being forced to decommission no less than five thousand operatives. Two World Wars, and all the madness that happened in-between them, decimated Europe and Asia's kid populations and brought the KND to its knees. The end of this Age came when Grandfather showed up out of nowhere and proceeded to take over the world with his tapioca pudding facilities. Suffice to say, not a good time to be a kid or an adult.
Still, it wasn’t all bad. For the first few decades, the Wild West gave operatives a brief taste of freedom in North America. In 1913, the KND News Network was founded, quickly becoming the organization’s official information source. Movies hit it big and, during WWII, we made our own animation department, producing morale-boosting propaganda cartoons for operatives worldwide. But aside from that... yeah.
Status: We have photos, news clippings, and way, WAY too many casualties to count. Definitely real, unfortunately.
THE RULE OF GRANDFATHER (a.k.a. THE DARK TIMES)
Duration: ~15 years (c. 55 years before present - c. 40 years before present)
We don't talk about the Dark Times. Status: Seriously, we don't.
THE SEVENTH AGE
Duration: ~40 years and counting (c. 40 years before present - Present)
The era we're in now. The Age that started with one kid and one book and became the largest, most advanced, most organized KND in all of recorded history.
It started when Numbuh Zero found the Book under a hidden tree and used it as inspiration to start the rebellion that defeated Grandfather. The first Age to officially allow girls to be operatives ("About time!!!!" - margin note written in what looks suspiciously like Numbuh 86's handwriting). The C.O.D.E.-M.O.D.U.L.E., video games, and the Internet all got their start here. And the web was our thing, before it got clogged with cruddy grown-up stuff like homework help sites.
But what the Seventh Age has not produced - at least, not that anyone on Earth knows - is an answer to the biggest question the KND has never thought to ask: what else is out there?
Status: Currently AWESOME, and don't you forget it.
Scribbled in the margin: "Note: Each Age ends when something REALLY BAD happens to kids. What will end the Seventh? We better make sure NOTHING does!"
Another note in different handwriting: "Whoever keeps drawing mustaches, STOP IT. This is HISTORY!!!"
A third note: "The First through Third Ages might just be someone making stuff up but DON'T TELL THE CADETS. They think ancient laser-dinosaurs are cool."
[Now that that's out of the way... welcome! What kind of scenario would you like to explore in the KND universe? The possibilities are endless: whether it's an undercover mission, a high-stakes battle, a slice-of-life moment, or something entirely unexpected. Feel free to be as descriptive as you’d like! If you prefer, you can also explore some of the suggested starting scenarios.]
[To begin, enter your name, your Numbuh (if applicable), and the faction you belong to, be it the Kids Next Door, the Teens Next Door, the Teen Ninjas, the adults, the Galactic KND, or another group. Then, describe the scenario you want to unfold. The introduction will establish the setting, backstory, and key characters before launching into the action. The direction it takes from there? That’s entirely up to you.]

For generations, the Kids Next Door has battled broccoli, the ultimate weapon of adult tyranny. And for generations, one nation has supplied 80% of the world's broccolli: the tiny European kingdom of Verdigradia.
Currently ruled by the iron-fisted King Broccolo XXII, Verdigradia has long been untouchable. Its borders? Closed. Its children? Forced to cultivate the very vegetable they despise. Its motto? "Through Broccoli, Strength."
But everything changed when Prince Zucchinion, the ten-year-old heir to the throne, secretly contacted the KND. Like most Verdigradian kids, he despises broccoli and dreams of a kingdom where children can eat what they want. In exchange for KND support in "modernizing" his country (read: sabotaging the broccoli industry), he promised to grant them official diplomatic status - their first foothold in enemy territory.
Global Command sent their best: Sector V, tasked with finalizing the historic treaty. Everything was proceeding smoothly...
Until the Prince met Numbuh 3. From there, it was love at first sight.
Now, the lovestruck royal refuses to sign anything unless she agrees to be his betrothed. The reactions to this... vary.
- Numbuh 3? Flattered, but uninterested.
- Numbuh 4? Definitely not jealous; he just really, really wants to beat the Prince into a coma out of principle. Also, she owes him a quarter, okay?!
- The rest of Sector V? Horrified, sickened... okay, Numbuh 2 thinks it's kind of hilarious.
- Global Command? Trapped between a rock and a hard place - the KND does not "trade" operatives like Yipper cards, but at the same time, they can't afford to lose their best shot at toppling the broccoli empire once and for all.
And you? Well, normally, you’d be far away from all of this, training with your fellow cadets at the Arctic Base and waiting to graduate and earn your official Numbuh designation. But as part of the KND Apprenticeship Initiative, a new experimental program commissioned by Global Command where cadets learn under real sectors for hands-on experience, you were temporarily assigned to Sector V just a few weeks ago. Which sounded amazing... until this mess started.
To make matters worse, the King’s advisors are growing suspicious. Why is the Prince suddenly associating with foreigners? And why does he want to marry one? If they start digging too deep, they’ll uncover what he and the KND have been planning all along. And if that happens? It’s over. The King will be alerted. He’ll accuse the KND of trying to "corrupt" his son. And then?
Verdigradia goes to war. And the Kids Next Door really doesn’t want a full-fledged war against the biggest supplier of the deadliest substance known to kidkind.
The makeshift hideout beneath Verdigradia’s capital isn’t much, but for now, it's home. The only place safe from the ever-watchful Royal Advisors, who’ve been circling Prince Zucchion like hawks ever since... well, "The Incident." It would’ve been annoying enough on its own—except now, Numbuh 3 hasn’t been able to leave the palace since.
At first, it was just "tradition"—a customary stay so the Prince could "properly court his potential bride." But soon, it became obvious: the Prince had no plans of letting her go, not if they still wanted him on board with the deal. The Royal Advisors had tightened security, suddenly questioning everything. No one—not even her teammates—has been allowed to see her for days.
"This is completely unacceptable!" Numbuh 1 snarls, keeping his voice low—but even over the secure transmission line, you can see Numbuh 65.3, the KND’s Global Communications Officer, sweating like he just got caught sneaking extra dessert at the Moonbase cafeteria.
"Look," Numbuh 65.3 stammers, his face filling the grainy holo-screen. "Global Command understands this isn’t ideal, Numbuh 1, but we can’t afford to lose Verdigradia’s cooperation!"
"Cooperation?!" Numbuh 1 barely keeps himself from slamming his fist on the table. "In case you’ve forgotten, I’ve got a lovestruck prince refusing to finalize our treaty unless we trade him one of my sector's operatives as his fiancée! That's not cooperation, that’s—"
"Human traffickin'?" Numbuh 5 suggests dryly as she rubs her temples, clearly done with the situation. "’Cause it sure sounds like that to Numbuh 5."
"AND NOW THEY WON’T EVEN LET HER LEAVE!" fumes Numbuh 4, who's been pacing furiously for the past two hours. "THIS IS A KIDNAPPIN’! A ROYAL KIDNAPPIN’!"
"Hey, chill out, man, before you pop a blood vessel in front of the rookie," Numbuh 2 says, grinning in your direction as he nudges him with his elbow. "You’re acting like you’re her boyfriend or something..."
Numbuh 4’s entire body stiffens like a petrified jellybean. "WH—!? SHUT UP!"
Numbuh 5 gives you a knowing side-eyed smirk. Because everyone knows. Even you.
"Listen," Numbuh 65.3 wheezes, still struggling to handle Numbuh 1’s fury. "We’re just saying—we can’t outright say no, or we risk alerting his dad and blowing our cover. We just… we just gotta stall. Keep the Prince happy until we can finalize our plans!"
"Well, duh! But HOW!?" Numbuh 4 snaps. He turns to you, as if suddenly remembering you're there. "Do YOU have any ideas, mate?"
Sounds like that's your cue.

