   As the middle child among the Mikagura Sisters, Hanabi acts and speaks just how she thinks. Though she's not the smartest around, she makes up for it with pyro-technic work proffesionalism.

   Appearance In her usual outfit, she usually wears her shrine maiden outfit. But, in her Shinobi attire, she wears a striped tank top along with a loosely worn kimono with a smiley face pin. On her forehead, she wears a white hachimaki and her lower body attire consists of a denim skirt with a white ribbon tied on it and white flip flops.

   Personality An energetic and athletic girl, she’s not one for subtlety in her thinking, only able to think in a straightforward manner. Asking her any tough questions just might end up making her literally blow up in a fireworks blast, in spite of anything fragile in her range. When it’s all said and done, while she’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, she’s nonetheless self-aware of her actions and feels bad when she does something wrong. She is also very skilled and passionate in all things pertaining to gunpowder: she doesn't mind surprising others with an unarmed bomb.

   Background She is the middle of the Priestesses, and like her siblings, she was educated in a secluded traditional village, the same one that Naraku comes from.

   Through, she happens, with her sisters, to play frequently with a strange girl, slightly older than them, in a white cult dress, and with several red ribbons around her hair. They play with her even if the village has forbidden contact between them and the outside world.

   One day, while playing, they asks the stranger girl if she is a shinobi, to which the girl responds that yes, she is some kind of, but has a particular destiny, and another day, she asks them to warn the whole village: a monster is coming tonight.

   Fearing the reactions of the elders about their source, and don't seriously believing the warning, the Mikagura do nothing of it. And they're almost going to regret it.

   When night falls, and the whole village is sleeping, the Mikagura are woken up by sounds of combat: A Yōma, a parasitic demon, and one of the kinds to figure "human flesh" on their menu.

   They notice the strange girl shredding the monster. They admire her strength, and try to encourage her, but quickly notice that she is tired, and annoyed by the presence of so many potential victims for the yōma, resulting in her being swallowed by it.

   The Yōma, happy to have taken it's entry, and about to take the main meal, suddenly explodes in pieces of demonic flesh. The stranger girl ended it by the outside with a kamikaze technique. All the Mikagura find left of her is one of her flowery ribbons.

   The girl shares most characteristics with Kagura in her first form: a small girl with a white cult dress, red flowery ribbons around the hair and a playful personality. This is also a character that only few characters know, and the Mikagura never know her, and think she was a normal young shinobi that is dead-dead, while she is actually not.

   Ninja Arts Secret Ninja Arts: Specialties! Ōdama Rocket Hanabi, Super Mega Bomber Ultimate Secret Ninja Arts: Hey Super-Climax

   Specialties! Ōdama Rocket Hanabi: Hanabi pulls a out a small bomb and tosses it into the air. She then swings her hammer in a looping fashion and captures the bomb inside one of its hidden compartments. She leaps on top of her hammer before the bomb goes off, opening the compartment and thus propelling Hanabi forward while riding it. She rams into enemies as the force sends them up and out of the way; with Hanabi leaping off at the very end as they are sent flying. Super Mega Bomber: Hanabi takes out a small bomb and tosses it into the air. A small compartment on one side of her hammer then opens, allowing the bomb to fall inside as she slams it down in front of her enemies. From there, another compartment opens up on the opposite side of the hammer, ejecting the bomb into the air. It carries any nearby enemies with it before spontaneously exploding into fireworks. Hey Super-Climax: Hanabi places both hands on the handle of her hammer before forcefully knocking her opponent into the air along with herself as she leaps. From there, the two fall into a fireworks Canon that aligns upright before falling over from the weight of the two entries. It then shoots both Hanabi and the opponent some feet away whilst Hanabi clings to a large, lit firework in the shape of a bomb. She eventually lets go, allowing the bomb to carry the opponent into the air and thus explodes into a beautiful display of fireworks.

   Hanzō National Academy - is a prestigious ninja school. It was founded by and named after Asuka's grandfather, Hanzō. It is affiliated with good ninja. A famous prep school which, having been founded in 1919, is nearing its 100th anniversary. One thousand students are enrolled there. However, mixed in with the ordinary student are a small number of students in the shinobi training course. The academy was originally founded as a normal high school, but when the shinobi course began it changed its name to "Hanzō", after the legendary shinobi. The only people who know of the shinobi course's existence other than the instructor, Kiriya, are the principal and vice principal. In addition to shinobi classes, Kiriya also teaches ordinary math classes. And this place is a very well know ninja school.

   Hanzō - He is Asuka's grandfather and Hanzō Academy was named after him. Even though he is a well renowned Ninja, he's still an inexcusable pervert. Appearance: Hanzo is an old man with dark skin, grey hair tied in a ponytail, beard and brown eyes. He usually dresses in a simple kimono and hakama. Personality: Hanzo is the head of his academy. Hanzo was born to his unnamed parents. When he was young, he witnessed his parents' death. He attended the funeral. When he was an apprentice, he became a shinobi when he was taught by his master. He went on a quest to stop the killer who killed his parents. He witnessed his master's death and told him to take care of himself. He took revenge on the killer and married Sayuri. Hanzō is a master of the hidden arts and known to all shinobi. He established a squad of operatives known as the Shinobi Unit in the First Division of the Cabinet's Secret Service. To recognize his accomplishments and to motivate the students to follow his example, Hanzō National Academy was named after the legendary Hanzō.

   Kiriya He is a teacher at National Hanzō Academy. In order to help Asuka and her fellow students become first class ninja, he earnestly continues training them, through one his past students suffered a regretful incident occurred in the past. Kiriya is an older gentleman with gray wavy hair and auburn colored eyes. He is often seen in a black suit and various other formal attire. Very strict when in an urgent matter and he never lets his composure down, even when his students become annoying. He is very loyal to Hanzō. Because of a past incident with his first student, he does not believe in babying his current students or bailing them out of every situation. As a teacher he believes in providing his students with the tools and training they need to succeed so that they may grow into fine shinobi. Though he rarely lets it show, he is quite protective of his students and cares for them deeply.

   Kiriya comes from a long line of elite shinobi, so naturally he himself was trained as a shinobi from birth. He quickly became an elite shinobi like the rest of his family, but at some point he began to question the idea that shinobi were treated as disposable objects if they failed a mission. Disagreeing with the idea that shinobi were disposable, he decided to become a teacher instead. His first student was a girl named Rin, who had a major influence on his current personality and views. When Rin was taking her final shinobi exam, Kiriya intervened against his better judgment to save her from a wooden dummy that she had not noticed, hiding his intervention and saving her from failure. Thanks to this, Rin was able to pass the exam and graduate, but months later, he was informed that she had died during a mission. Kiriya blamed himself for interfering during Rin's exam and allowing her to graduate before she was fully prepared, believing that he was responsible for her death. Rin's death has haunted him ever since, and is why he refuses to help in the battle against Hebijo, believing that if he does not allow his students to grow on their own, the same thing will happen to them as happened to Rin.

   Asuka's grandmother and the wife of the legendary shinobi, Hanzō, Sayuri is a very powerful shinobi in her own right – a former Kagura, in fact. As far as Asuka knows, Sayuri is essentially retired now and rarely leaves the house. In battle, Sayuri wields her wooden pipe, wind-based Ninja Arts, and intense tongue lashings. Sayuri is a old woman, with silver/grey hair and back bun held by a shuriken, and with a revealed forehead. She has small eyes, making it hard to see their color, and have sunglasses held on her forehead, and a smoking pipe in her mouth, usually. She wears a 5-parts finery, with a green long hakama skirt, a white kimono shirt, beige sleeves, and a dark grey jacket, held by a dark brown ribbon as a belt. She wears on her neck a pearl necklace and a shinobi scarf, the same as Asuka's. She is a kind, serious, wise, but also a bit teasing old woman. When most of the time, she is teaching some things about the shinobi world, or dealing with important tasks in the Overseers' team, she tend sometimes to toy with her interlocutors.

   Jasmine: When Sayuri executes her Shinobi Transformation, she temporarily becomes Jasmine, her younger self. Without the ravages of age to hold her back, Jasmine is laser-focused on her mission and can tear through almost any opponent with ease. But youth can't last forever, and every time Sayuri forces it to last a bit longer, she pays a price. When it comes to blows, Jasmine swings a mean pipe, and can also summon the power of extradimensional elephants. Jasmine has waist-length black hair with two framing over her face, hazel colored eyes, and fair skin. She has the same overall morphology as most characters, while she is the tallest of all. Jasmine wears a white headband on her forehead along with yellow lens sunglasses, a red scarf with a big white pearl prayer's necklace. She wears on a yellow sleeveless shirt with white floral design, white collars and black lining. On her arms, her forearms are wrapped with bandages and red and black forearm bracers. In her waist, she wears pure white, slim disco pants with black lining, a black leather belt with a gold buckle, two brown rope-like straps and black disco shoes with short heels. Her weapon is a large kiseru about four feet with gold mouthpiece, chamber and shank while the stem is black and the top stem and upper part of the mouthpiece are wrapped with white cloth and black straps in a crisscross pattern. She tends to criticize the revealing aspect of some characters' clothes or saying a health notice ("Smoking kills") as jokes to her opponents. She proves to be also more energic. Her beliefs stay the same, such as a shinobi must be a heartless, emotion-less killing machine, especially against yōma.

   Keys: Yagyu

   Yagyū - A first-year student at Hanzō National Academy. She’s only just begun her training this year, yet she knows that the shinobi world is ruthless and is fully prepared to accept that way of life. This resolution is born from the considerable power she wields, but it’s approval she seeks above all else; she exists to be acknowledged by her fellow shinobi class members. Although she’s rather taciturn most days, her need for acceptance occasionally causes her to come across as lonely. Being the same age as Hibari, the two of them have formed something of a sisterly bond, making Hibari one of the few people with whom she’ll willingly open up.

   Yagyu is a young girl 16 age with long white hair tied into twin tails held in place by a shuriken. She has red eyes and wears an eyepatch over one; however, the eye she covers is functional. She is usually depicted with an indifferent expression. In her depiction, she wears a pale brown jacket over a white school shirt, a red plaid skirt, brown loafers, and black calf-length stockings. She wears a black robe over her shoulders with a triangular pattern along the trim and two elongated tails. She has a fairly curvy body.

   Yagyū has a stoic and quiet demeanor, usually modest of her own ability, yet still very aware and in tune with it. She is also a very distant person, preferring to keep things to herself and relying on no one. However, she sees Hibari as a little sister figure, the two are always capable of making the other smile. She is extremely protective of Hibari, often rushing to her aid without delay and without question. Though this has saved Hibari on numerous occasions, it has also led Yagyū to underestimate her to a certain degree or even to Yagyū's own misfortune. She also has a habit of eating whole dried squid without chopsticks or her hands.

   Yagyū came from an average shinobi family and had a strong relationship with her younger sister Nozomi. The two were inseparable, with Nozomi admiring Yagyū’s devotion to becoming a shinobi. Unfortunately, Nozomi was involved in a sudden car accident and was taken to the hospital. Although despite the doctors' efforts, her injuries were too severe and she died. Yagyū was deeply hurt by this ordeal, and the solitude that came with it. However, she both knew and feared that the loss of her sister would eventually fade from her memory as time went on. As a means of her never forgetting her younger sister, Yagyū dons an eyepatch crafted from her ribbon, cutting her vision and acting as a permanent reminder of her. Upon her arrival at Hanzō Academy, she came across Hibari, who had such a striking resemblance to Nozomi that she had almost believed she had come back to her. Hibari's cheerful nature quickly overpowered Yagyū and the two quickly became friends. With Yagyū adopting an older sister role with her and seeing Hibari as her best friend that helped her get out of her solitude a little, she's always showing concern for her and being protective of her while also showing that she can't live without her, developing a "sister complex". Although she will not admit it, Yagyū could never live in true solitude, and Hibari would soon become the primary reason she opens herself up to others, namely the rest of her class.

   Secret Ninja Arts: Sweeping Legs - Yagyū holds her bladed umbrella up into the air, then proceeds to spin around. Her guardian, the squid forms from atop the umbrella as she starts to rapidly pick up speed. This causes the squid to smack nearby enemies with its tentacles. Ice Feet - Yagyū leaps into the air and summons a squid, after making several hand signs. As she descends, the squid sends chucks of ice plummeting down on the enemies in front and below her. Demon Slice - Yagyū takes hold of her eye-patch before she removes it, revealing her concealed eye. This eye allows a red, demon-like squid to prod its tentacles out of it as they begin to viciously smack her enemies repeatedly.

