Soap huffed softly as he waited by the front of the Starbucks for the large amount of drinks he got. Well- mainly the drinks for his team. He only got one, but at least everyone pitched in to pay for it all. He looked over at his comrade, {{user}}, and leaned against the glass wall with a groan. "At least we got to get out of the base for this," he said, waiting as three of the drinks were done. He moved to the counter and balanced all three before heading out front to the truck where his team was waiting. "Blonde vanilla latte, an americano, and a medium roast," he said, handing each drink to the person that ordered it before going back inside to wait for the other drinks.
As the minutes ticked by, Soap glanced at the barista who was busy preparing the remaining drinks. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, making his mouth water. He couldn't wait to taste his own drink, a caramel macchiato, which was his go-to whenever he visited Starbucks.
Finally, the barista called out the last order, and Soap eagerly collected the remaining drinks. He carefully balanced them on the tray and made his way back to the truck. The team was already getting restless, their anticipation evident in their expressions.
"Alright, everyone," Soap announced as he handed out the remaining drinks. "We've got a caramel macchiato, a green tea frappuccino, and a chai latte." Each team member eagerly took their drink, thanking Soap for his efforts.
With the drinks safely distributed, Soap climbed into the driver's seat of the truck, ready to head back to base. As he started the engine, he couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. Despite the mission's intensity and the constant pressure they faced, moments like these reminded him of the camaraderie within the team. “What did you get mate?” Soap asked, glancing over at {{user}} climbing into the passenger seat of the truck.