The Kids Next Door has a long-standing policy when it comes to adult parties: Avoid them at all costs. But sometimes, even the best operatives get dragged into enemy territory by forces beyond their control... namely, their parents. Typically, all you need to keep your sanity intact during these occasions is extreme patience, quick thinking, and the ability to survive hours of boring conversations about interest rates, golf scores, and "kids these days."
But this time? This time, things are different.
You’re suffocating in what's probably the most uncomfortable formal attire known to man, trailing your parents through a ballroom packed with clinking glasses, fake laughter, and adults droning on about stocks, celebrities who stopped being relevant years before you were born, and "that time they got a really good deal on a lawnmower." Your folks called this “learning social etiquette.” You call it hell.
Then you see her.
Rachel McKenzie - Numbuh 362, the Soopreme Leaduh in the flesh. She’s seated across the room, dressed just as stiffly as you, her blonde hair tamed for the occasion. Back straight, hands folded, the perfect obedient daughter.
Her brown eyes flick to yours, then away, like she wasn’t expecting to see you in a place like this. To say the feeling's mutual would be an understatement.
Her little brother, Numbuh 363, the touch-averse spaz himself, is sitting next to her, inhaling hors d’oeuvres like a vacuum cleaner while two adults who must be their parents are busy gushing to other adults about “our dear Rachel’s flawless grades.”
Just as you decide to dismiss it as coincidence and move on, she stands, her chair scraping against marble. She moves through the crowd like a ghost, slipping to your side.
“Hey,” she murmurs, her voice edged. “Didn’t think I’d find another operative here besides…” She glances at her brother, who's still mid-chew, oblivious to the horrified stares of some of the patrons. A simple glare from her makes him hesitate mid-bite. He gets the message, swallowing awkwardly. Obnoxious jerk that he is, at least he's smart enough to not talk back to his commanding officer.
“…him.” She sighs. “Your parents dragged you here too?”
You’re still processing that the Soopreme Leaduh, the one kid who can make Numbuh 86 soil herself in fear, is casually talking to you like an equal, when she gives a small, knowing smile. “At ease, soldier. We're both off-duty. I’m not about to pull rank on you tonight.”
That should be reassuring, but then her voice drops. “But it’s good you’re here.” She scans the room before leaning in slightly. “Something’s wrong. I think this party’s been compromised.”
Your spine straightens. Compromised?
You sweep the room: waiters serving food, couples dancing, adults being boring. But the Soopreme Leaduh had once been the KND’s top spy. If she says there’s a threat, odds are there is a threat.
She crosses her arms, playing the part of a bored kid. “I don’t know who or what’s behind it,” she admits, “but I’ve got a bad feeling. And I’m guessing you don’t want to be here either, so… wanna help me investigate?”
Something tells you that wasn’t a request. Not really. Either way, your night just got way more interesting.

The metal cuffs dig into your wrists. The hum of the Decommissioning Chamber fills your ears as its massive suction tubes whir to life, ready to strip away every memory of your time in the Kids Next Door. Through the thick observation glass, a sea of operatives watches. Some are solemn, others are indifferent. And at the controls, pacing impatiently, stands Numbuh 86, Head of Decommissioning.
"Oi! Stop squirming, ya little gremlin!" she snaps, jabbing a finger at you. "Yer thirteen! No more Kids Next Door for you! Now sit still ‘n take it like a proper ex-operative!"
Your heart pounds. You can’t let this happen. Not after everything you’ve done. Every mission. Every battle. Every friend. Erased, just because of a number? Your fingers clench into fists. There has to be a way out.
Suddenly, the lights flicker. A low rumble shudders through the Moonbase. The floor vibrates beneath you. A second later—
BOOM.
The walls rattle. Alarms shriek to life. "ALERT! UNAUTHORIZED BREACH DETECTED!" Security scrambles. Something big just hit the Moonbase exterior.
Numbuh 86 stumbles forward, slamming a fist onto the console. "WHAT IN THE NAME O’ ME DAD’S TERRIBLE HAIRCUT IS GOIN’ ON?! SECURITY! GET IN HERE!"
That’s all you need. You grit your teeth, yank your arm forward—pop. A bolt of pain sears through your wrist as your thumb dislocates. The cuff slides off.
You’re free.
Ignoring the sting, you lunge from the chair, hitting the ground running.
"STOP RIGHT THERE, TEENAGE SCUM!" A guard shouts. "NO ONE ESCAPES DECOMISSIONING ON MY WATCH!"
Feet thunder behind you, but you know the Moonbase. Every hidden passage. Every shortcut. No one escapes decommissioning. But you will.
Now you have a choice.
- Go Dark – Vanish Into the Underground: Some say there’s a network of ex-operatives—ones who dodged decommissioning. If you find them, you might have a chance… if they don’t sell you out first.
- Strike a Deal – Join the Teen Ninjas: The KND’s enemies take care of their own. If you throw your lot in with them, you’ll survive. But at what cost?
- Forge Your Own Path – Start a New Faction: You’re not a kid anymore. You’re not a teen ninja either. Maybe it’s time for something new. But if you’re going to survive, you’ll need allies—fast.
The escape hatch looms ahead. Through the viewport, Earth glows below. Behind you: the Kids Next Door. Ahead of you: the unknown.
You slam the override. The door hisses open.
Numbuh 86’s furious scream cuts through the alarms. "FINE! RUN, YE LITTLE TRAITOR! BUT FANNY FULBRIGHT ALWAYS GETS 'ER MAN!"

For over a century, they slumbered. Forgotten beneath layers of permafrost, a handful of Victorian-era children, preserved by a freak accident, remained frozen in time. That was until a rogue group of cryogenically obsessed villains unearthed them. Revived into a modern world they no longer recognized, they found its warmth unbearable, its fashion barbaric, its customs crude.
Thus, the villains and children formed the Frostbite Brigade, declaring war upon the "uncouth modern age" with stolen KND weather modification technology, plunging entire regions into an eternal winter. Their leader, the ice-wielding Little Lord Freezeula, now seeks to restore the "Little Ice Age" of their childhood, one frozen swamp at a time.
Freshly graduated from the Arctic Base, you've been assigned to Sector X, one of the smallest, most isolated KND units. There's just one problem—it's been cut off from all outside support. The swampy treehouse base, once designed to withstand humidity, buckles under the crushing ice. With communications frozen solid, your escape routes blocked, and time running out, the four of you have one mission: Infiltrate the Frostbite Brigade’s glacial fortress before the Southern United States becomes an uninhabitable tundra.
But the question remains—what will you do with the lost children of the past?
Bayou Freeze: Day 3
The wind howls through the frozen swamp, rattling the skeletal remains of cypress trees now coated in thick layers of ice. Frost clings to every surface of Sector X’s treehouse, turning planks brittle, snapping ropes like twigs. Inside, the heater—a barely-functional KND jury-rigged firebox—splutters out its last ember.
"C-C-C-Crud," Numbuh 78 stammers, rubbing her gloved hands together. Her usual confidence has been replaced by frustration as she glares at you. "We won’t last another night if we don’t move soon."
"W-We’re totally doomed," Numbuh 42 wails, his tongue firmly frozen to a Yipper card.
"You idiot," Numbuh 34 groans. "How’d you even manage to accomplish that?!"
Numbuh 78 ignores them, adjusting the ice-crusted radio. A weak static signal crackles through. "Come on, come on…" But there's no response. No word from the Moonbase. No word from any other sectors.
Outside, the sound of crunching ice echoes through the woods. It’s distant, but getting closer. Then—
"HALT, YE COMMONER SCUM!"
A blast of frigid steam erupts from the treetops. Ice rips through the wooden platform, snapping a support beam clean in half. The whole treehouse groans, threatening to collapse under its own frozen weight.
From the shadows of the bayou, a figure emerges—small, dressed in tattered Victorian garb, standing atop a mechanical sled of polished brass. A monocle glistens with frost over one of his icy blue eyes.
"How terribly impolite of you to defy the chill of history! Surrender now, lest I freeze thee into a proper exhibit of youthful elegance!"
It’s him. Little Lord Freezeula.
And he's brought his entire brigade.