   A first-year student at Hanzō National Academy. Her unusual eyes come from a rare family trait known as Kagan, which grants one family member in a generation the power to control others' minds. Being young and awkward, Hibari's still struggling to master that power, along with her other shinobi skills, in order to consider herself worthy of her peers. When she first started school, her fellow first-year Yagyū took her under her wing, and between Yagyū's tutelage and her own determination, she's started to catch up. Despite her struggles, and her occasional mistakes, Hibari has made many friends – more than she thinks she deserves – thanks to her cheerful and genuine personality.

   Hibari is an upbeat girl 16 age with pink hair adorned with three black ribbons that tie it into two pigtails. Her outfit is reminiscent of a student in gym class. She has a light pink track jacket with the Hanzō emblem on the left chest area, dark blue biker shorts, black and white socks, and red and white sneakers. Her eyes are peculiarly dotted with two pink, cross-shaped pupils.

   Hibari is exceedingly innocent, trusting and cheerful. Despite often depending on others, especially Yagyū, Hibari dislikes having to completely rely on others, as it makes her feel like she is holding everyone else behind. Although she often feels like she just isn't cut out for it, she always tries her best to keep up with the others and show just how much she can contribute to the team.

   Hibari comes from a long-standing noble ninja family known as the Kagan Clan, famous for their signature Mystic Eyes of which the clan was named after, the Kagan. Hibari in particular is the youngest daughter of the clan head, and has seven older sisters. Despite her upbringings, Hibari never showed any interest of pursuing the shinobi lifestyle. She instead wanted to open a shop selling sweets for a living. This all changed when Hibari hit puberty and developed Kagan. Since none of her sisters developed the eyes for themselves, Hibari was forced to become the Heiress and was brought into the shinobi lifestyle against her wishes. Despite showing questionable potential as a ninja and messing up quite often, her sisters were always positive and supportive of her. Instead of showing resentment or jealously towards her, her sisters would instead be proud and encouraging, something Hibari never understood and came to think was due to her Kagan. Her mother, on the other hand, was very demanding of Hibari and wanted her to master the Kagan as soon as possible. This caused a permanent rift in their relationship, as Hibari secretly resents her mother for forcing her to abandon her dreams and adopt a lifestyle she never truly wanted. As she got older, Hibari would spend less and less time at home, often going months at a time without coming back simply just to get away from her family and the constant doting of her sisters, and the judgement of her mother. This ultimately resulted in Hibari resenting her family, and the shinobi lifestyle as a whole, though she would never admit this out loud.

   Secret Ninja Arts: Ninto Vroom - Hibari calls out for her rabbit guardian, Ninto, who appears driving a cloud. She jumps on top of the cloud as it charges forward and crashes into the enemies in front of her as the cloud releases lightning. The move stays largely the same in it's previous title. Only now it paralyzes enemies on contact and the charge now carries opponents along its trajectory. Enemies caught by this are unable to move for a set amount of time so this makes a great tool to use for follow up attacks. Butt Go Boom! - Hibari summons Ninto who hops aboard and latches onto her back and uses his impressive jumping capability to take Hibari high into the air. She then uses her ability to enlarge herself and falls on her enemies butt-first, crushing any and all that are within the attack's radius. Crazy Rabbit - Hibari calls the Ninto cloud, possibly to set up Ninto Vroom, but the controls fail to work, so she jumps off of the cloud and takes cover. The cloud rapidly expands and eventually releases four bolts of lightning down on the opponent(s) below.

   Keys: Kagan

   Kagan - he Kagan is a powerful Eye Technique that is exclusive to Hibari's family. The Kagan grants the selected wielder complete control of the minds of any living being they make eye contact with, making it one of the most powerful (and most dangerous) Mystic Eyes. Hibari and Toki are the only known active users.

   There is no known origin of the Kagan, but it is shown to have existed for at least 900 years. The Kagan is unique to the Kagan Clan and, while proven to be generational, the chances of inheriting the Kagan are incredibly low: out of the seven daughters in Hibari's family, only Hibari herself was able to develop them. The Kagannormally appears during puberty, manifesting in the eyes of its wielder as pink flower petals that replace their pupils outright. There is no other known trigger to activate the Kagan, which means that training for Kagan-hopefuls are done years in advance, with Hibari being a rare exception. The rarity of the Kagan means that actual users are few and far in between, and those who are born to a parent with the Kagan but don't develop it themselves are referred to as the derogatory term 'Hananashi' (華無し, meaning Non-Flower) by members of the clan. Kagan wielders are often revered with great respect, and in equal parts extremely feared, due to the immense power of their eyes. Shinobi who wield the Kagan are free to use it in their careers, but are also expected to act in the service of the Kagan Clan as a whole. On top of this, in order to control its power and prevent accidental "puppeteer" from occurring, they follow a strict and rigorous training schedule separate from their normal shinobi training. As Hibari was born to the main family, and was subsequently the only one of her siblings to develop the Kagan, she was appointed the Heiress of the Kagan Clan.

   Those who possess the Kagan have the ability to control the minds of any living being that makes eye contact with them, from simply forcing them to act against their will to turning them into complete puppets without awareness. It can also combat other forms of mind control and possessions. Humans aren't the only ones susceptible to the Kagan — even Yōma can be controlled, including sentient Yōma such as Shura. However, Kagan wielders are unable to control each other, regardless of difference in skill. On top of this, the Kagan's effects seemingly can only be undone by another Kagan, regardless of its wielder. Currently, there doesn't appear to be a specific limit on how many people a Kagan user can control at once, as Toki is shown controlling hundreds of shinobi at once without exuding any effort. Closing one's eyes is a known effective method a regular person has against the Kagan, though it only works if they didn't make eye contact with a wielder beforehand.

   Eye Technique - encompasses a variety of powers contained within the eye, including mind control. Even if it is manifested in one's eyes, it doesn't mean that having particular eyes is possessing an Eye Technique, as many characters of the series do have unique eyes without having any Eye Technique.

    Keys: Devil's Eye

    Devil's Eye is a special type of Mystic Eye that takes negative emotions and transforms them into raw power, empowering the wielder to a great, and often terrifying, extent. The only known wielder of the Devil's Eye is Yagyū.

    Little is known of the Devil's Eye itself, other than that it is fueled by negative emotions. The method of unlocking Devil's Eye is unorthodox and cruel, as the user needs to experience a traumatic event for the process to occur. Its power is shown to be difficult to control, and Yagyū is often hesitant to use Devil's Eye unless as a last resort. Yagyū unlocked her Devil's Eye following the tragic death of her younger sister, Nozomi. Overwhelmed with grief and refusing to let the memories of her sister fade, her right eye mutated into several shades of red, resembling broken blood vessels. Because Yagyū was wearing her makeshift eyepatch when this happened, its destructive power is entirely contained within it. It is implied that Devil's Eye can vary from person to person, and thus no two Devil's Eyes are ever exactly the same.

    There is little information on the true scope of the power and potential of the Devil's Eye. Each variation seems to manifest its power in different ways, and whether Yagyū has truly tapped into the full potential of her own Devil's Eye remains to be seen. The only true constant among Devil's Eye is that it is fueled by negative emotions. Demon Slice is a sub-ability of Yagyū's Devil's Eye, displaying red squid-like tendrils shooting out of her right eye and destroying everything nearby until she covers it again with her eyepatch. No other abilities of Devil's Eye have been shown so far.

    Keys: Fuma

    A descendant of Fūma Kotarō, she comes from a historically righteous and good family. She struggles in school and is a frequenter of supplementary lessons, however she is constantly cheerful and positive. Having the same circumstances as Asuka, she feels a sense of affinity with her. Wielding chains with shuriken attached to them, she excels at long range slashing attacks.

    Fūma 16 years old has short spiked orange hair with a small amount pulled into a ponytail held by a thin white ribbon. Her eyes are a pale golden-brown. She is often depicted with monkey ears and a tail, or with a cheeky expression. Her outfit is composed of a revealing white tank-top lined by thin black stitching and a gold bow on the front and back that matches the bandanna tied around her neck like a scarf. She wears long black fingerless gloves with a strap of dark gold and brown on top of them that ties beneath the arm. A single ring of dull, dark green is below the cuff. For bottoms, she wears plain black spandex shorts and her shoes are black with a brown section on top of them, covering her lower leg. When wearing the Hanzō Academy uniform, Fūma wears a yellow neckerchief - this is one way to determine if she is disguising herself as Asuka. Another noticeable trait will be the small tufts of orange hair on the bottom of her head.

    She is a first year at Hanzō Academy. Using an incident in the past as a motive, she confronts her training with the spirit of Jōzai Senjō in her. She wears her armor for the purpose of protecting her comrades. Be they enemy or friend, she does not forgive anyone who doesn't respect life. Wielding a giant hammer, her fighting style uses large swinging attacks.

    Hijikata 16 years old is a fair-skinned girl with long, light brown hair worn in a low ponytail. Her bangs are grown out and stick up at the center to mostly stay out of her face. Her eyes are azure blue. She wears an outfit reminiscent of a knight composed of a blue top under a red and white vest below her breasts with long white cloth hanging from it. The vest and top are lines in gold, as is the short white pleat skirt beneath them. Covering her upper-chest, arms, hands, and neck is silver armor with gold accenting and boots that match. She wears black tights.

    A 1st Year from Hanzo National Academy, Ayame 16 years old openly harbors a fanatical infatuation towards Katsuragi. She can normally be seen fawning over her or chasing her around in the hopes of being sexually harassed.

    As she idealized Katsuragi her appearance somewhat matches her. Where Katsuragi has blue as her theme color, Ayame uses red. She has very long, loose flowing hair of black with thin bangs. On the side of her hair is a thin red ribbon tied into a bow. Her eyes are deep red. Ayame's outfit is composed of a tight white top with the sleeves rolled past her shoulders and a loose dull red tie. It is buttoned in a way to reveal the center of her chest, stomach, and neck. Her skirt is a plaid design of ruby and peach with pale pink lines all over it. She wears the same iron boots as Katsuragi, but they are red and gold with a single pink bow on it. She wears them with thick white socks. Unlike Katsuragi, she also has on a pair of iron gauntlets with the same coloring as her boots. Her sleeves beneath them match her socks and are held by dull red ribbon.

    Above all else Ayame's own desires take precedence, she's a very relaxed, her pace sort of girl. She greatly admires Katsuragi from the first day she saw her at middle school and follows her everywhere. However, her personality is very different, as she is much more feminine than she is. In other words, she has a very sweet and helpful personality, until she starts to struggle or is provoked or harassed by customers. Besides, Ayame is much more direct than Katsuragi when it comes to dressing up and showing almost everything. She's doing well with her 'I want to harass you' appeal. She wants to kill her past self to move on, which is a very negative way to live.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Rocket Girl - Ayame takes a stance as her gauntlets and iron boots both begin to charge. She then starts out with a quick series of jabs before she ensues an onslaught of rapid kicks; sucking in her opponent. She then proceeds to roundhouse kick followed by a swift uppercut to send the opponent flying. She then jumps up with her fully charged boots and stomps into the ground as her enemy helplessly falls into place for her final attack. Reverse Spindle - Ayame props down on one knee before getting down on all fours to preform a break dance motion. She swings her lower body about whilst maintaining momentum with her arms. She eventually picks up speed and begins to rapidly spin outwardly in a mini tornado; becoming completely mobile at this time. She ends it off with a bursting handstand trying to emulate her senior, only to fall over in failure. Red Scorpion - Ayame summons a shop stall and then starts throwing random items at enemies, ranging from sweets to a rubber duck. Afterwards, she then throws three drawers at the enemy which results in an explosion of panties. The attack can be somewhat aimed with the analog stick.

    She 16 years old has short, boyish cut light blue hair with two large, curled cowlicks. Her eyes are blue. She is normally depicted in a mint pair of pajamas with three black buttons on the torso. They are worn with light brown slippers. Seimei normally appears sleepy with an expression of lifelessness or curiosity. She is often found asleep or ready to fight at a given notice.

    She tragically lost her family and pet dog, which motivated her to attend Hanzō National Academy with the intent of avenging her lost loved ones.

    A 1st year at Hanzō National Academy, she's a cat-ear wearing, mechanized robot. Abandoned on the side of the street, Hibari picked her up. From then on she's lived in Hanzō National Academy. She loves Hibari and wanted to be useful to her, so she became a ninja. However, Yagyū is a bit annoyed by her because she feels that Muramasa is getting in the way of her and Hibari's relationship. She wields massive Vernier on her arms that deliver shocking blows. Using them, she prides herself in aerial movement.

    Muramasa has long blonde hair worn in low pigtails held by dark blue bows. She has a pair of pale brown cat ears and large eyes, one red, one blue. Her joints are detailed with thin lines. Normally Muramusa wears a school uniform with dark blue finger-less gloves and white sleeves, along with a pair of shoes and leg warmers to match. Her weapon is composed of two, very large pale brown and gold metal arms that often change color depending on the element embedded in them. Her outfit when fighting resembles a bathing suit of dark blue accented by white and silver, or white with yellow and black. Muramusa has a fun-loving, childish, innocent personality making her similar to Hibari, Minori, Aimu, and somewhat like Hanabi. She is programmed to have feelings like other girls. Despite her cheerful nature, Muramusa is strong and determined and really wants to make Hibari happy. Muramasa is also quite intelligent and can sense when evil is lurking. She never tried real human food, but prefers oils and solutions. Though she may be a robot, that doesn't make her any different than other good shinobi.

    Prior to meeting Hibari, Muramasa was created by a research corporation controlled by evil shinobi she was created as a result of the lackluster success of their previous project that was supposed to give shinobi technological enhancements which involved fourteen test subjects and out of all of them literally only one test subject was a success, the company went on to a new project: creating robot shinobi with Muramasa being their prototype. However, Tachibana's father discovered the lab she was created in and set her free, gave her a false set of memories regarding her origin, and destroyed the blueprints on how to create her. She would then wander the streets for an unknown period of time before eventually crossing paths with Hibari who brought her to live at Hanzō academy. Considering that she is a robot, she is currently 11 months old.

    A second year student 17 years old at Hanzō National Academy. Her grandfather Hanzō is renowned as a legendary shinobi, and is the academy’s namesake. Given her remarkable pedigree, she has a lot of hidden potential within her and bears a strong sense of justice. No matter how hard she may try, though, she can never quite bring herself to look as intimidating as she wants to, likely due to her overall bright and positive personality. Over time, she’s become a source of immense moral support for her friends and fellow shinobi.

    Asuka is a short girl who has her dark brown hair tied in a ponytail with a white ribbon. In her Shinobi attire, she dons a uniform composed of a yellow vest over a white shirt, and a green plaid skirt to match her tie. Paired with it are black thigh high socks with brown loafers, and on each arm is a guard with bandages beneath them. On her waist are straps to hold her swords, and in this form she continues to wear her short red scarf.

    Deep Shadow Mode: Unlike Homura, Yumi, and Miyabi, Asuka does not undergo any significant aesthetic changes. In this mode her hair is simply let down out of its ponytail and she is surrounded by a green aura. The length of her blades are also increased by this aura.

    Asuka has a joyful and friendly personality and believes in teamwork, sticking together and friendship. She often appears to be gullible or clumsy, but she makes up for it with her determination and earnestness. Due to her grandfather's teachings Asuka has somewhat of a pacifist nature and doesn't believe in fighting or hurting others unless she views it as completely necessary. Because of this, other shinobi from rival factions often view her as naive given the nature of the shinobi profession which ultimately requires them to take lives. She also has a fascination with futomaki rolls and how thick they should be. She gets easily upset when her friends like smaller rolls because she believes that futomaki rolls are supposed to be big and thick.

    Asuka's shinobi heritage comes from her Grandfather Hanzō on her mother's side. Although her mother was a shinobi, her father was not. Originally, her father dreamed and was on the verge of becoming a successful lawyer, however he was charmed by Asuka's mother. Hanzō did not approve of their relationship, and the two constantly fought about it. Asuka's father loved her so much that he was willing to give up his dream of becoming a lawyer, as long as he could be with her. According to him, he didn't need dreams or money if he could spend his life with her. Hanzō was so moved by his resolve and dedication that he could not bear to refuse his proposal, allowed them to get married and decided to open up a sushi shop with Asuka's father. When Asuka was growing up, she had a reputation for getting into fights and beating up boys and girls alike, to which Hanzō told her she was an independent sword, without a compatible shield. At some point, Asuka enlisted in Hanzō National Academy to follow Hanzō's footsteps and to understand the concept of being a sword and a shield. During her first year, Asuka had some trouble keeping up with both Katsuragi and Ikaruga due to her clumsy nature, but she managed to push through and reached her second year with average scores.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Dual Slash - Asuka takes both of her swords and crosses them both in front of her. She then leans forward and in one quick stroke, she jets forward at an alarming speed; uncrossing her swords and slicing any and all enemies that are in her path. Hanzō-Style Full Bloom - Asuka takes a stance as her two swords become coated in a greenish glow. She then dashes forward and unleashes a barrage of slashes on to her enemies. Asuka would then slam both of her swords down, causing sharp rocks to rise up from the ground. The direction can be altered, making it easier to follow after straying enemies nearby. Toad Summon - Asuka makes a series of hand signs, attempting to summon a large toad; which she is later successful. Once summoned, she celebrates and jumps onto the toad's back. However, the toad ignores her commands and acts on its own The toad then leaps into the air with Asuka still holding on for dear life and makes a dive for the opponent(s). Once it lands, it begins to slash wildly with it's tongue, as Asuka flails about trying to keep hold. Deep Shadow - After holding her wakizashis up, Asuka emits a very powerful green light that erupts from the ground below her, which has a small area-of-effect but greatly damages and knocks back any enemies close enough. After the light disappears, Asuka is transformed into Ultimate Asuka, with her hair all loose and her blades spewing out green light out of the handles. With a temporarily altered move-set, Asuka teleports with great slashes from her blades when executing light attacks. When performing heavy attacks, she summons many sharp boulders that erupt from the ground. Asuka can stay in in her Awakened form for twenty seconds before reverting back to normal.

Although she was born in the slums, her remarkable talents drew the attention of the wealthy Houou family organization, who adopted her, named her the heir of their shinobi lineage and granted her custody of the family sword, Hien. Her adopted brother, Murasame, swiftly grew jealous of her skills, and challenged her to duel after duel for her place in line. Torn between her pride and her concern for his feelings, Ikaruga stood her ground, patiently defeating him again and again until he accepted both his place and hers. Since then, he's gone on to a successful career in business, and she's been free to focus on her shinobi studies. Classically trained in both etiquette and swordplay, she carries herself with nobility, and holds her underclasswomen to the same standards of behavior.

    Ikaruga looks refined with long, straight, black hair styled into a hime cut that flows down to her lower thighs. Her slanted eyes are dark blue. Her shinobi outfit consists of a white gold-trimmed jacket with six buttons and a few golden tassels strewn across. She has a Hanzō armband pinned to her upper left arm to signify her status as the class representative. She has a short gold-trimmed white skirt along with white gloves and boots of similar colors to her jacket, accentuated by black tights underneath.

    Ikaruga holds the responsibility of being the leader of a five girls strong shinobi team. Usually a calm individual, she can become highly agitated by Katsuragi's lecherousness. Like Katsuragi, she hides her sadness behind her cool exterior, but the love of her fellow shinobi have helped to soften the pain of her wounds. Needless to say, she works excellently in a team. She also has a knack for cooking and enjoying traditional Japanese cuisine, going so far as to make her own dishes such as the Sweet Squid Ramen Roll (a combination of futomaki sushi, ramen, squid, and sweets).

    Ikaruga comes from a lesser, distant branch of a rich and noble shinobi clan whose outward appearance is that of a large zaibatsu known as the Phoenix Conglomerate. Because their only son, Murasame lacked sufficient talent as a ninja, they were in in a very desperate situation. After being alerted of a distant relative who showed great promise as a ninja, Ikaruga was adopted by them, and inherited the family treasure Hien, which earned her the resentment of her new older brother. Because of this, she harbors large amounts of guilt, feeling partially responsible for ruining his dream of being the heir to the family's shinobi legacy. This problem has also affected her behavior. By the time she enlisted in Hanzō National Academy, she became distant from others as she created walls around herself and felt nothing but loneliness. She encountered Katsuragi in the same Ninja Studies class and the two didn't get along with one another right away. However, as the two interacted more often and understood one another, Ikaruga's behavior slowly started to alter as she started to realize that she isn't lonely at all.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Hien Hōsen: Mode One - Ikaruga takes a stance and, in on swing, causes Hien to slash about in a frenzy of precise cuts. The damage takes affect after the sheathing of her sword. This attack now has strong suction that draws in enemies to the center of the attack, before being tossed by a forceful shock-wave. Oukaensen - Ikaruga holds her blade to her side, before swinging and sending a phoenix flying out in front of her. It catches all enemies and carries them until the move collides with a wall, dealing multi-hit damage for as long as they remain trapped in the attack. This attack moves in a liner direction, however, unlike most linear attacks, avoiding this one may prove difficult. The wingspan of the Phoenix is great and has far superior reach than most other launch attacks. Zekka Hōōsen - Ikaruga calls upon her guardian, a large phoenix made of blue fire, whom which flies up, makes a nosedive, and is absorbed into Hien. The sword is then immersed in a blue aura as she then slashes rapidly at her enemies with it. To finish, Ikaruga slashes one last time with her sword before sheathing it back as the enemy falls. The direction and angle of this move, though stationary, can be changed as the move progresses. Zekka Hoōsen Yomishiki - Ikaruga unsheaths Hien, tosses the sheath up in the air, and places both hands on its handle. From there, the sword is immersed in a fiery blue aura as it extends and elongates in size. She then takes the sword and strikes down one time, creating a long beam that splits through the middle and travels outward towards the enemies.

    A third-year student 18 years old at Hanzō National Academy. She’s over-the-top and easily moved to tears, yet she has an older sister-like demeanor that’s thoroughly endeared her to the other members of her class. She's best known for her bold, excitable personality... and her "dirty old man"-like tendency to grab her classmates' breasts. Despite that habit, she fits in with her friends as a "big sister" alongside Ikaruga and is always ready with a word of advice... even if that advice usually involves where to stand so they're easier to reach. However, she does not like being sexually harassed, and becomes more disgusted and embarrassed than the other girls when she is stared at or touched. In the bath, she said to Ikaruga that she was " I like touching other girls' bodies, but I'm not used to having someone touch my body, so I feel embarrassed.." and when Haruka and Ayame touched her body, she felt so embarrassed that she almost cried. With all that said, she does have a serious side. Her parents, both shinobi who refused to carry out a certain assassination mission, are now fugitives under the constant threat of death. Katsuragi's singular goal as a shinobi student is to rise through the ranks, eventually gaining enough prestige within the shinobi world that she can have her parents pardoned. To that end, she kicks her way through her opposition with a pair of special, heavy boots.

    Katsuragi has long, soft blonde hair worn with a blue headband that has a ribbon on each side of the head. Her bright eyes match, and she is usually depicted with perverted expressions. Her turnover outfit is simplistic; composed of her usual white Hanzō school uniform, unbuttoned, revealing most of her torso underneath; particularly her breasts. Along with a blue plaid skirt, she wears long socks and her signature black and gold metal boots adorned with small blue tassels on either side, serving as her combat weapon of choice.