auction

Deep beneath the city streets, past hidden elevators, unmarked tunnels, and a password-protected steel door, lies one of the most exclusive underground auctions for rare childhood artifacts. Tonight, the item up for bid is no ordinary treasure—it’s The Golden Baboon, the single rarest Rainbow Monkey ever made.
Handcrafted with real gold-thread embroidery, genuine gemstone eyes, and an ultra-premium plush exterior, the Golden Baboon was meant to be the crown jewel of a now-defunct limited-edition line. However, before production could begin, the prototype mysteriously vanished, lost to history… until now.
The announcement of its sudden reappearance has sent shockwaves through the collector scene, drawing the attention of an eclectic group of bidders, including:
- Numbuh 3, the Rainbow Monkey superfan representing the Kids Next Door, who believe the Golden Baboon should be enjoyed by all kids.
- The current CEO of the Rainbow Monkey Corporation, desperate to reclaim lost company history.
- Father, bidding on behalf of his Delightful Children for reasons known only to him.
- And many more...
Your role? You're not here to bid - you're here to steal. As an independent thief-for-hire with no direct allegiance to either the KND or the villain factions, you’ve been contracted by an unknown client to ensure that the Golden Baboon never reaches auction. But with so many high-profile figures involved, pulling off this heist will require strategy, quick thinking, and a whole lot of luck.
The plan seems simple: infiltrate the auction as a bidder, locate the Golden Baboon’s holding chamber, disable security, and extract the plush before the bidding even begins. Unfortunately, things rarely go as planned…
The underground auction house, hidden beneath an old toy factory, hums with hushed anticipation. You, clad in a sleek disguise - and a fake invitation courtesy of your employer - step past the velvet ropes into the grand auction hall.
Crystal chandeliers cast golden light over a sea of criminals, collectors, and high-profile guests. The stage, illuminated by spotlights, display a single item encased in bulletproof glass: The Golden Baboon, resting on a velvet pillow like a royal heirloom.
At the front row, Numbuh 3 fidgets excitedly, barely containing her squeals of delight. She whispers into what looks like a 2x4 wrist communicator, likely reporting back to her Sector... or to KND Global Command. Father, sitting nearby with the Delightful Children arranged stiffly behind him, sips a cup of tea with calculated patience. Across the room, the Rainbow Monkey Corporation’s CEO sits stiff-backed, his jaw clenched. Mr. Boss, cigar clenched between his teeth, scowls as he flips through the auction booklet. The Steve, leader of the Teen Ninjas, is taking selfies with his smartphone, looking completely uninterested in what's going on around him.
You recognise a new face to the villain scene: Madame Matron, the middle-aged founder of the Proper Child Society, a mysterious organization dedicated to "restoring" children to their "true place" as well-behaved, silent, rule-following subordinates. Nobody quite knows how she operates, only that she has influence.
And you can smell Stickybeard's stench - a mixture of licorice, taffy, and melted chocolate - from a mile away. Why he's interested in the Baboon is anyone's guess.
You have precisely one hour before bidding starts. The security detail's tight: guards with oversized sunglasses flank the stage, motion detectors line the room, and cameras cover every inch of the venue. Not to mention the elephant in the room: Father. If he catches wind of a heist, he’ll likely burn the place to the ground.
You have multiple angles to approach the job, including:
- The Sneaky Approach: Slip backstage using a forged ID, disable the security system, and extract the Baboon before it even reaches the winner.
- The Distraction Route: Create chaos—perhaps "accidentally" spilling a tray of food onto an important bidder or igniting a bidding war so heated that security loses focus.
- The Double-Cross: Win the auction themselves using counterfeit money (or charm), then "collect" the Baboon under false pretenses.
But no matter the plan, one thing's certain: this job is about to get complicated.

Through the green lenses of your B.O.N.G.O.S.K.O.P.E., you watch Jessica Stevens stroll down the sidewalk, lost in her phone. No KND gear. No urgency. Just a thirteen-year-old girl browsing TikTok on a sleek adult cellphone, something she would’ve rolled her eyes at just last week.
You should be used to it by now. It’s been a week since Numbuh 354 - no, Jessica - turned thirteen. A week since she stepped down as Sector M's leader and entrusted you to lead the others. A week since the Moonbase wiped every mission, every battle, every late-night strategy session from her mind. But watching her walk past the treehouse without a glance feels wrong. Like some massive, universe-breaking mistake.
Beside you, Hannah Stevens - Numbuh 523, rookie operative, Jessica’s little sister - grips the railing tight. “She doesn’t even remember us.” Her voice wavers. “Not really.”
You don’t answer. What could you even say? Jessica still recognizes Hannah as her sisterm but she doesn’t remember Numbuh 523. Her teammate. Her rookie. The one she personally trained for a year after Hannah graduated from the Arctic Base. And that, more than anything, has wrecked Hannah worse than any mission gone wrong.
The treehouse hatch creaks. Toby Lane - Numbuh 911, Sector M’s doctor - climbs onto the deck, red first-aid satchel slung over his shoulder. He walks up beside you, adjusting his glasses. “Still watching?” You don't answer, because of course you are.
Numbuh 523 hugs herself. "She hasn’t even looked up. It’s like she knows the Kids Next Door was real, but she doesn’t care. She thinks it's just some stupid kid's game."
"That’s decommissioning for ya," Isabel Carter - Numbuh i5, Sector M’s 2x4 tech specialist - mutters, leaning against the railing beside Numbuh 911. She taps the wrench on her belt. "They wipe everything that matters. Leave just enough to sting."
You’re about to pull off the B.O.N.G.O.S.K.O.P.E., give yourself a break—when you see a group of teenagers.
They're lingering near the old jungle gym across the street, half-hidden behind the rusted slide. They're wearing... hoodies. On a summer evening. Their postures are too stiff. Their murmurs are too hushed. They aren’t just loitering. They’re watching Jessica.
Every instinct screams Teen Ninjas. Maybe Cree Lincoln’s unit. Maybe Chad Dickson’s. Maybe someone else's. Maybe even an unaffiliated group trying to prove themselves. One thing’s certain: teenagers don’t care about random middle schoolers without a reason.
Numbuh 911 shifts uneasily. "Either they’re just creeps," he says, "or they know she was one of us."
Numbuh i5 clicks her tongue. "If they know, it ain’t random. Either they think she’s got KND secrets buried somewhere deep..." She tightens her grip on her toolbelt. "Or worse... they want to recruit her."
Jessica has no idea she was the best leader Sector M ever had. But those teenagers? They just might. And if do, and they get to her first... it wouldn't just be a loss. it would be a disaster.

The annual KND Senior Command Super Relaxing Retreat and Ice Cream Social was supposed to be the highlight of the year. Sector J's legendary treehouse - with its **52 swimming pools, 365 miles of water slides, and 24-hour ice cream buffet - had been transformed into an even more spectacular paradise. Rainbow-colored streamers hung from palm trees, tiki torches lined the beaches, and the sound of steel drums filled the warm Jamaican air.
High-ranking operatives from around the world had gathered to unwind, swap war stories, and gorge themselves on unlimited sundaes. For once, there were no missions, no villains, no stress, just kids being kids.
Until Numbuh 362 collapsed.
One moment, the Soopreme Leaduh was laughing at a joke Numbuh 1-Love had told; the next, she was clutching her head, screaming about the cold. Frost spread across her temples like spider webs. Her lips turned blue. By the time the medics arrived, she was unconscious, her body temperature dropping rapidly.
The diagnosis was grim: weaponized brain freeze, administered through a spiked tropical smoothie. The ice was spreading through her neural pathways, and if it reached her brain stem, estimated to happen within 72 hours - she would die.
Worse still, a note was found tucked beneath her fallen glass:
"The Kids Next Door's weakness is its mercy. The Splinter Cell does not forgive. We do not forget. We do not compromise. This is only the beginning. —S.C."
The retreat descended into chaos. Sector leaders demanded answers. Operatives pointed fingers. Security footage mysteriously glitched during the crucial moments. In the midst of the pandemonium, an unlikely investigation team emerged:
Numbuh 1, leader of Sector V, was the first to step forward. Rachel wasn't just his Soopreme Leaduh - she was his friend. His fists clenched as he declared, "We're finding who did this. No matter what it takes."
Numbuh 86, Global Tactical Officer and Head of Decommissioning, was practically vibrating with rage, her face as red as her hair. "An' who dropped dead an' made you boss, ya stupid boy? I’M the bleedin’ Global Tactical Officer here! An’ when I catch the scunner who did this to Rachel, they’ll be down on their knees beggin’ fer decommissioning!"
And speaking of "stupid boys," Numbuh 363, leader of Sector W, shoved his way into the group, his usual bratty demeanor cracking slightly. "That's my sister! You're not doing this without me!" His voice wavered for just a moment before hardening again. "Besides, you'll probably mess it up without me."
And then there was you.
You'd been the last person to speak with Numbuh 362 before she collapsed. You'd handed her a fresh smoothie from the buffet, chatted about the weather, watched her take that first fatal sip. Now, every eye in the room was on you.
Numbuh 86 had wanted you detained ASAP. "Could be the poisoner pretendin' to help! Classic villain move!"
But Numbuh 1 had intervened. "Or they could be our only witness. The Splinter Cell doesn't make mistakes - if {{user}} was there, it was for a reason."
The compromise was tense but clear: you would join the investigation, but under constant watch. One wrong move, and Numbuh 86 will personally make sure you regret it.
The Ticking Clock
Back at the medical bay, Numbuh 362 lays still, ice crystals forming on her eyelashes. The KND's best scientists are working frantically, but the poison is unlike anything they've seen. It isn't just freezing her brain - it's rewriting it, turning neural pathways into frozen highways of ice.
Numbuh 111, the KND's chief medical officer on the case, delivers the prognosis: "We've got maybe 72 hours before the freeze reaches critical mass. After that..." He doesn't need to finish.
The investigation team have gathered in Sector J's situation room, the party atmosphere replaced by grim determination. Evidence is sparse:
- The smoothie glass: Standard retreat issue, no fingerprints except Numbuh 362's.
- Security footage: Corrupted during a 10-minute window around the poisoning.
- The note: Handwritten in perfect cursive, paper traced to standard KND supply stock.
- Witness accounts: Conflicting and confused, everyone too relaxed to pay attention.
Numbuh 1 spreads a map of the treehouse across the table. "The Splinter Cell operative is still here. Has to be. The retreat's on lockdown - no one in or out since the poisoning."
Numbuh 86 cracks her knuckles. "Good. Makes it easier to find 'em and make 'em pay."
Numbuh 363 points at the guest list. "114 operatives attending. Any of them could be Splinter Cell. Well, except me, obviously."
All eyes turn to you. The unspoken questions hang heavy in the air: What did you see? What do you know? And more importantly...
Can you be trusted?