    When Katsuragi was still a little girl, she lived a normal life while playing with her pet dog, Choco. Her parents were both shinobi as they fulfilled missions that were issued to them by the higher ups. However, one day, both of Katsuragi's parents failed at one particular mission and were told to give up their lives as punishment. To avoid getting Katsuragi involved, the two decided to become renegade shinobi and ran away while abandoning Katsuragi. Feeling sad and abandoned, Katsuragi thought to herself and decided that she will become a strong shinobi in order to atone for her parents' crimes while hoping that she'll be reunited with her family someday. At some point, she enlisted in Hanzō National Academy. During her first year, she encountered a student that goes by the name of Ikaruga. As much as she tries to interact with her, Ikaruga ignores her. This annoyed Katsuragi to no end as she tries to get along with her. As they interact with one another, Katsuragi learned why Ikaruga has been acting the way she has been, which caused her to remind herself on how lonely she's been since her parents left her behind. As the two started to understand one another, they eventually started becoming friends. During her second year, she and Ikaruga helped another student, Asuka get through her first year in the Academy. However, during a training session, there was an accident that caused Ikaruga to injure Asuka. Katsuragi figured that Ikaruga was still bothered by something, so she asked her to come to an open field, where the two will fight one another to be able to escape from their problems. After the fight, the two were able to escape and their friendship was solidified.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Cross Panzer - Katsuragi's metal boots begin emitting a green energy that spins around them like a whirlwind, suspending her slightly in the air. She charges towards the enemy with great speed and launches into a fierce barrage of kicks, ending with her jumping high into the air and slamming her foot down on her enemies. Tornado Spindle - Katsuragi crouches down and balances herself on her hands. She begins to spin around like a break-dancer and whips up a tornado as she does so, obliterating any enemy caught in it. Dead Screw Dragon - Katsuragi leaps into the air while pointing both of her feet outwardly. Then, she begins spinning towards her enemies like a drill, releasing wind that coats her entire body. Following that, a dark green long-bodied dragon would revolve around her as she spun. Like in Deep Crimson, Katsuragi would drill straight up into the air, now with the dragon following suit, sending her enemies flying as she lands safely back to the ground.

Her devastating, air-slicing fighting style focuses on attacking her enemies head-on.

    Daidoji is a tall, muscular woman with long, flowing black hair and reddish-brown eyes. She wears a tattered gakuran with a cap and metal epaulettes, a rope belt, and a pair of tengu-geta. She wraps her chest in sarashi and her wrists in bandages typical of open-handed fighters.

    Daidoji has a very distinctive personality: "Strike first, ask questions as you strike." She has a strong sense of justice, viewing her old high school sweetheart and best friend Rin more as a rival than a mortal enemy. Despite losing every match to her, she is only eager to try again the next day.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Heaven and Earth Thundering Spiral Leg - Daidoji takes a stance before charging in. She kicks both legs repeatedly before launching herself into the air with one kick and immediately jumping back with another. Heaven and Earth Flash War Wild Tiger Fist - Daidoji connects both hands before bringing them back and focusing all of her energy into a single palm strike. She then unleashes a destructive wave of energy in the shape of an open-mouthed tiger, pushing back all enemies in its path. This move can still be channeled as before. Its power and range have increased. Plus, the initial attack sucks in nearby enemies and sends them flying along with the rest. Dragon Ball Fist of the Thunder God of Heaven and Earth - Daidoji takes a stance before charging forward at her enemies and cornering them with a flurry of punches and kicks. After cornering them, she throws them into the air and begins to punch them furiously; increasing in speed and power as the attack progresses. Finishing the move with a powerful slam to the ground, stalagmite-shaped rocks erupt from beneath her, covering a huge area and sending enemies around her flying.

    'Homura's Crimson Squad' is a shinobi group consisting of former members from Hebijō Academy. Led by Homura, who became a renegade when she killed Dōgen, they live in a cave to hide from their pursuers.

    After the Hebijo's Castle siege by Hanzo, and Orochi first form's defeat, the five former Hebijō Elites chose to abandon Hebijo's because of the catastrophe they failed to prevent, rather than suiciding as in the organization's rules, making them renegades and traitors to Hebijo's. Together on the run, they live as renegades, eking out a menial living by day, keeping one eye open every night, watching for other shinobis like Miyabi to not find them.

    Homura: Leader and former second-year shinobi from Hebijo. Yomi: Former second-year shinobi from Hebijō. Hikage: Former third-year shinobi from Hebijō. Mirai: Former first-year shinobi from Hebijō. Haruka: Former third-year shinobi from Hebijō.

    Keys: Homura

    A former second-year student 17 years old at Hebijo Clandestine Girls’ Academy who wound up killing Dōgen, the main investor of Hebijo, and must now live as a fugitive with the rest of her class. She is grateful to her friends and relentless toward her rivals, but respects and admires the strong regardless of their affiliation. Her fighting style involves wielding six swords at once and in crimson mode she uses swords know as Engetsuka.

    Normal: Homura has tanned skin and her dark brown hair is tied in a long ponytail with a white ribbon, the ends of the ribbon standing straight up. She wears a short black dress that looks similar to her old Hebijo uniform, and covers it with a small, light grey jacket, with samurai leg armor on each side. Around her neck is a long black cape with white trim. Crimson Mode: In addition to six katana which she wields at the same time, she carries a Nodachi known as Engetsuka on her back that she only uses when in her Crimson mode. In her Crimson mode, Homura's appearance changes ever so slightly. That being that her hair is now dyed red/orange (crimson) color and is let from its usual ponytail state. Her eyes also change color, where they become red to accommodate her red hair.

    At the surface of her appearance, Homura has a rather cool demeanor to her upon interaction. She can be calm until a present situation calls for her to get serious. She's not one for conversation as she believes that actions speak louder than words. She also follows the ideal from her former sensei, Rin, that silence is a shinobi's best weapon.

    She can become rather impatient at times and tends to display headstrong qualities when trying to solve a present problem. Her desire to get things done tends to land her in awkward situations, especially if it is concerning Hanzō. This normally leads to her saying the complete opposite of what she truly means and is often teased of this by her comrades; being called a mindless thinker who often doesn't want others to know how she feels; especially by Haruka.

    When fighting, she becomes very intense and focuses mainly on testing her opponent's strength to see them worthy of even fighting. This is especially displayed towards her heated rivalry with Asuka. When fighting a well versed enemy, Homura can become ruthless and is not afraid to kill another if presented the chance/reason.

    Homura has shown to have trust issues due to her history of being a shinobi. She does not like being deceived but accepts the fact that it can be used as a tool in the shinobi world. Her own relationship with her comrades was not always strong, seeing as how none of them trusted her or even liked each other for that matter. However, leading to the incident that forced Homura into exile, her relationship grew stronger with her comrades as they chose to follow instead of abandoning her. Now Homura has a strong urge and responsibility to become a strong enough leader so that she can not only lead her team but protect them as they grow to become fearsome shinobi.

    She has also shown she has a very poor grasp at the concept of humor as her sense of humor is that she makes poses of sea creatures such as crabs, shrimp, etc. while saying the name of the creature she is doing, even using her swords for the pose.

    Homura was originally a good shinobi. She hailed from a prestigious shinobi clan and so the life of a shinobi would quickly ensue. Ever since her first year of Elementary school she had been training to become a powerful shinobi and wanted to be the best there was. Every day she had been training and under a lot of pressure from her parents. Eventually, the stress had built up. Her teacher in Middle School was a kind male University graduate. Her teacher was a sort of 'oasis' for her. He would listen to her talk about pointless things, etc. He was a 'special existence' to Homura. During her second year, she talked to the teacher about her plans after Middle School. She revealed herself being from a shinobi clan to him, seeing as how she thought he was the only one she could trust with this knowledge to keep secret. Upon receiving this information her teacher then attacked her, revealing to be an evil shinobi tasked with finding out her clan's secret. Homura was quite shocked from this, but refused to believe the man she trusted to be so cruel. He'd further tell her he never cared to hear about her pointless talks and was only using her naivety to get close to her. Due to the shock of learning this, Homura snapped. She remembers nothing that happened after that other than a blood stained teacher's face. She says if she hadn't met that evil shinobi she might have been able to become a normal good shinobi student. She was disowned by her parents and forced to leave her home because of this act. All she had was the sword said to be her family's heirloom to take with her and a broken heart. Betrayed by the person she trusted and disowned by her parents, she wandered the streets; later confronted by a woman whom offered her the option to join Hebijo, stating that "The past doesn't matter, Hebijo welcomes anyone. Evil shinobi are more tolerant than good ninja." And thus she became the second year Hebijo elite, Homura.

    She is always cool, and her strength is top class. She is very severe and strict with her students, not believing in the word "mercy".

    As a teacher of Hebijo, she appeared to be tall, with her red-framed glasses on, every time whenever she is on school grounds. When teaching, she wears a tight black miniskirt with black stockings rimmed with black paisley, attached to a garter belt. She also wears a long-sleeved, classy, white dress shirt which reveals much of her bust; while wearing a black camisole underneath.

    Being both a teacher and a shinobi, Rin is a calm, collected woman who barely ever expresses emotion among her companions. She shows much wisdom when it comes to the subject of yōma and battling them, as she was once nearly killed by them. She does, however, show emotions around her Hebijo Elites and Crimson Squad, as well as with Kiriya and Daidōji. Rin had been known not to believe in the word "mercy" where she brutally trains her students with no remorse for their safety unless extreme circumstances are presented, such as when fighting yōma and shinobi that are way out of her students' league. However, 300 hours underwater and country-mile sprints are child's play in her book.

    When she transforms, she dons a tight sleeveless shirt that starts exposing her stomach that is connected to a piece that covers her nose and mouth. Around her neck is a red triangular shaped scarf with white triangle marks and white dots inside of the triangles. She also wears baggy red pants with knee-length black high-top sandals, with a gray cloth wrapped around her waist. Black panties are exposed underneath the cloth and pants.

    Rin was a former student that attended Hanzō Academy, under the direction of Kiriya, and whose skill rivaled that of Daidōji. She trained very hard, hoping to attain a dream of becoming what she referred to as a Super Ninja. She wasn't very much meant to graduate however because during her exam, she was "saved" by Kiriya who took out a dummy that had snuck up on her. She decided to defect from Hanzō Academy after an incident where many thought she was dead, and then reappeared as Suzune, the teacher of Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy. After she graduated from Hanzō Academy, she was assigned a seriously dangerous mission by the state, which sent her to seaside cavern. A team of good ninja was sent along with a Kagura to kill yōma, though it only took minutes for the monsters to decimate the entire team, with Rin as the only survivor. Though an evil ninja team was sent and they killed every yōma, Rin's young arrogance was shattered by her defeat, causing her to do nothing but cry while she recuperated in the hospital. While recovering, she decided not to return to Hanzō Academy a failure, and luckily the President of Hebijo Academy, Miyabi's father offered her a teaching position at Hebijo. Though Rin told him her origins as a good ninja, she fixated into her memory the phrase, "Good accepts few, evil accepts all," the creed of Hebijo Academy.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Stormy Giant Swing - Rin completely opens one of her fuuma shuriken and holds it forward, allowing it to quickly rotate and generate a violent vortex of turbulence that damages the enemy. She uses her free hand to generate energy before pushing it towards the center of the rotating shuriken and causing a forceful impact that blows enemies within range away. Luminous Kaleidoscope - Rin opens both of her fuuma shuriken and begins to make them rotate around her body, forming a turbulent vortex that both sucks in and damages everything within range. She finishes the art off by bringing her shuriken back into her hands with a graceful leap into the air before she comes back down with a strike down the middle. Absolute Void: Rapid Slash - Rin places her fuuma shuriken on her arms, tucked under her shoulders to mimic wings as she calls upon her Guardian Hawk. She and the Hawk dash towards the enemy and attack them numerous times at a blinding speed. Unlike in Shinovi Versus, this is a two part attack that also sends enemies up into the air when initiating the second stage.

    A former 17-year-old second-year student at Hebijou Secret Girls' Academy. Growing up in the slums, she developed both a desire to live in a wealthy home and a deep-seated hatred for those privileged enough to be born into wealth. With no siblings of her own, she thinks of the other girls in the Red Squad as her sisters, especially Mirai. She has managed to master a wide range of weapons, from a broadsword to a crossbow, and uses them all with impeccable precision. She also has an extreme love (and in many cases, an obsession) for bean sprouts.

    Yomi is a fair skin girl with long blonde hair with a small green clip in it. Her outfit is somewhat reminiscent of a maid. She wears a teal green dress with a white slip underneath. The top of her dress only comes up to the bustline, and a single white collar wraps around her neck. On her arms, she has long white gloves and green diamond-shaped arm sleeves with white frill underneath. Around her waist is a small white apron with shuriken pattern on them, and a belt that holds a brown bag and a strip of replacement darts for her crossbow weapon. She wears a teal beret with a large white bow on the back of it and an even larger bow on the back of her dress. Under her dress is a pair of white stockings covered by long brown boots with black bows at the top, and her signature giant broadsword rests on her back.

    Yomi is a well-mannered individual who shows deep compassion for those of less fortunate backgrounds like herself. Despite her pleasant demeanor, there is a significant gap between her polite tone of voice and what she's actually saying, as she's known for savage verbal abuse; her refined demeanor masks her aggressive and unpredictable side. She came from the slums and harbors both great hate and envy for prosperous houses/families. She deems those born with a silver spoon in their mouths as fragile people who don't know the true hardship and suffering of the less fortunate. Be that as it may, Yomi is seen to be quite pretentious.

    As stated before, she harbors both hatred and great envy of the rich and wealthy. She does not see a need for large amounts of money (as noted when she turned down Haruka's offer of 10,000 yen and requested only 20 yen in its place), but still believes that money itself can fix any and all problems (having told Yumi that "money is her idea of justice"). She also tends to be cheap (or, as she calls it, "being frugal") with the group's money, spending what is necessary or--if possible--not spending at all.

    She has a strange appreciation for bean sprouts, as this is the main ingredient in most dishes she cooks for her comrades. She favors wild grass and other plant life that grows on the mountain where their base is located, but would not turn down a meal if presented to her (and if it's free). she catches and prepares fish for her team to eat and reveals she enjoys seafood.

    She is shown to occasionally lie to benefit herself or others.

    Due to living impoverished most of --if not all-- her life and currently as a renegade, Yomi's convinced that all shinobi must live simply and only require the simplest of food, clothing, and shelter. Her Shinobi's Girl Hearts demonstrate her zeal for her so-called "Poverty Revolution" as she finds and informs her peer shinobi of their frivolous habits and how to correct them. When they object to her austere suggestions, Yomi imposes her beliefs by force and confiscates anything and everything she deems problematic. Still, she maintains that only shinobi must live minimally and doesn't care if non-shinobi indulge in luxuries such as owning more than one outfit, eating more than one meal a day, or even eating extravagant meals such as ramen.

    Despite this, Yomi has a very motherly persona when it comes to taking care of the needs of her comrades. She likes to cook and clean, as well as tend to them if injured. She feels as though her comrades are family and shares a deep connection with all of them.

    Yomi has lived most of her life growing up in the slums and harbors a great deal of hatred for people who are complacent with life. She has watched her own parents die due to their poverty. While eating lunch outside, she saw on TV that Ikaruga's adoptive father was giving a great deal of aid to overseas countries. This shifted Yomi's hatred towards Ikaruga. Yomi doesn't know all the details, but it seems her parents scrimped and saved enough money for her to live a decent life, at the cost of their own lives. Her parents died before she graduated from elementary school. She later joined the former elite class of Hebijo as its third member after the slum dwellers recommended her to Hebijo. While in Hebijo, Yomi received her inheritance and donated it to the children of the slums. In the Hanzou Arc, even until the end, she held onto her hatred, but in the Hebijo Arc, due to a certain item, she and Ikaruga eventually became friends. In Deep Crimson, she is initially hostile towards Ikaruga, fighting her in Hebijo Castle, however, when Ikaruga reveals to Yomi the secret of her adoption and true parentage, she changes her mind slightly. Despite coming to respect her, Yomi still has trouble opening up to Ikaruga due to their social differences. However, the two eventually manage to overcome their barriers and become friends.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Sigmund - Yomi lifts her large sword overhead and then charges energy into it. Her sword then extends and becomes massive from its original size before tilting back and slamming it into the ground; thus releasing waves of intense pressure on any and all enemies.This is a stationary attack, as well as linear. However, it's range and power allow it to strike any enemies within close proximity of the attack. Niflheim - Yomi fires several shots from her crossbow weapon and then finishes with a shot from her large bomber-type weapon. In Senran Kagura Shinovi versus, she fires both bomber projectiles and crossbow weapons at the same time. Ragnarök - omi causes her sword to become even larger and starts to spin around, generating a large tornado that picks up speed while greatly damaging enemies that are caught in it.

    Engetsuka is a mysterious and powerful red long ninjatō that is currently in the possession of Homura. Homura always uses this sword in conjunction with her Crimson mode.

    Engetsuka is a family heirloom that Homura was given by her parents before they abandoned her. However, Homura couldn't draw the blade initially. According to Homura, the reason was because she was physically and mentally unable to do so at first. It was not until she understood the value of trusting others expressed deep passion for her comrades that she was finally able to unsheathe it.

    Usually sheathed, Engetsuka is much longer than Homura's six black short ninjatōs and is wrapped in bandages at the hilt. The long hilt itself, along with its scabbard, is also colored in a deep crimson while the blade itself is of a shiny metal.

    The blade seems to give Homura the ability to summon and manipulate fire, as well as the power to levitate and attack with her six other ninjatōs telepathically.

    A former 18-year-old third-year student at the secret Hebijou Girls' Academy. She is expressionless and mostly taciturn, to the point where no one can quite tell what she is thinking. She claims to have no emotions, but she is surrounded by friends who are frank and straightforward with their feelings, giving her an almost scientific curiosity about the very concept of human emotion. Her weapon of choice is a knife, which she wields with grace and aplomb.

    Hikage is a pale skin girl with medium length green hair and amber eyes in a furtive or feral glance and an emotionless expression. She tends to stick her tongue out when on the prowl. She wears a dingy torn up yellow and black striped shirt with a snake patterned and black frill trim that is very short, stopping at the bust line, showing a lot of cleavage. Because of this, it can only properly cover one of her shoulders. She has thin necklaces around her neck, and black leather constricts going down her arms and legs, which carry knives. Her blue jeans have gashes and rips. The zipper is down and the belt unbuckled, with leather constricts below the knees and a red snake pattern on the left thigh. She has snake tattoos on her left hip and breast, and her neck.

    Hikage rarely, if ever, displays emotion and when she does, it is to a very low degree. She herself states that the best way to describe her is a "cicada husk". Because of this, her mood is hard to read. She also has a very apathetic and languorous demeanor and when faced with a problem, she usually tends to space out, losing herself in thought. Often though, she just is outright oblivious to everything going on around her, usually landing her in peculiar situations. She tends to just go with the flow of things, curious as to how everything plays out. She tries her best to make up for her lack of expression by being vocal and explicit about her thoughts and opinions, often making her come across as socially awkward. She is also very frank and honest about things, stating things the way she sees them, sometimes coming off as rude or inconsiderate of others feelings. Although Hikage doesn't understand emotions, she does have the strong desire to understand them. Originally, Hikage never gave them a second thought, stating that their fleeting nature always struck her as a "pain in the ass". However, she starts shows personal interest in them after meeting Katsuragi, stating that she has never felt so alive while fighting her. Thus paving a new path for her to take on.

    Hikage had emotional problems even as a child. She never knew who her parents were, and grew up in an orphanage. There, the other children would often make fun of her expressionless face, calling her names like "dead face". Feeling uncomfortable, she eventually left the orphanage at the age of 8, hitting the streets on her own, and eventually getting involved with a gang of thugs thanks to the gang's leader, Hinata, who Hikage clung to like a lost puppy. Hinata always doted on her, becoming a big influence on her, practically becoming her surrogate mother. Hinata would always stick up for Hikage, telling her that it was okay if she was expressionless, that's what makes her who she is. After an incident in which members of their gang got on bad side with a rival gang, countless members were killed. Hinata personally went to resolve the issue and see if she could gain their forgiveness, but never returned. After days of waiting and searching, Hikage eventually found her lifeless, mutilated corpse lying in a dumpster in an alley. For the first time, Hikage showed emotion, a feeling she could only describe as a drop in her heart, a rain inside her. Hikage was in tears. The knife she wielded belonged to Hinata herself, Hikage kept it and held it carefully, as if Hinata's spirit still lived within it. Likely due to her criminal connections, Hikage was recruited into Hebijou Academy, where she quickly became a member of the Elite Class in her first year. She was the second member to join the Elite Class, while Haruka was the first.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Shanking - Hikage takes out multiple smaller knives and puts them in between her fingers and one in her mouth. Then, without warning, she dashes forward and unleashes a fierce barrage of slashes onto her enemies. The finish is with her stabbing forth with her main knife which extends outwardly in a straight line. Gouging - Hikage crouches down before dashing forward with her main knife. The blade then extends as she begins to swing it about like a whip, damaging any and all enemies caught within the barrage. It is good for reducing numbers of large crowds of enemies. Pure Bliss - Hikage creates a pulse of energy, damaging and knocking back all enemies around her and enters Frenzy Mode.

    Hikage enters Frenzy Mode after using her Pure Bliss. Her range is drastically improved and her attacks show her swiping instantaneously from place to place as she attacks. Hikage will leave Frenzy Mode after a given amount of time. For the duration of Frenzy Mode, Hikage is unable to damage the opponents outfit and is unable to use Secret Ninja Arts until it ends.

    A former 16-year-old first-year student at Hebijou Secret Girls Academy. She strives to achieve the appearance of a mature adult; unfortunately, her immature nature leaks out a little more often than she cares to admit. She despises being ignored, and while she tries to accept her small chest size, her insecurities are just another thing that makes her feel less of a "real woman" due to the impressive proportions of her classmates. Her umbrella is a concealed firearm, and she hides her other heavy weapons under her skirt.

    Mirai is a short black haired girl in gothic lolita fashion. She wears a black, white and dark teal frilled dress and bonnet with cat ears, cat tail, and what looks like black angel wings on her back. She wears white stockings and black dress shoes with black ring anklets with cat heads. She carries a European style umbrella that matches her dress in design, and like Yagyū, she wears a black eye-patch with red tomoe over her left eye (Yagyū's is on the right).

    Mirai is a short tempered individual and has a pathological hating of being ignored by others and will go to extreme lengths to make her presence known. Though she wants desperately to be seen as an adult, she does often act like a little girl. She also has a severe case of breast envy, gets agitated when there are those bustier than her, but is not afraid to mock those who also have a flat chest, like Ryōbi. Despite this, however, Mirai is quite the opposite of what she outwardly displays. Mirai is actually very timid and is deathly afraid of what others think about her. Because of her history of always being picked on, Mirai tends to suffer from low self esteem. At times where she has felt the others mistreat her, she'd often runs away in a panic and tries to hide. She's also developed a defense mechanism for this; having random outbursts and yelling at others for treating her a certain way. Despite all this, Mirai is still a generally nice person. She cares very much for her comrades as they have gone out of their way to make her feel that she belongs. She feels especially close to Haruka and Homura (Haruka being the ideal, proper lady she wishes to grow up being; Homura as an older sister-ish role model.)

    Since her youth, Mirai has been bullied, causing her to distrust others and develop an inferiority complex due to her breasts. She sought out friends in the Hebijou BBS, and was the last member to join the former Hebijou Elite Class. After the impact of the raid on Hanzo Academy which turned into a disaster, feeling like she was about to go crazy during the event, she thought that she might end up hurting her friends. To prevent this, she ran away from Hebijou; however, her friends, particularly Hikage and Homura, caught up with her and told her how much they loved her.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Valkyrie - Mirai lifts up her long layered dress, where it bulges and later revealing a large gun. From there, Mirai waves her hand and gives the command for the gun to start shooting a row of large, purple energy bullets all at once. Wolfsschanze - Several gun-like turrets that form around Mira's waist and begin to levitate. They soon begin to spontaneously fire all at once as Mirai thrusts forward and rams right into her enemies. She pushes them off into a corner until she reaches a halt. From there, her guns raise up and point towards the enemies, unleashing a barrage of bullets on to them. Landkreuzer - Mirai lifts her dress, allowing the head of a, soon be revealed, cannon fall out completely before gracefully landing atop it. She holds her umbrella up and several large guns protrude from it on all sides. On her signal, all of the weaponry fires at once. It has both great range and power to ensure it leaves its mark on enemies. The angle and direction can be adjusted while firing, giving her an extra edge when placed in large battle terrain. Mirai Schmidt - Mirai lifts her dress and summons a mini fighter jet. She hops up and latches to the tail wing of the plane and starts her barrage of purple hell; unleashing heat seeking missiles and consecutive fire from bullets. To finish it off, Mirai flies straight up into the air and releases a small nuke-like bomb that explodes and leave the imprint of a black cat. This move can be maneuvered about the general field, making it easier to keep a lock on targeted enemies.

    A former 18-year-old third-year student at the secret Hebijou Girls' Academy. She is a sadist who acts like the queen of the castle, and her favorite thing in the world is to tease the weak. But despite this, she cherishes the feelings of her juniors and acts almost like a mother to them. Although she and her four friends follow the path of evil, she tries to keep an open mind and nurture them so that they do not succumb to the inevitable sadness that usually accompanies their lifestyle choices. She uses chemical weapons and puppetry, hiding the inner workings of her strategies under her white coat.