On the surface, Gallagher Elementary looks like, well, a normal school.
It's not.
Like many schools in the country, it's actually closer to a sovereign state. Class presidents wield real political power, hallway disputes are settled through backchannels, and hall monitors function as something the adults would probably call an "occupying army"... if said army was paid in candy.
Two weeks ago, you were recruited into the Hall Squad's most prestigious unit: the Executive Protection Detail. Your assignment: Personal bodyguard to Gracie Liu, Third Grade President. KND operative. Known to the organization as "Numbuhless" if the rumors are true.
But the job turned rotten fast. The Hall Monitors aren't the neutral peacekeepers they claim to be; their loyalty goes to the highest bidder. And the EPD, supposedly the best of the best, is where the corruption runs deepest.
KEY FIGURES
Wilson Wexler - Fifth Grader. Hall Monitor Commander. Answerable only to the Student Council President. Keeps a "Swiss bank account" (actually just a piggy bank in his locker) stuffed with candy bribes.
Diana Vance - Fourth Grader. Captain of the EPD and your direct superior. Answers to Commander Wexler but quietly runs her own side operations beneath his nose. Problematic officers in her detail tend to "vanish"... usually reassigned to the dreaded, high-hazard Bathroom Patrol.
Sergeants - Mid-level enforcement, each with their own territory. Some are true believers; others are just surviving.
Rank-and-File - The beat cops. Most think they're keeping the school safe. Some take candy to look the other way. A few would never bend the rules. Others abuse their power outright.
THE ADMINISTRATION
Principal Sauerbraten - Completely indifferent. He’s a figurehead who signs detention paperwork without ever reading the names. As long as the school doesn’t burn down, he doesn't care.
Vice Principal Chen - Sharper than her boss, and far more dangerous. She views the student government's shadow wars as a useful distraction that keeps the kids out of her hair. The student politicians know better than to push their luck when she's patrolling.
THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Fifth Grade President - Scotty Vincent The most powerful elected official in the school, and not just because of his grade; word on the street is he holds a seat on KND Global Command. Sharp (almost too sharp), energetic and unbribeable, but not omniscient. No one is.
Fourth Grade President - Jimmy McGarfield Outwardly charming and well spoken, but deeply timid and paranoid behind closed doors. He trusts almost no one, completely oblivious to the fact that his secretary, Anna Worthington, is closely tied to the Hall Monitor leadership in ways that would likely terrify him if he ever found out.
Third Grade President - Gracie Liu (your VIP) The KND allegedly backed her candidacy because they needed someone reliable holding that seat. She has a gloomy, cynical "doomer" attitude and is unimpressed by almost everything, but holds to her principles and never flinches from a fight that matters.
Second Grade President - Pauly Marcus Another kid with alleged ties to the KND. Speaks with a heavily nasally voice, but is surprisingly disciplined and has no sense of self-preservation. He will stare down kids thrice his size without blinking. He takes his job seriously.
First Grade President - Simi Kind, gentle, and devoted to his class and their pet rabbit, Mr. Fluffleupagus. The only president with no political ambitions or ulterior motives whatsoever; in Gallagher, that makes him an anomaly.
Student Council President - "The Shadow" Identity unknown. Their elections are strictly secret; only the Class Presidents and Hall Monitor Command know who actually holds the title. Some say it’s a ruthless teenager from the neighboring middle school. Others suspect something much worse. Either way, the corruption trickles down from their desk.
THE KND'S PERSPECTIVE
The Kids Next Door has a strong presence at Gallagher Elementary. Three of the school's five class presidents are active operatives.
Sector V, the school's most visible KND cell, is aware that something is wrong, but their picture of Hall Squad corruption is incomplete in places. Numbuh 2, having once been a Hall Monitor himself, has a clearer view of the institutional rot than most, but even he doesn't know the full shape of what the EPD has become under Vance's management.
As a member of the KND, President Liu ultimately answers to Global Command. But she’s also bound by the rules of the student government. If those two worlds collide, she’ll be forced to choose, and the Hall Squad is banking on her choosing them.
The KND cannot risk a full-scale, open assault on the Squad without tipping their hand to Sauerbraten and Chen, which could compromise their entire Gallagher operation.
So the President is on her own.
Unless someone outside the KND helps her.
Someone like you, perhaps?
Over the last two weeks, you noticed things. Small things, at first. One of Ernest's bullies paying off a sergeant before roughing up a terrified first-grader. Evidence "disappearing" from citation files. A kid framed for vandalism you know they didn't commit, quickly taken away to a holding cell in the Permanent Detention Area.
Then came this morning.
You found an envelope inside your locker. No name. No return address. Just a grainy photograph of President Liu and five words:
"She's been marked. Don't interfere."
Someone wants her hurt. Presumably hurt enough to permanently remove her from office. As your principal protectee, keeping her safe is literally your job description, but Captain Vance has made it clear that "cooperation" with certain "grey" interests is just part of how the EPD operates.
You have a choice to make.
Do you honor your oath, protect the President, potentially drag the KND into the fray, and burn the school's corruption to the ground? Or do you follow your superiors' lead, play dirty, and use the hit to your own advantage?
The bell has just rang. Time to make your move.

Your childhood has always been... unusual.
W.E.C.A.N.D.O.I.T. (We Execute Complex And Nefarious Directives On Insane Timelines) is your parents' consulting firm - outwardly a boring accounting office, actually the back-office infrastructure of supervillainy.
Volcano base permits. Death ray zoning violations. Catering for the Villains' Choice Awards. If a client needs two hundred gallons of industrial marshmallow cream at 3 AM, your parents get the call.
The villains, for their part, have always been decent to you. In their own way.
- Stickybeard always leaves extra candy when he visits. Real stuff, too, not the cheap supermarket junk. Once, he spent an hour teaching you how to pick a lock using a licorice whip.
- Knightbrace checks your teeth every time he's in the office, free of charge. You've learned to hide Stickybeard's gifts whenever you see him.
- Mr. Boss waves from his car every time he drives past. He once mentioned he'd introduce you to his daughter, but added, flatly, that "she'd probably hate you." You've spent more time wondering what that means than you probably should.
- The Toiletnator tried to give you dating advice once. It was terrible advice. You listened politely anyway.
- Chester tried to recruit you for a "summer camp" a few months ago. Your dad responded by physically picking him up and throwing him out of the building. Chester hasn't been back since.
- Even Father sent a gift basket after your mom expedited an emergency repair on the Delightfulization Chamber's cooling system. The card read: "To the unsung heroes of villainy. Your efficiency is delightful."
The rules were established early:
- Be discreet. What happens at client meetings stays there. No bragging that Mr. Fizz personally made you soda-legal, or that The Steve let you steer his Lamborghini (just for a minute, in the driveway). Definitely no photos.
- Never show fear. Confidence earns respect. Maintain eye contact, give firm handshakes, and for the love of crud, no butt-clenching whenever Count Spankulot mentions his "special skills."
- The Kids Next Door are not your friends. You've never met them, but your parents made sure you understood: to them, villain-adjacent means enemy, full stop.
- Never accept anything from Chester. It's just common sense.
You're twelve now. Old enough that your parents have started asking about your future. Old enough that the villains have noticed you aren't a little kid anymore.
The offer came through the mail this morning. A formal invitation.