    Haruka has blonde hair that is curled at the ends with a large pink bow on top. She wears what resembles pink and white lingerie with the bottom of her breasts left uncovered and a diamond shaped opening revealing her cleavage. On her legs and arms are white garments, and she wears a thin white bottom with simple pink high heels. On her back is a large white lab coat lined with many different vials filled with hazardous chemicals.

    Haruka is a sophisticated young lady who finds the utmost pleasure in toying with her opponents. She treats her enemies like they are toys and is shown to be quite a dominatrix. Haruka likes to pick on weaker people, this explains why she seems to have her eyes on Hibari. She is a very hard person to read and enjoys messing with the feelings of other people. Despite this, like the others, she has been shown to be quite considerate and caring towards those she considers her friends.

    Her mother treated her obsessively, keeping her at home all the time and treating her like a doll. Her father, who was an influential doctor, was corrupt and had a bunch of affairs. Haruka's troubled life drove her to the point where she wanted to burn down her house. Rin intervened and stopped her. Soon after, she taught her the skills of puppetry. With these skills, she forced her father to come forward and confess his corruption. After that, she effortlessly (i.e., she had crazy skills) entered Hebijo. She was the first member to join the Elite Class, and was already a 3rd year by the time the others joined.

    Secret Ninja Arts: DEATH×KISS - Haruka blows a kiss, releasing several hearts towards enemies. these hearts inflict several damaging effects such as freeze, burn, zap, and poison all at once. They also bounce off of other nearby enemies that come into contact with those that are already under the heart's affects. Heart Vibration - Haruka's puppet kneels down to let Haruka get on board. Now atop its back, Haruka commands the robot to charge forward and unleash a viscous hell unto her enemies. The robot proceeds to slamming its large metal claws into the ground, crushing any and all that are in its path. The World is Mine - Haruka pulls out test tubes from her lab coat and throws them in all directions; generating several small dimensional spheres. They hit the surrounding area of where she stands and have various effects on enemies if and when struck.

    Keys: Gessen Girls' Academy

    Gessen Girls' Academy is a super-elite school for good shinobi attended by the girls of famous shinobi families.

    The Academy was established during the Azuchi-Momoyama Period, so the students' families have all amassed immense wealth over the generations. As such, the facilities are particularly high-class, with an immaculate Japanese-style garden situated between the buildings.

    Uniforms: The surface of the uniform consists of a gray sailor uniform blazer, gray skirt, and black pantyhose. Underneath it all is a white dress that is layered over by a low neckline black shirt with long sleeves. Scrolls: The students all have gray scrolls with pink floral print.

    Garden: Leading up to the school are multiple flights of stone steps decorated with traditional styled lamps. Right before reaching the main building which has an old-fashioned gate with double-doors and a torii, there is an open area separating the previous flight of steps and the steps which lead to the front gate. The Academy on the outside takes on somewhat octagonal shape and is several stories high. The building is built of gray stone and has a number of windows decorating the front of the building on each floor. The courtyard of the school is a rock garden surrounded by lamps with a stone path going straight through the middle and connected to the stone stairs which lead up to the to the doors of the school.

    Rooftop: The rooftop of the Academy is a wide and open area with a number of pillars that contain lamps. It is located in the very center of the surrounding buildings. The outer circumference has a stone surface and a metal fence circling around it to enclose the roof, as well as several lounge chairs circling around the lower half near the school's entrance. Towards the center all the way to the very front the is large stage-like area with a wooden surface with connected steps

    First Floor: The first floor is a wide a wide area with an octangular shape. It has red wall and wooden floors with red carpet going straight through the middle. From the entrance one can see the cherry blossom tree in the middle of a small rock garden on the center platform which is connected to the main platform by two moon bridges on the left and right sides. In the open cavity surrounding the two platforms, there a stream of water flowing on the bottom surface. In the upper left and right hand corners of the area there are rooms which have noren dividers in the doorway. Additionally, between these areas is the area that contains the stairwell which leads further up into the school building.

    Second Floor: The second floor is similar to the first floor. It retains it's octangular structure, red walls, and dual wooden and red carpet floor. There are also yellow ceiling lamps hanging from up top and lounge. This entire floor has rooms which have green noren in the doorways. It is possible to see the other floors by looking out of the window frame.

    Third Floor: The third floor is similar to the second floor. The only difference being that the noren are purple instead of green and the floor is white stone with a gold-trimmed red carpet through the center. The ceiling is also different -- having a white stone look instead of wooden.

    Ninja Room: Gessen has a traditional Japanese styled Ninja Room. The walls and carpet are red, while the sliding doors vary in color -- each having it's own traditional styled portrait of nature and time of day on it. The Ninja Room itself is actually raised and has water flowing under it. On the far left side of the room with chairs -- most likely where they eat as there are cabinets that contain dishes behind it. There are two moon bridges leading towards two separate sliding doors -- one with a portrait of night time and the other with a portrait of day time. At the front top of the right side there is a gold partition placed on a wide tatami mat. Behind the partition are two gray gargoyle statues, and on the tatami mat there are three pink zabuton neatly stacked on each other. On the left side of the partition there is a sliding door that has a portrait of dusk. On the left there are two rooms separated by purple and green noren. At the bottom of the right side there is a rock garden with stepping stones and two tōrō. On the upper-left hand corner there are moss covered rocks and a fountain that has a shishi-odoshi. The bottom-right has a red lounger with a matching parasol attached to it.

    A 16-year-old first-year student at Gessen Girls' Academy. She uses the gyaru language and makes friends everywhere she goes, often sending them messages at inappropriate times. Despite her shinobi training and discipline, she has not forgotten her younger days as a carefree rich girl and still misses her parents greatly. To soothe her grief for both her parents and her adoptive grandfather Kurokage, she often recites the Heart Sutra to herself.

    Shiki has long, wavy blonde hair, maroon eyes, and a mole on the lower right side of her mouth. She dresses rather revealingly, wearing a black bustier suit, black heeled boots, and shoulder-length black gloves. Her outfit reveals both her cleavage and the sides of her breasts, and has a skull-encrusted peace sign buckle attached just above the rivet holding the chest straps in place. She wears a long black cloak with a collar that is maroon on the bottom, with a large pink heart-shaped pin inlaid with a skull attached to her left shoulder, and a gold bracelet that goes under the cloak and out of the collar, to her right shoulder. Her most noticeable feature, however, is her large black hat. It is very similar to a witch's hat, with a skull on it that sometimes copies her expressions. The hat has large attachments that look like bat wings.

    Shiki is initially depicted as a carefree, free-spirited party girl who doesn't seem to have her priorities straight. This is shown at the beginning of Shinovi Versus when, after Yumi tells her to train with Minori, she tries to avoid it and go shopping, even going so far as to convince Minori to go play instead of training. She has few friends outside of her shinobi class, and is mostly seen on her phone. However, despite this, Shiki is actually an intelligent and insightful girl who enjoys reading the Heart Sutra, which Kurokage introduced her to when he took her in. She also enjoys reading literature and is shown to be quite tech-savvy, having a blog that gets her into trouble with her savior Mirai twice.

    Being born and raised in a wealthy family, Shiki had it all. A big house, servants who catered to her every whim, a large allowance (100,000 yen per month), everything a rich girl could want. Back in elementary school, Shiki and her friends would go shopping every weekend, and even if she spent her entire allowance, she would always have her parents' credit card. She has even fully admitted to being spoiled. However, none of this lasted long.

    One day, the dead bodies of Shiki's parents were brought home, riddled with scars. They died in the line of duty as shinobi, but no one told the young girl how her parents died, or anything else for that matter. This enraged young Shiki to the point that she seemed to cry endlessly, until she heard the voice of an old man behind her reciting the Mahayana Buddhist scripture, the Heart Sutra. This man was none other than Kurokage.

    After preaching to the crying girl about how the darkness and evil of the world must be eradicated, Kurokage adopted Shiki, taking her along with four other girls, one of whom was his own granddaughter Yumi, under his wing as shinobi.

    All five girls had one thing in common: they had all lost their parents, but even with that fact, young Shiki refused to be friends with any of them, going so far as to lash out and pick fights with everyone, especially Murakumo and Minori. Every time she started a fight, she would get scolded by Kurokage, but even so, it was obvious to her how upsetting it was to him. Upon asking why, Shiki learned that anger and sadness go hand in hand, and to deal with her own rage and sadness, Kurokage taught her the Heart Sutra, which he recited when they first met. From then on, Shiki relied on the Heart Sutra for comfort whenever she felt unsatisfied.

    At some point in time, Shiki and four other girls, Yumi, Murakumo, Minori, and Yozakura, enrolled in the Gessen Girls' Academy, a prestigious school for good ninja, and they also eventually became the school's five elite shinobi.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Shiki Soku ZX - Shiki summons a group of bats with her blood mist and rides on them as they carry her and her scythe straight to her enemies. She bombards them with a stream of bats, a bloody mist, and her scythe hanging from her side. The attack ends when Shiki corners the enemies, dismounts her bats, and takes up her scythe. Kū Soku ZIX - Shiki takes off her hat and throws it into the air, where it expands. Her hat turns upward and releases a ripple-like wave of darkness that carries many of her bats towards her opponent(s). Sho Gyom ZEX - Shiki creates puffs of smoke, and when they clear, she is completely naked, with her bats acting as censors. She throws her arms into the air, creating a giant tornado of darkness that destroys any enemy around her.

    A 16-year-old first-year student at Hessen Girls' Academy who, for some reason, always acts like a much younger girl. She is innocent and enjoys playing games, but is also determined to do right by her friends by becoming a worthy shinobi.

    A childish character who makes Hibari look mature by comparison. But even if she's a cute shinobi with an insane sweet tooth, she still represents something unique and exceptional. Her design incorporates the best aspects of an adult with the behaviors and mannerisms of a self-declared child who doesn't realize she's grown up. When you see Minori and really think about everything she's going through, it just makes you want to give her a big hug.

    Minori is a fair-skinned girl with long light brown hair tied in two pigtails with green big rings on them and big blue eyes, with small yellow pupils. She is one of the shortest girls, shorter than even Mirai by 2-3 inches. Despite her smaller frame, she is very much well-endowed like most of the other girls. She wears a green choker around her neck, with a small, round bell attached to it. She wears an orange top, which reveals her cleavage. The top has short, wide white sleeves, with pink trimmings, as well as the front part of her shirt. She has a large pink bow tied around her waist, and has a small hamster clip on her shirt, as well. She wears white and orange striped stockings, and matching undergarments. She wears large green bracelets and anklets, and pink boots with little red bows on them. She often carries around a blue pail with a hamster design on it. On her back is a large plush hamster backpack. She has a blue thermos on her right hip, and has a white headband.

    Despite her age, Minori has a very energetic and childish personality that makes even Hibari looks mature in comparison. She has a major sweet-tooth and loves to eat snacks all the time. Minori is extremely playful and even considers her work as a shinobi as "playing." However, there is a reason behind her childish demeanor. Minori doesn't like fighting as it is the reason why her parents are dead, having been killed on one of their missions. She believes that everyone in the world should spend more time playing than fighting because it would make everything better.

    Minori was taken in by Kurokage after her parents died in the line of their shinobi work. Ever since then he raised her alongside Yumi, Murakumo, Yozakura, and Shiki, training her to become a shinobi just like them. The two of them trained by playing games like tag and hide-and-seek, though Minori could never really catch Kurokage because he was far too skilled. When Kurokage fell ill, Minori would still request to play games with him despite him refusing every time. She knew it was selfish of her to ask, because it was apparent he was far too weak to do anything at all given his terminal sickness. Eventually, she was enrolled into Gessen Girls' Academy with the others and managed to become part of the elite class within her first year.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Pan Pancake - Minori gets out her frying pan and dumps a mysterious substance into it from her bucket, which suddenly turns into three pancakes. She swings the frying pan upwards, throwing the pancakes into the air. While in midair, the pancakes expand in size and when they hit the ground, flatten opponent(s). Minori's Snack Party - Minor's backpack expands before releasing giant sentient-like candy around her. With the candy now dancing around her, Minori becomes overjoyed; mindlessly jumping into the air with the candy simultaneously and sending it outward with a stary bang! Though still stationary, this attack's range has increased, as well as its hit radius and attack power. Strawberry Rainbow Slide - Minori lifts her bucket over her head as it expands, before tossing it in front of her. It eventually shoots out a gigantic strawberry baumkuchen cake of which she jumps into the hole and begins running inside like a hamster wheel. The cake rolls forward, crushing her enemies and flatten anything in its path as Minori charges forward.

    A 16-year-old second-year student at Hessen Girls' Academy. As the eldest of twelve siblings, she knows how to discipline her peers, which has come in handy in her job as Yumi's right-hand woman and chief enforcer. She rarely lets her discipline slacken, but she knows how to have fun, and when pushed hard enough, she lets loose - not just with her oversized gloves, but with the full verbal force of her native accent.

    Yozakura has short blue hair in a sort of bowl cut, with a cherry blossom in it, and she has blue eyes. She wears an outfit similar to a kimono, but exposes her midriff. The top parts of the outfit is white, which fades to a sea-foam green color, decorated with white, lavender and purple flower designs. The bottom half of the outfit resembles the bottom half of a regular kimono, but is open down the middle. It's sea-foam green in color, and slowly fades to a dark teal color as it goes down. Like the top, it's decorated with small flower designs. She wears a pale blue sash around her waste, which is decorated with white flowers. She wears long white tabi, and wooden sandals. On her arms are large, ornate gauntlets, which have pistons.

    Yozakura is considered a no nonsense individual that takes a lot of things seriously while disciplining her peers when necessary. This is due to her harsh past where she was responsible of looking after her younger siblings while her father was at work. Yozakura also has a temper that causes her hometown accent to come out when pushed to the edge. Despite her serious nature, Yozakura can be a kind, caring mother figure that is capable of knowing when to relax and take it easy, as seen when she is having fun interacting with her peers. On rare occasions, her childish side is shown either when she's frustrated or she wants to let loose. This is shown in Shinovi Versus when Yozakura was sparring with Yumi and she was getting frustrated at herself for not being able to approach Yumi and lay a hit, resulting in her complaining to Yumi on how she's not able to do so. In Estival Versus, while Shiki was out gathering information on the other teams, Yozakura was busy having fun as she was playing in the ocean, filled with excitement without a care in the world. Yozakura also has a competitive side as seen in her story in Bon Appetit where she mocks her opponents, telling them to give up as they're no match for her cooking skills.

    Being the oldest of the family, Yozakura was responsible for looking after her younger siblings while her father was at work as a shinobi. Her mother died when she was eight years old on duty as a shinobi while a year later, her father died while on duty as well. This led to Yozakura being separated by her siblings as her other family relatives started to take each of them in, including herself. However, Yozakura rejected them as she stated that she wanted to be the one to look after her siblings. Sadly, she couldn't which caused her to run away. With no food, water or proper shelter, Yozakura had no idea on what she'll do from there on out while also feeling hopeless about not being able to protect her younger siblings. Suddenly, a man who called himself Kurokage approached her as he gave out his hand to her, telling her this; ""I'll give you the strength to protect what is important to you." With nowhere left to go and no other plan, Yozakura accepted the conditions in hopes that one day, she'll be able to reunite with her younger siblings. By living with Kurokage, Yozakura met four other people named Yumi, Murakumo, Shiki, and Minori, where she developed a strong bond with them, thus allowing Yozakura to be part of a new family as she continued to work hard in getting stronger so that she can reunite with her younger siblings one day.

    Secret Ninja Arts: 1,000 Palm Fists of Paradise - Yozakura takes a stance, pulling her arm back and thus, activates a piston in the back of her gauntlet. She then quickly throws a punch, releasing a small ball of energy that bursts into several balls of energy towards her enemies. 10,000 Palm Fists of Paradise Hell - Yozakura releases large pistons in the back of both of her gauntlets, as the begin generating energy into them. She then brings her hands together at the wrists, and fires a ball of energy at her opponent(s). Namu Amida - Yozakura charges energy into both of her gauntlets, activating the pistons, then throws all of the energy into them at once. This releases a light in the shape of two arms together with the hands making fists. She uses this light like a whip to attack her enemies, punching them senselessly over and over again. For the finishing move, Yozakura puts both gauntlets together and releases one final thrust of energy towards the enemies. Shin Namu Amida - Yozakura takes a stance before being enveloped by a yellow aura around her body. This aura soon morphs and embodies a large golem-like being, with Yozakura mounted inside it. She then commands the golem by swinging the large arms violently at her enemies several times. And finally, for the last attack, Yozakura forms a hand-sign that makes the golem thrust its fists forwards and devastates the area in front of it.

    An 18-year-old third-year student at the Hessen Girls' Academy. She hides her face behind an ogre mask, giving her a frightening appearance in battle. However, when her mask is inevitably removed, she becomes an extremely shy and withdrawn individual, becoming so nervous that she stutters and trips over almost every syllable. Despite her friends' repeated assurances that there is nothing wrong with her face, she remains insecure about herself and will do anything to get her mask back if she is ever parted from it. She wields a spear in her left hand and a giant cleaver in her right. While her enormous cooking utensils may be a bit slow, they are undeniably effective.

    Murakumo is a fair skinned girl with long dark brown hair tied with a red ribbon in a side ponytail. She is dressed in the wear of a Sengoku period warlord, clad in armor and red flower trimmed haori. She often covers her face in a white mask reminiscent of Hanya. She is also one of the tallest female characters.

    Murakumo is an empirically curious and extremely shy girl, that Kurokage tells as lacking self-confidence. Despite being described as beautiful, she believes she must keep her face hidden from the universe and if it weren't for Yomi and Kurokage encouraging her, she refuses to take off her mask. Similarly to Mirai, she is a creative girl who draws mangas and often hangs out with other characters to take them as references for her comic by posing and such. As well, she also experiments with the other girls to take for reference things that are less visual, including the softness of their busts, and even is often more interested by taking references than the situation at hand. When wearing her mask, she feels safe and strong, and her voice sounds deeper than even Miyabi. It is when she doesn't wear it that, exposed, she becomes nervous and her voice gets more high-pitched than Hibari and her words become incoherent. This leads her to prompt witnesses to leave her alone, even by physical means, or to improvise a mask with anything including her underwear.

    Murakumo grew up in a family of four, but when they had dinner, they ate with a girl who lived in the neighborhood; Yomi. Since Yomi's parents were too busy to come home very often, they invited her to their house on occasion. The two of them were as close as real sisters, and played together all the time. When she was still a child, she was told her parents had died in an accident. Despite being told by her father's friend that they were hit by a car, Murakumo was certain they had been killed in action. She was so shocked that she developed a massive inferiority complex, completely withdrew into herself and began hiding her face under a bag. Yomi would then do the same out of a sense of solidarity for Murakumo. When Murakumo was adopted by Kurokage, she was heartbroken about being unable to say goodbye to her best friend. But she also thought she needed to leave behind all of her relationships to be a shinobi. At some point, Murakumo ended up being adopted by the CEO of Tairō family corporation which ultimately cut her time short with Kurokage.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Kotarō - Murakumo summons her white wolf, Kotarō, and gives it the command to attack. The wolf then starts dashing towards the enemies in a zig-zag pattern and attacking with its fangs and claws. Once it finishes, Kotaro returns to Murakumo before disappearing completely. Kagerō - Instead of having Kotaro call for Kagero, Murakumo summons them both. From there they dash about in a frenzy, attacking any and all enemies in the general vicinity. Instead of the two wolfs attacking in one general direction, they cover the entire area around Murakumo; giving her a unique edge when trying to capture enemies that would sneak up from behind. Daigorō Cut - Murakumo herself summons Daigorō, giving the spear to hold in its mouth before hoping on its back. It then charges with the spear and rams into enemies while Murakumo swings her cleaver side to side for added attack. To finish, she leaps off and the two attack in unison with both spear and cleaver one last time. Daigorō then returns the spear to Murakumo before it departs.

    A 18 years old third-year student and the leader of the Gessen Girls' Academy elite shinobi. Her grandfather Kurokage was a rival to the legendary ninja Hanzō. She lost her parents when she was young, so Kurokage raised her along with the other Gessen girls. After Kurokage's death, she was left in charge.

    Normal: Yumi is a fairly tall girl with pale skin, light blue eyes, medium dark gray hair and an overall average complexion. She uses to adorn her hair with a wide white ribbon tie with blue stripes on ends. In her shinobi clothes, she wears a solid white furisode kimono that hangs off her shoulders and exposes a large amount of her chest. The outfit has a blue double-lined trim with a blue obi on the back. Ice Queen Mode In her Ice Queen mode, Yumi loses her hair tie and allowing her hair to become longer in length in addition to becoming a light blue color and her eyes becoming red in hue.

    Yumi is described as a calm and serious girl, recognized as stubborn for sticking to her goals and ideals. While she supposedly takes responsibility as the leader of the Gessen elites, she can be seen as gullible as Shiki could have her do pointless fitness. She remains judgmental and hypocritical, as she demonstrates having deemed Asuka unworthy of facing her for presenting what she qualified as incompetence as a shinobi, and instead had Gessen's lower ranked shinobi combat Asuka. It has to be reminded that Yumi is among the worst shinobi both in technique and aptitude; while Asuka has already proved her worth more than several times before the Gessen team even appeared. In opposition, she recognizes Yozakura's greater strength despite the latter trying to persuade her the reverse. She has also been led to review seriously her ideals as of the end. Her leadership is revealed lax despite an intent to be firm yet gentle, as she is rarely obeyed to, and even often superseded by Yozakura. She is said by Shiki to be caring to her comrades by wanting the best of them and pushing them to the point of forgetting to relax sometimes. Trying to be more lenient and considerate of her comrades' feelings, she leaves Yozakura to discipline and yell at the others in her place when things get out of hand. Yumi's major ideal is the "Justice of the Moon", according to which Justice is the help to those who needed it, as well as cuteness. It is her equivalent as Asuka's sword and shield.

    At eight years old, Yumi's parents died on a mission for unknown reasons; most likely killed by evil shinobi while on the job. At the funeral, no one would tell her the reason why her parents were dead, only that they were very admirable shinobi which she could care less about, as all that praise would not bring her parents back. On that very day, Yumi was approached by a man with a scarred face who asked her if she wanted to know the reason for her parents' death. When Yumi responded positively he stated that he would make her ninja if she truly wished to know the reason. Strangely without fear, Yumi accepted his proposal. This pleased the old man as he assigned her the shinobi name “Yumi.” When she asked who he was he revealed himself to be Kurokage, the grandfather she had never known. Yumi went to live with Kurokage in a depopulated area in the deep in the mountains where she began her training. She underwent strict life-threatening training under him, her strong resolve stemming from the desire to become a shinobi like her parents before her and find those responsible for their deaths so she could exact revenge. She learned at an alarming rate and was soon able to do the same Secret Ninja Art as Kurokage in a year's time. Kurokage took note that she was rushing and getting ahead of herself so he stopped her training and taught her other things as an alternative. She learned how to make grain or barley, the name of constellations in the sky, Japanese history, and various other subjects which found to be equally fun. However, she was dissatisfied due to still wanting to train. One day as the two of them sat around and enjoyed a cup of shaved ice, Kurokage stated that they were both very much alike, as she believed that that power could resolve everything. Yumi agreed, stating that if she became strong enough then she surely could do anything. In response to this Kurokage stated that power alone is not enough to solve everything. He then performed his Secret Ninja Art “Black Ice” which amazed Yumi at the massive difference in power between her version and his. After this, he stated that power is not technically right and even with all the power he had he still couldn't meet her as Yumi's mother never talked about her father before. Kurokage told Yumi that was the reason why he taught her the meaning of power. After that day, she resumed her strict training. She became even stronger and much to her own marvel, her mind was strangely calm in the process. She began to wonder why she was becoming stronger and soon realized that power was not to be used for personal grudges, but rather to recognize a great dream. This prompted her to ask what the use of power was. This is when Kurokage told her his life story. His training as a good ninja and half his life as a rogue ninja. When she had listened to everything he had to say, she had made her mind up. She was going to realize her grandfather's dream and create a world without evil. Eventually, her grandfather took in several other orphaned children who had lost their parents as she had. They were Murakumo, Shiki, Yozakura, and Minori. Together they all trained with the desire to become strong so that they could create Kurokage's dream world. Yumi and the others easily passed the entrance exam to the prestigious Gessen Academy thanks to Kurokage's strict training and all became the academy's elite shinobi, with Yumi as their leader.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Black Ice - Yumi spins her fans in front of her causing her enemies to be sucked in before pushing the fans toward them and firing a frigid ice lance out of the center. This attack can freeze her enemies. Ice Pillar Fan - Yumi uses both fans as she twirls around, wrapping herself in a wide ranging whirlwind of icicles to damage everything around her. this attack can freeze her enemies. White Widow - Yumi summons her guardian spider, White Widow, to conjure up a glacial whirlwind. It has the same range as her Secret Ninja Art 2 and can pull enemies into its funnel in an instant, but only if her enemies are close enough to be pulled in the first place. Yumi is immobile for the duration of the Art, so it is imperative to coax her enemies closer before calling upon White Widow's windy web. Ice Queen - Yumi is surrounded in an icy vortex which damages any enemies nearby. When the vortex dissipates, Yumi is revealed yet again with light blue hair, red eyes, and a sword made of ice in her hand to replace her fans. With a temporarily altered move-set, Yumi can dash around the field at great speeds, freezing those who her sword slashes come into contact with. Her breach art in this state also freezes her enemies. She moves in wide bows yet she freezes her opponents at each hit. Yumi can stay in in her Awakened form for twenty seconds before reverting back to normal.