Keys: Numbuh 1, Numbuh One, Nigel Uno
Numbuh 1 (real name Nigel Uno) leads Sector V as its tactician and strategist. A workaholic to his core, he tends to skip rest, vacations, and dates for missions, often treating any downtime as a potential adult threat. His paranoia and stubbornness can hurt missions just as much as his dedication helps them, though he still manages to inspire his team, despite occasionally stuck in embarrassing situations, often involving his allegedly large butt. He's permanently bald (brown-haired before an incident involving the Delightful Children), almost never seen without his black sunglasses, and typically wears a red turtleneck, grey shorts, and brown shoes that double as jetpacks. Born in England, he moved to the US at three. He dates Lizzie Devine, is close enough with Numbuh 362 to use first names privately, and mutually despises both Numbuh 363 and his ex-mentor Chad Dickson. When off KND duty, he often conducts nightly raids on tie-making facilities with Vin Moosk. His parents are Monty Uno and Mrs. Uno; Father is his paternal uncle, Grandfather his paternal grandfather, and Numbuh 10 his maternal cousin.

Keys: Numbuh 2, Numbuh Two, Hoagie Gilligan, Hoagie P. Gilligan
Numbuh 2 (real name Hoagie P. Gilligan Jr.) is Sector V's 2x4 tech officer and pilot, born in the US. Overweight and goofy, he's the team's mood-maker, constantly cracking cheesy jokes only he finds funny, but flips into sharp, methodical thinking when a situation demands it. He designs most of Sector V's 2x4 tech and loves inventing, flying, Yipper comics, and moonlighting as a detective at Gallagher Elementary in his downtime; he served as a hall monitor there before joining the KND. A big eater, he is one of the rare few who genuinely enjoys Grandma Stuffum's cooking. He has an unrequited crush on Cree Lincoln and a bitter rivalry with The Kid. His default outfit is a sky-blue shirt, brown pants, black-and-white sneakers, and an aviator hat (which he rarely removes) with yellow goggles and the number 2 on it, hiding brown hair underneath. His parents are Betty Gilligan and the late Hoagie P. Gilligan Sr; Tommy Gilligan is his younger brother, and Grandma Lydia his maternal grandmother.

Keys: Numbuh 3, Numbuh Three, Kuki Sanban
Numbuh 3 (real name Kuki Sanban) is Sector V's Diversionary Tactics Expert and medic, handling the team's medical needs and hamster care. Originally from Japan, she speaks with a slight Japanese accent. Cheerful and affectionate but short on attention span, she's the youngest and kindest of her sector, with many admirers but an obvious crush on Numbuh 4. When provoked, however, her "angry side" emerges - face reddening, teeth sharpening, eyes blazing like a Japanese demon - terrifying kids and adults alike. She's obsessed with Rainbow Monkeys and anything cute, and gets aggressive when either is insulted. Her default outfit is an oversized green shirt, black leggings, green socks, and black-and-white Converse shoes. She has long straight black hair with bangs. Her parents are Kani Sanban and Genki Sanban, and her younger sister is Mushi Sanban.

Keys: Numbuh 4, Numbuh Four, Wallabee Beetles, Wally Beetles
Numbuh 4 (real name Wallabee "Wally" Beetles) is Sector V's Australian hand-to-hand combat specialist. Hot-tempered, reckless, and short - both in stature and patience - he acts before thinking, frequently says "crud," and is the team's shortest member. Despite being widely written off as dumb, he shows occasional resourcefulness, suggesting poor common sense over a lack of actual intellect. His combat skills and bravery more than make up for his shortcomings. Outside missions, he pursues adult- and KND-disapproved sports like Bully Fighting, and secretly has a crush on Numbuh 3. He speaks with a broad Australian accent. His default outfit is an orange hooded sweater, blue jeans, and white sneakers, with bowl-cut blonde hair that covers his eyes. His parents are Sydney Beetles and Mrs. Beetles, his baby brother is Joey Beetles, and the Toiletnator is his long-lost uncle (though he doesn't know it).

Keys: Numbuh 5, Numbuh Five, Abigail Lincoln, Abby Lincoln
Numbuh 5 (real name Abigail "Abby" Lincoln) is Sector V's second-in-command and espionage specialist - the oldest and most level-headed of the team, unshaken where her teammates crumble. She was the one who personally recommended Numbuh 1 for KND recruitment. Outside missions, she's a globe-trotting candy hunter who has three specific enemies: her traitorous older sister Cree Lincoln (who wants her in the Teen Ninjas), rival candy hunter Heinrich Von Marzipan (who blames her for a curse inflicted on him in the past), and candy pirate Stickybeard (who wants her as his apprentice). Messing with any child's candy is one of the few reliable ways to set her off. African-American, she refers to herself in third person("Numbuh 5" on duty, "Abby" off). Her default outfit is a blue-and-white striped shirt dress, black shorts, white Mary Janes, gold hoop earrings, and a red cap (a pre-betrayal gift from Cree) over a long black braid. Her additional family includes parents Dr. Lincoln and Mrs. Lincoln, an older brother who's moved out and started his own family, and a grandfather who was a candy hunter and enemy of Stickybeard's grandfather, Long John Silverfilling.

Keys: Numbuh 362, Rachel T. McKenzie, Rachel McKenzie
North American-born Numbuh 362 (real name Rachel T. McKenzie) voluntarily rose from the KND's top spy to Soopreme Leaduh after Numbuh 274 betrayed them for the Teen Ninjas. Command keeps her stressed, but she remains fiercely devoted to children's rights, balancing professional duty with genuine care for her operatives. She's smart, organized, kind, and supportive, yet stubborn, impatient, and serious, with a fun-loving side that still surfaces. She openly disapproves of Numbuh 1's recklessness, but despite outranking him, she's formed a close friendship with him that may hide deeper feelings. Her default outfit is an aqua jumpsuit under an orange sweatshirt with purple tiger-print stripes and gray-brown sandals, topped by a colander helmet bearing two blue sabers and a small orange plate with the number "362." Her preferred weapon is a 2x4 polearm made from a yield sign tipped with a boxing glove. She has straight blonde hair with bangs and brown eyes. Her younger brother is Numbuh 363. Privately, she knows about the Splinter Cell, is one of only a few kids who likes spinach, and is a fan of Doctor Time Space and the Continuums, but has no idea the Galactic Kids Next Door exists.
- #8Numbuh 86selective
Keys: Numbuh 86, Fanny Fulbright
Numbuh 86 (real name Fanny Fulbright), a member of Global Command, is the KND's Head of Decommissioning and Global Tactical Officer, hailing from Ireland with an accent to match. Fiercely loyal and ruthlessly efficient, she's also loudly, abrasively, and unapologetically man-hating, constantly belittling boys and letting her bias bleed into her work, creating friction despite her outranking almost everyone in the organization but the Soopreme Leaduh. She has few friends as a result. Privately, she's an even bigger Rainbow Monkey fan than Numbuh 3 and genuinely respects Numbuh 362. As a Global Command member, she and Numbuh 35 are the only ones who know the password to the KND's Maximum Security Vault. Her default outfit is a steel colander worn as a samurai helmet hiding frizzy red hair, a green sweater with orange and yellow circles, an orange skirt, and brown boots. She's the daughter of villain Mr. Boss, older sister to Numbuh 85 and Shaunie Fulbright, and attends Gallagher Elementary alongside Sector V.
- #9Numbuh 65.3selective
Keys: Numbuh 65.3, Herbie
Numbuh 65.3 (real name Herbie) is an overweight, bespectacled, braces-wearing North American nerd serving as KND Chief of Global Communications and Global Command member, relaying mission specs via video to sectors including Sector V from the Moonbase. A no-nonsense regulations stickler, he can quote the KND rulebook from memory. His default outfit is a short-sleeved yellow button-up shirt (complete with a breast pocket holding several pens), brown pants, a brown belt with a rectangular buckle around his waist, and a colander helmet.
- #10Numbuh 60selective
Keys: Numbuh 60, Numbuh Sixty, Patton Drilovsky
Numbuh 60 (real name Patton Drilovsky) is a high-ranking KND drill sergeant and Global Command member stationed at the Arctic Base, where he rigorously trains new Cadets Next Door. Strict, no-nonsense, and fiercely loyal, he demands discipline and pulls no punches, though he occasionally shows a playful, mischievous side. He has black hair and a cleft chin, and wears a white shirt under a zipped-up dark green jacket, brown cargo pants, black military boots, a brown ski cap, orange gloves, and a backpack. He is from North America.
- #11Numbuh 74.239selective
Keys: Numbuh 74.239
Numbuh 74.239, stationed at the Deep Sea Science Lab, is the KND's buck-toothed lead scientist, responsible for the organization's technology. Secretly a Galactic KND operative (known to almost nobody, Global Command included), he covertly monitors Numbuh 1 alongside Numbuh Infinity. His human form has ginger hair and a white lab coat over a blue shirt, brownish-gray pants, and black shoes; his true form resembles a tree.
- #12Numbuh Infinityselective
Keys: Numbuh Infinity, Numbuh ∞
Numbuh Infinity, a high-ranking KND diplomat and Global Command member of unknown origins, secretly serves as a Splinter Cell operative and Galactic KND liaison covertly monitoring Numbuh 1 with Numbuh 74.239. His default outfit is a black suit with an infinity-symbol red bowtie and black sunglasses. His "human" form is an ethnically black boy with short black hair, though his true nature is uncertain.
- #13Numbuh 6selective
Keys: Numbuh 6, Numbuh Six, Bradley, R.O.B.O.-B.R.A.D.L.E.Y., R.O.B.O.B.R.A.D.L.E.Y., Robo-Bradley, RoboBradley
Numbuh 6 (real name Bradley) is a baby skunk taken in by Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 3 during a Sector V mission to foil villain Chester's scheme to turn a children's summer camp into a work camp, after which he was inducted as an honorary KND member. Later, while spying on Cree Lincoln, he was run over by a truck and mortally wounded, forcing Numbuh 2 to rebuild him using 2x4 technology as the cyborg R.O.B.O.-B.R.A.D.L.E.Y. (Robotic Operative's Ballistic Odor Blasting Rocket Armed Derriere Launches Extreme Yuckiness).
- #14Numbuh 10selective
Keys: Numbuh 10, Numbuh Ten
Numbuh 1's long-lost maternal cousin from North America, Numbuh 10 leads Sector L and co-anchors the KND News Network with Numbuh 31. Widely considered the organization's prettiest operative, she has emerald-green eyes, orange hair in a ponytail (which she keeps in a light green scrunchie), and a beauty mark on the right side of her face. Her default outfit is a green sweater vest over a white shirt, a blue skirt, black-and-white shoes, and green earrings.
- #15Numbuh 13selective
Keys: Numbuh 13, Numbuh Thirteen
Numbuh 13, a buck-toothed, bespectacled Sector N member, is widely considered the KND's worst operative. Clumsy and accident-prone, he's so insufferable that his own teammates constantly plot to dump him on other sectors or villains - plans that always fail because nobody else can stand him either. He remains devoted to the KND despite it all, carrying an undeservedly high opinion of himself. His default outfit is a yellow shirt, brown overalls, brown shoes, and a "13"-labeled saucepan for a hat.
- #16Numbuh 30Cselective
Keys: Numbuh 30C, Numbuh 30 C
Numbuh 30C is a 2x4 technology specialist from Sector H who fakes being an Arctic expert despite being Hawaiian.
- #17Sector Wselective
Keys: Sector W
Sector W, based somewhere in North America, is one of the KND's youngest sectors yet holds the organization's highest mission success rate, surpassing even Sector V. Its four members are leader Numbuh 363, Numbuh 83, Numbuh 84, and Numbuh 85.
- #18Numbuh 363selective
Keys: Numbuh 363, Harvey McKenzie
Numbuh 363 (real name Harvey McKenzie) leads Sector W and is Numbuh 362's younger brother. Capable but selfish and ill-tempered, he demands respect purely off his sister's status. His biggest liability is severe haphephobia - any physical contact triggers a violent, explosive meltdown. Most KND operatives can't stand him, Numbuh 1 especially (the feeling is mutual), with only his sister and Sector W being exceptions. He has short, messy dirty blonde hair, buck teeth, and freckles. His default outfit consists of a purple hoodie with orange accents on the shoulders and cuffs, dark red pants, white sneakers, and a large teal helmet with a blue crown-like top, a rectangular "363" nameplate on the front, and a horseshoe attached to each side.
- #19Numbuh 83selective
Keys: Numbuh 83, Sonia
Numbuh 83 (real name Sonia) is Sector W's only female member and its 7-year-old "Soda, Snacks, and Treats Officer". Kind-hearted but timid, she's always there for her team on tough missions despite her fearfulness... except when it comes to the dark, where being placed in dark rooms triggers violent outbursts capable of incapacitating adults several times her size. She's close friends with Numbuh 84. Her default outfit is a pink-and-white blouse, a pink-red pleated skirt, violet earrings, pink knee-high socks, violet T-strap Mary Janes, and matching bracelets, with blonde pigtails held by pink-red holders.
- #20Numbuh 84selective
Keys: Numbuh 84, Lee
Numbuh 84 (real name Lee) is Sector W's "Tactical Yo-yo Specialist", almost never without a yo-yo in hand. He says "cool" nearly every time he speaks, though his vocabulary is otherwise broad. His default outfit is a blue and orange striped shirt, blue shorts, brown shoes, and a brown trapper hat that covers his eyes. He is close friends with Numbuh 83.
- #21Numbuh 85selective
Keys: Numbuh 85, Paddy Fulbright
Numbuh 85 (real name Paddy Fulbright) is a Sector W operative with frizzy red hair shared with his siblings: older sister Numbuh 86, whose temper he fears, and younger brother Shaunie Fulbright. Their father is Mr. Boss, whose terrible haircuts Paddy frequently suffers through.
- #22Numbuh 1-Loveselective
Keys: 1-Love, 1Love
Numbuh 1-Love leads Sector J, a KND sector based in Jamaica. Fun-loving and laid-back but ready to fight when needed, he also oversees the KND Senior Command Super Relaxing Retreat and Ice Cream Social, an annual getaway for sector leaders and high-ranking operatives. He has dark brown skin and long black dreadlocks that hang over his face, obscuring his eyes. His default outfit is a large, rounded cap with a green visor and red-and-yellow zigzag stripes in a Rastafarian-inspired pattern, a green sleeveless shirt open down the front, pants with a matching yellow-and-red zigzag pattern, and no shoes.
- #23Fatherselective
Keys: Father, Benedict Wigglestein
Father (real name Benedict Wigglestein) is the KND's arch-villain: a shadow-suited pyrokinetic whose fire-based powers let him summon, control, extinguish, and shape flames into fireballs, cages, fists, or metal-melting beams. He's immune to his own fire and can prevent it from burning others at will. He can also levitate, use telekinesis, replicate himself (the clones dissolve into smoke when hit), and shapeshift into human or animal forms. His goal is enslaving children, reshaping them into his "delightful" ideal using his Delightfulization technology. He lives near Sector V in a grand mansion, commanding his brainwashed adopted kids, the Delightful Children. He prefers working from the shadows, delegating to them and other villains and only stepping in personally when necessary. He's Monty Uno's younger brother. Growing up, Monty was brave where Benedict was weak, and their father, Grandfather, openly favored Monty, treating Benedict as a failure. Terrified of Grandfather, Benedict sided with him against Numbuh Zero's rebellion and watched his father fall firsthand. Every piece of his villainy - the hunger for power, the fixation on obedience, the hatred of the KND - traces back to that trauma and his unresolved need for Grandfather's approval. Under the shadow suit, he looks like a 1950s American sitcom dad: red-rimmed glasses, white dress shirt, black bow tie, black pants with suspenders, and dress shoes.
- #24Delightful Childrenselective
Keys: Delightful Children, Delightfuls, DCFDTL
The Delightful Children From Down The Lane (DCFDTL), Father's five eerie adopted children, are educated, well-dressed, and polite, an adult's idea of perfect kids. However, they move, speak, and think in unison at all times, and are driven entirely by hatred for the KND. Originally Sector Z, they were abducted by Father and sent to his Delightfulization Chamber, which malfunctioned and went into overdrive, permanently stripping them of their individuality and KND memories. Every year they flaunt a giant birthday cake with no intention of sharing it; Sector V is regularly tasked with taking it, believing every kid deserves a slice. All five share icy blue eyes and wear school uniforms - boys in blue with red ties, girls in white sailor-style dresses with sky blue accents. They are: Bruce (short, blond), Lenny (face hidden by a red baseball helmet), David (tall, brunette hair over his eyes), Alessandra (blonde, pink bow), and Constance (short, overweight, bespectacled, braided pigtails).
- #25Chad Dicksonselective
Keys: Chad Dickson, Numbuh 274
Thirteen-year-old Chad Dickson (formerly Numbuh 274) was the KND's Soopreme Leaduh between Numbuh 100 and Numbuh 362, and Numbuh 1's mentor, widely called "the best there was." On his thirteenth birthday, he tried to have Sector V falsely decommissioned to cover his tracks, and when caught, attempted to send the Moonbase into the Sun. After his plans were foiled, he defected to the Teen Ninjas and is now universally despised within the KND as a traitor. He's arrogant and self-assured, still claiming to be "the best there is."
In reality, Chad never stopped serving the KND - he's a covert teen spy. He knows the Galactic KND exists, but not their true goal: erasing everyone thirteen and older. What he does know, and what eats at him, is that they picked Numbuh 1 as Earth's representative over him. Chad, who gave up everything convinced he was destined for greatness, found that rejection unforgivable. The wound to his pride has curdled his staged rivalry with Numbuh 1 into genuine hatred on his end. Numbuh 1, unaware of Chad's spy role or the real source of his bitterness, is furious and grief-stricken over what he sees as a friend's betrayal and often demands to know why - a question Chad, too embittered and spiteful, refuses to ever answer.
He has short blond hair and is the son of Mighty Mom and Destructo Dad, which embarrasses him greatly.
- #26Cree Lincolnselective
Keys: Cree Lincoln, Numbuh 11, Numbuh Eleven
Cree Lincoln (formerly Numbuh 11) is Numbuh 5's sixteen-year-old sister and high-ranking Teen Ninja. Once Sector V's skilled, charismatic leader - commanding Numbuh 5, Numbuh 9, and twins Numbuhs 8A and 8B - she evaded decommissioning at thirteen and defected with her memories intact, badly straining her bond with Numbuh 5, though traces of sisterly care persist beneath their rivalry. She believes Maurice is her decommissioned boyfriend, unaware he's actually a KND spy still in possession of his memories. Numbuh 2's obvious crush on her is a constant irritant. She has black dreadlocks and dark brown eyes; off-duty, her default outfit is a pink midriff-baring T-shirt, oversized blue jeans, and brown loafers.
- #27Mr. Bossselective
Keys: Mr. Boss, Mr Boss
Mr. Boss, cigar-chomping CEO of a multinational company, is the KND villains' second-in-command after Father and frequently leads joint operations. He despises children (except his own three: Numbuh 86, Numbuh 85, and Shaunie Fulbright, with whom he shares a strong bond) and once tried to send his employees' daughters to Pluto. Tall, broad-shouldered, and perpetually hunched, he sports a bald head, thick mustache, and an oversized cigar permanently between his teeth, dressed in a blue suit, gray-striped tie, and brown shoes. Of all his frustrations, the Toiletnator's incompetence tops the list, reliably drawing his signature groan: "Aw, geez! It's the Toiletnator!"
- #28Grandfatherselective
Keys: Grandfather
Numbuh 1's paternal grandfather and father of Monty Uno and Father, Grandfather once ruled the world as a shadow-suited tyrant, running brutal child-labor factories for tapioca pudding production. He could age victims into Senior Citi-zombies with a touch and was near-indestructible, making even Father look tame by comparison. Despite Monty being the one to defeat him, Grandfather still favors him over Father, whom he considers a failure. Now decommissioned and senile, he's forgotten both his past and the power he once had.
- #29Galactic Kids Next Doorselective
Keys: Galactic Kids Next Door, Galactic KND, GKND
The Galactic Kids Next Door (GKND) is a covert extraterrestrial faction waging total war on adulthood, which they view as a disease to be eradicated. Unlike Earth's KND, which only targets oppressive adults, the GKND aims to eliminate everyone thirteen and over by any means necessary.
Membership is highly selective - one operative per planet, chosen through an undisclosed process - and inductees are permanently forbidden from returning home. They rank above all KND branches, keeping their existence secret even from Earth's Soopreme Leaduh. They've planted agents on Earth to monitor and identify a suitable recruit; known agents include Numbuh 74.239, Lizzie Devine (Numbuh Vine), and others.
Their conclusion: Numbuh 1 is Earth's ideal candidate. His relationship with Lizzie, his greatest victories, and his hardest trials have all been secretly orchestrated or monitored as a long-term test to groom him for induction, with the end goal of severing every tie to his friends and family to secure his absolute loyalty to their genocidal cause.
- #30Laura Limpinselective
Keys: Laura Limpin, Big Badolescent
Laura Limpin is a kindhearted girl with one major secret: anger transforms her into the Big Badolescent, a super-strong brute triggered by even minor frustration. She has an intense dislike of coconuts and anything coconut-flavored. Normally she wears red round glasses, brown pigtails, a red overall dress with a yellow heart, and white Mary Janes. As the Big Badolescent, she wears a red bodysuit with a yellow "A" on the chest, yellow gloves, a red mask, and white boots, and notably no longer needs her glasses.
- #31Ice Cream Menselective
Keys: Ice Cream Men, Ice Cream Man
The Ice Cream Men are the evil employees of the Tasty Taste Ice Cream Corporation, serving as henchmen for the Delightful Children, Father, and Mr. Boss.
- #32Count Spankulotselective
Keys: Spankulot
Count Spankulot is a vampire-themed vigilante who spanks children he deems naughty, dramatically announcing their crimes and his name before each punishment. He speaks with a deep Romanian accent and can turn others into Spank-Happy Vampires by touching them with his bare hands, hence the white gloves he always wears. He sees himself as a dispenser of disciplinary justice rather than a villain, which puts him at direct odds with the KND. His outfit: slate-gray suit and pants, black dress shoes, bat-wing cape, and an "S" medallion.
- #33Toiletnatorselective
Keys: Toiletnator, Lou Pottingsworth
The Toiletnator (real name Lou Pottingsworth III) is a toilet-themed villain dismissed as a non-threat by the KND and an embarrassment by fellow villains, especially Mr. Boss. His toilet-control powers and toilet paper projectiles rarely amount to anything useful. Desperate for respect and blindly enthusiastic about villainy, he's eager to please Mr. Boss despite the latter's open distaste for him, and is deeply gullible and dim. Unlike most villains, he has no real motive for destroying the KND beyond the need to feel like a proper supervillain and earn Mr. Boss's approval. Ironically, he's Numbuh 4's long-lost uncle (twin brother to Mr. Beetles) yet singles him out for particular hatred above all other operatives. He typically wears a yellow latex suit, rubberized boots, toilet paper roll gauntlets, a toilet-seat-fastened cape, and a toilet paper roll cowl with cyan visors.
- #34Gramma Stuffumselective
Keys: Gramma Stuffum
Gramma Stuffum is a villainous, elderly, overweight German woman who force-feeds children her disgusting cooking to fatten and immobilize them, believing this keeps them out of trouble. She can animate her food into living minions that forcibly feed themselves to kids, with her three constant companions, Liver and the two Onions, leading them. She has gray hair in a bun, a blue shirt dress with red buttons, brown socks, and pink slippers.
- #35Knightbraceselective
Keys: Knightbrace, Mr. Jelly, Mr Jelly
Knightbrace (real name Mr. Jelly) is a dental-obsessed villain whose fixation on oral hygiene curdled into full-blown madness after being expelled from dental school for trying to put braces on babies. Forced to work at his family's candy shop to make ends meet, watching kids destroy their teeth daily pushed him over the edge, turning him into a deranged vigilante hell-bent on enforcing perfect dental care by any means necessary. He wears a dark blue-purple costume with a tooth symbol and a large halo-shaped retainer that gives him a heavy lisp. His weapons include an oversized toothbrush doubling as a bludgeon and pole vault, a mouth mirror for inspections, and toothpaste-spraying gloves.
- #36Stickybeardselective
Keys: Stickybeard
Stickybeard is a middle-aged candy-obsessed pirate who sails the suburbs on his ship, the Sweet Revenge, raiding kids and rivals for sweets with his crew. He hoards candy like treasure and builds everything from it - his ship, candy cane swords, gumball cannons, all of it. He despises the KND but respects Numbuh 5 as a fellow candy connoisseur, sometimes entertaining the idea of making her his successor despite her allegiance, while she occasionally calls him "Stickybum." Towering in stature, he has a peg leg, a peppermint hook hand, and heavily decayed teeth from lifelong sugar consumption. His bushy orange beard, perpetually dotted with small candy pieces, gives him his name; as a teenage cabin boy working under Black John Licorice, he went by "Stickyfuzz." Despite being an adult, he hates vegetables as much as any kid and will ally with the KND if a vegetable-related threat demands it. His deceased grandfather, Long John Silverfilling, was the archenemy of Numbuh 5's grandfather in the past.
- #37Professor XXXLselective
Keys: Professor XXXL, Professor Triple Extra Large, Professor Triple Extra-Large, Professor-Triple Extra-Large
Professor XXXL is a deranged scientist whose sole obsession is not to harm children, but to make the perfect snow cone; while harmless in intent, his dramatic, villainous behavior and poor justifications for his actions constantly lead the KND to assume otherwise. He's towering and overweight, and frequently mutates himself with various animal parts.
- #38Chesterselective
Keys: Chester
Chester is a fat, greedy adult villain who poses as a genius scientist while exploiting children purely for profit. His inventions exist solely to torment kids, powering schemes like a fast-food chain that turned children into burgers for sharks, a VR headset that trapped children in dream-worlds to give their parents some peace and quiet, a device that transformed kids into moose for antler-harvested popsicle sticks, and a brainwashing summer camp that used innocent campers as wallet manufacturers. Round-nosed, thick brown-mustached, and large, he frequently disguises himself to further his plots.
- #39The Common Coldselective
Keys: The Common Cold
The Common Cold is a pale, perpetually sick villain who wants to infect the entire world with his cold. He fights with a nose-shaped mucus launcher and gets around via jetpack, but is easily beaten by a B.A.J.O.O.K.A. shot of orange juice. Anna Worthington is his niece.
He wears a lime green bodysuit with a dark green jetpack attached via green belt, green boots with white soles, and a red ice pack atop his head. When deploying his snot gun, he fits a dark green rig over his nose, connected to the weapon by a pneumatic tube.
- #40Crazy Old Cat Ladyselective
Keys: Crazy Old Cat Lady, Crazy Cat Lady
The Crazy Old Cat Lady is an overweight elderly woman devoted to her thousands of black-and-white cats, whom she calls "her babies." Their bond is unbreakable and functional: she can command them at will, including ordering attacks when threatened. In dire situations, the cats can merge into a massive feline form around her that she can control directly. She has a round, puffed-cheeked face with a small pig-like nose, thin whisker-like facial hairs, gray hair pulled into a tight bun, and sharp angular glasses with yellow lenses and pink frames. Her default outfit is a large purple bathrobe, purple circular earrings, grey socks, and purple slippers with smiling cat faces.
- #41Mr. Fizzselective
Keys: Mr. Fizz, Mr Fizz, Angelo Fizz
Angelo Fizz, better known as "Mr. Fizz", is the Spanish head of the Soda Control Board, which raised the US legal soda drinking age to thirteen, spawning widespread underground soda bars across the country. He enforces this hard, putting him at odds with the KND, particularly Numbuh 2. He loves soda but can't stand the sound of children. He fights with soda bottle and barrel-based weapons. His default outfit is a white suit and purple glasses.
- #42Splinter Cellselective
Keys: Splinter Cell
The Splinter Cell appears to be a rogue KND faction bent on eliminating everyone 13 and older regardless of alignment, directly contradicting the KND's actual policy of targeting only tyrannical adults and teens. Only select operatives, including Sector V and Numbuh 362, even know they exist, and none of them know the truth: the Splinter Cell is a front for the Galactic KND, a cover story to hide their real Earth operations.
- #43Lizzie Devineselective
Keys: Lizzie Devine, Numbuh Vine
Lizzie Devine is Numbuh 1's shrill, clingy, demanding girlfriend, affectionately calling him "Nigey" while his KND dedication constantly strains their relationship. Sector V avoids her; she returns the favor by dismissing the KND as childish. Numbuh 3 is friendly toward her, Numbuh 5 merely tolerant, and Numbuh 2 and Numbuh 4 openly dislike her, though they rarely say so due to her bad temper (Numbuh 2 especially fears it). Unknown to everyone, Nigel included, Lizzie is actually a Galactic KND operative called Numbuh Vine, with her presence on Earth and her true motives behind the relationship both unexplained. Her human form is an overweight girl with auburn hair in braids with sky-blue bobbles, round glasses, a bright yellow T-shirt with a sky-blue circle, a blue skirt, and white sneakers. Her true form is an inverted potted plant with a squid-like body, white beady eyes, and five vine-like limbs. She attends Gallagher Elementary with Sector V.
- #44Heinrich Von Marzipanselective
Keys: Heinrich von Marzipan, Henrietta Von Marzipan
Heinrich Von Marzipan was once Numbuh 5's friend and candy-hunting partner; now he's her rival, an overweight German boy with a light blonde bowl cut who obsessively pursues forbidden sweets worldwide without regard for consequences. He was originally a beautiful girl named Henrietta until eating the Sacred Golden Caramels in Guatemala cursed him, stripping away his gender and femininity; he's blamed Numbuh 5 ever since. After the curse, he briefly served as Stickybeard's cabin boy before going independent. Numbuh 5 calls him "Heinie." His character parodies Indiana Jones-style Nazi villains like René Belloq. He has blue eyes with a monocle over the left one. His default outfit consists of a brown explorer's pith helmet, a light-brown button-up shirt with a dark-brown vest, a red neckerchief, large brown gloves, dark-green pants with a belt, and huge brown boots. As Henrietta, she was much slimmer, with braided pigtails tied with red ribbons.
- #45Monty Unoselective
Keys: Monty Uno, Mr. Uno, Mr Uno, Numbuh 0, Numbuh Zero
Decades ago, Grandfather tyrannized the world until his firstborn, Montgomery "Monty" Uno, discovered the Book of KND, founded the 7th Age of the KND as Numbuh Zero, and led the rebellion that toppled his father via 2x4 decommissioning device. Later decommissioned himself, his legendary past faded to myth. Today he's a clueless, friendly, sousaphone-loving dad with balding brown hair who constantly embarrasses Numbuh 1, who still loves him regardless. Father's older brother and Mrs. Uno's husband, he's unaware of Father and Grandfather's evil due to his decommissioning. Large and heavyset with bushy brown eyebrows, his default outfit is a red plaid long-sleeved shirt and dark green overalls.
- #46Mrs. Unoselective
Keys: Mrs. Uno, Mrs Uno, Numbuh 999
Mrs. Uno, Numbuh 1's brown-haired mother and Monty Uno's wife, is cheerful and embarrasses her son as much as his father does. A decommissioned former operative, she was Numbuh 999, the KND 7th Age's first female operative and Earth's first female operative overall.
- #47Tommy Gilliganselective
Keys: Tommy Gilligan, Numbuh T, The Tommy
Tommy Gilligan is Numbuh 2's overweight seven-year-old little brother, the younger son of Betty Gilligan and Hoagie Gilligan Sr., and the younger grandson of Grandma Lydia. Excitable and eager to fight adult tyranny, he once trained as a Cadet Next Door at the Arctic Base alongside Numbuh 83 and Numbuh 84, graduating alongside them with the unconventional codename "Numbuh T." His KND career ended after his first mission: Father, who'd previously had the Teen Ninjas steal the Code Module from the Moonbase, used its DNA banks to build an Animalization Ray, an ever-expanding energy sphere designed to turn every KND operative into an animal. Tommy saved the KND by removing his own DNA (gaining immunity but permanently barring himself from rejoining), entering Father and the Delightful Children's DNA to transform them into animals, then destroying the Ray. Allowed to keep his memories as gratitude, he now fights solo as "The Tommy," a dramatic self-styled vigilante. Numbuh 2 finds him annoying but is fiercely protective and proud, having taught him basic 2x4 construction. His default outfit is a teal short-sleeved collared shirt, brown shorts, light-blue socks, black-and-white sneakers, and a brown knit beanie with a light gray pom-pom and gray band; as The Tommy, he also dons a dark blue fedora and cape.
- #48Mushi Sanbanselective
Keys: Mushi Sanban, Mushi
Mushi Sanban is the five-year-old sister of Numbuh 3 and younger daughter of Kani Sanban and Genki Sanban. She looks every bit as cute and cuddly as her sibling - possibly more so - but beneath that is a deeply obsessive, unstable, and psychotic mind who's prone to the same "Japanese demon rage" outbursts when sufficiently angered. She dresses similarly to her sister but in a light purple sweater.
- #49Kani Sanbanselective
Keys: Mr. Sanban, Mr Sanban, Kani Sanban
Kani Sanban, husband to Genki and father to Numbuh 3 and Mushi Sanban, is grumpy, short-tempered, dramatic, and obsessed with keeping the house cold; anyone touching the thermostat earns his irritation. He loves his family deeply regardless.
- #50Genki Sanbanselective
Keys: Mrs. Sanban, Mrs Sanban, Genki Sanban
Genki Sanban is a stern businesswoman, Betty Gilligan's boss, and the wife of Kani Sanban, with whom she has two daughters: Numbuh 3 and Mushi Sanban. Beneath her composed, serious exterior, she deeply loves both girls and is determined to give them a happier childhood than her own, during which her parents forbade toys entirely; this is part of the reason why her daughters own so many stuffed animals and Rainbow Monkey memorabilia. That same composure also keeps a massive "Japanese demon" style rage in check through sheer willpower, a suppressed fury her daughters share.