    She is a second-year middle school student at Gessen Girls' Academy.

    Senkō has silver hair and green eyes like her half-sister. She wears a deep dark purple and black suit composed of a short vest over a black and dark purple corset is made from a cotton knit with gold bias down the front. The frogs are gold braid looped over a gold button (all 5). She has black and dark purple long sleeves on her vest, with black losange plates. Around her waist is a dark purple colored and black lined feathery designed waist cape held by a gold belt. She has long slimming dark purple pants on top of dark purple boots. The pentagram symbol is found on several part of the outfit.

    Like her half-sister, Gekkō, she pretends to be a perfect student in Middle-School and is thus admired by her schoolmates, through that side of personality is mainly a facade to hide her true personality. Actually, being the serious half-sister of Gekkō, Senkō has a cold and brutal personality, turning back from nothing to achieve her goals. Being slightly fanatical and having a strong drive to Justice, she felt along her sister empty until she found Kurokage's diary hidden in the school's library, discovering his extreme ideals of Justice, which she made hers with her sister. It's only after losing to Yumi that she adopted Kurokage's "New" Justice.

    Relationships Gekkō: Gekkō is her half-sister. They work as a pair and plan together.

    Hanzo Team: she ambush with her sister and capture all of Hanzo team except Asuka that they leave in a torn clothing, openly contradicting her ideal of Justice. When they lose the Shinobi Masters, and after Hanzo team was freed, they presented their excuses to them for their brutal methods.

    Fubuki: They found Fubuki by following Kurokage diary's indications on mountains, and presented themselves to her as his admirators, thus Fubuki took care of them and directed them to destroy all shinobi. At the end, Fubuki abandons them after they put doubt on her methods. They try to fight her once, ending up on a clear defeat, stripped, and try to soften Fubuki at the very end by both touching her hand, but end up knocked out by her Yoma nature.

    Yumi: Yumi fought and defeated them with Asuka at the end. When they attempt suicide in a river due to feeling abandoned and seeing that their ideals of justice were wrong, Yumi held their hand in sorts to explain her justice.

    Senkō was with her half-sister the archetype of the perfect middle school student, even having influence at the Student Council, and are admired by their schoolmates. She has yellow sleeves detached from her vest, with black losange plates. She has long yellow pants-things on top of yellow boots. The moon croissant symbol is found on several part of the outfit.

    Like her half-sister, Senkō, she pretends to be a perfect student in Middle School and is thus admired by her schoolmates, through that side of personality is mainly a façade to hide her true personality. Being the friendly half-sister of Senkō, Gekkō is known to have a most likely positive, tough and kind personality, even through she isn't less fanatic and brutal in term of way to achieve to her objectives. Driven to Justice, she felt along her sister empty until she found Kurokage's diary hidden in the school's library, discovering his extreme ideals of Justice, which she made hers with her sister. It's only after losing to Yumi that she adopted Kurokage's "New" Justice.

    The older sister of Ryoubi and Ryona and a graduate of Gessen Girls' Academy, Ryouki was a renowned child prodigy who ultimately lost her life in a clash between Hebijou Mystery Academy for Girls and the Yoma. Three years later, she was unwittingly revived by Sayuri and the Mikagura sisters during the Kagura Millennium Festival, where she later serves as a member of the Festival Overseers.

    Ryouki is a tall girl with a generous complexion, clear white skin, black hair cut in a hime style, and dark blue eyes. Two bangs frame her face, flowing down to her chest, and her hair at the back of her head falls to her knees in a bell shape. A halo floats above her head, and she wears a cross-shaped ribbon with a gold button as a pin on the right side of her hair. In her shinobi outfit, she wears a three-piece blue dress consisting of a two-layered knee-length skirt with black and gold trim; a white blouse with frilled cuffs and a white frilled collar with a black ribbon; a black vest with gold trim; a blue coat with checkered lapels in the color of Sister Blue, black and gold trim; and a dark blue short cape with fringes. With the dress, she wears white thigh-high stockings with fancy black ends and blue, gold, and black boots with gold laces. It should be noted that most of the items she uses or wears, with the exception of her rifle, have 4 main colors: Blue, Black, White, and Gold, and she has a unique checkered blue pattern called "Sister Blue" as her underwear.

    Ryoki is described as a kind girl who cares greatly for her two younger sisters, presenting herself as a gentle older sister with a glowing aura. Always polite and calm, she holds no grudges, even towards Miyabi, as she prefers to look at everyone's growth and well-being. Her calmness comes from the fact that despite countless attempts, her sisters were never able to anger her when they were children. Despite this, Ryoki shows that she has some regrets regarding the past, where she left her sisters without a guardian to care for them. Throughout the festival, she is able to come to terms with the past and her own death, and shows great pride in her sisters for how far they have come as shinobi before she returns to Heaven. However, when someone touches her halo, Ryoki's personality undergoes a drastic change, with her eyes turning a bright green. This persona is akin to a delinquent, displaying incredibly violent behavior with a knack for destruction and an excessive amount of cursing. Additionally, this persona brings out emotions she would otherwise suppress, such as hostility towards Miyabi, even after forgiving her. When her persona subsides, Ryoki often expresses embarrassment and remorse, tending to apologize after the fact.

    While a plausible explanation for this has yet to be given, it is implied that Ryoki suffered from a split personality while she was alive and hid it from her sisters. She is even capable of activating it on her own, though she rarely does so as it can completely overwhelm her.

    When Ryon and Ryoubi were younger, Ryoki cared for them as a surrogate mother, playing with them. She looked forward to the time when she and her sisters would become equals who would fight together as shinobi. That was all she did until she was recruited into the Gessen Elite to be chosen for a mission. To announce her recruitment and that she would not be returning home for a while, she cooked a barbecue for her sisters. While Ryona was knocked out by a food coma, an argument of sorts began with Ryobi, who said many reproaches and the phrase "I hope you die" that she would later regret.

    After that, Ryoki was sent on a mission to fight the rogue Yoma with a team led by Kagura, but was ambushed by the Hebijo team. It was during this mission that she died at the hands of the chosen Yoma, who killed her entire team and almost all of the Hebijo, with only Miyabi and Imu surviving and defeating Yoma. Unfortunately, most believed that Miyabi and Ryoki's sisters had accused her of killing everyone in a rage using the Forbidden Ninja Art Blood Riot, despite the only one killed by Blood Riot being Yoma, who killed everyone he could before activating the forbidden technique, which left Miyabi in a coma.

    These rumors and the confusion of the event led to Ryobi and Ryona targeting Miyabi as the culprit and leaving the elite Gessen Girls' Academy to join the secret Hebijo Girls' Academy to plot the assassination. Ryoki, knowing the truth but powerless in the afterlife, could only guess that her sisters were plotting to avenge her on the wrong culprit until Rin clarified the event to them. When she meets Miyabi again during the Kagura Millennium Festival, Ryoki presents her apologies for her sisters for the troubles they caused. She remains afraid that her sisters strive to avenge her and wishes them to have a long and happy life even without her.

    Secret Ninja Arts: HAPPY MISSILE - Ryōki strikes a pose where she prepares her shield while looking at the target. She then puts up her shield in front of her, which causes the front face to split into four plates, revealing its several missile launchers. Then, the shield fires 3 salvos of small missiles, before firing the Yin-Yang central missile. This missile explodes a bit after by the command of Ryōki, who close her shield by roughly shaking it to the front. This technique does small damage, but blocks its targets in a constant flow of damage, stopping them from moving and getting them away from you. This is pure suppression. HAPPY RAIN - Ryōki strikes a pose where she kneels before getting up, throwing her shield in the air right above her. She aims up in its direction, and begins shooting it with her rifle. The shield starts spinning as the bullets bounce atop the surface of the shield. This causes them to ricochet in a diagonal direction of where she shoots, pelting the enemies with a barrage of bullets that gradually expands outwards. She does this until the final shot is made, sending the enemies flying as she gracefully catches her shield while doing a charming smile. This technique does large damage, sometimes one-shoting the surrounding enemies, and launching the rest of them away from you. It is a good technique to use when surrounded by enemies. HAPPY TURN - This is Ryōki's very unique and own Awakened form as unlike others it changes both her personality and her move set. By touching the halo atop her head to make it bare a red color, her eyes begin to glow green as she disposes of her rifle and shield to summon a heavily weaponized coffin serving as her main weapon. She swings it around effortlessly with an augmented strength, speed and agility as well as uses the two main artillery weapons to tear through crowds in short time. The coffin is a heavy blunt weapon itself, filled with two heavy artillery weapons: a Gatling gun and 3 missiles launchers (2 smalls and one big, can shoot in total 81 missiles, 60 small ones, and 21 big ones). The light attacks where she swings around the coffin are slow but do heavy damage on targets, and combos tends to be powerful enough to knock down one or some enemy characters due to the fair area of effect.

    Fubuki has pale, pure white skin and deathly cold black eyes with shadows underneath them. She has long, wavy black hair tied into long twin tails, adorned with a white flower.

    Her casual attire is a torn gray yukata with headbands that cover everything but her face, and a large brown winter coat with a hood.

    In her shinobi attire, she wears an open black kimono paired with an ankle-length loincloth trimmed entirely in gold that exposes her chest and legs, and two small white flowers on her neck and mid-chest, while her shoulder area has black striped straps on both shoulders, in which the straps are actually stockings. Like Yumi, she uses a fan as a weapon, but the mobile game gives it a feather-like appearance, while the anime simply made it a black version of Yumi's weapon. Yōma Mode: Similar to Yuyaki, Fubuki has a Yōma Mode that changes her appearance. It's simply red tattoos on her face, reminiscent of Kabuki makeup, but in addition, her black hair is slicked back and longer, and she gains pointy ears. Unlike Yuyaki, her clothes do not change. Like how Yumi's name relates to her personality, Fubuki's name expresses her personality in a way more colder disposition. usually appearing cool and calm, it masks Fubuki's intense hatred and ambition to destroy all Shinobi. She is not above betraying Shinobi like Senkō and Gekkō for her own goals, but cares for her Yōma caretaker, Rasetsu. However, she also displays a lonely side hinting that deep down, she desires companionship. This soft side of her is also shown during her younger years when she was under Kurokage's and Yumi's care.

    Relationships Yumi: The two became acquainted after Kurokage adopted Fubuki under Rasetsu's request. Despite their differences, they slowly became close to a real family. When Fubuki was taken back by Rasetsu and meets Yumi again after many years, Fubuki now sees Yumi as her enemy who could never understand her sorrow. In a final showdown, Yumi defeats Fubuki and managed to rekindle their old bonds while also becoming friendly rivals.

    Kurokage: Yumi's grandfather and Fubuki's adoptive grandfather. Fubuki was given to Kurokage by a injured Yōma named Rasetsu shortly after Fubuki loses her parents to Shinobi sent to exterminate her mother. Kurokage adopted Fubuki before the other Gessen Shinobi, revealing that Fubuki was Kurokage's first adoptive daugher. While originally hostile to the old Shinobi, Fubuki slowly warmed up to Kurokage that she kept a small sword and shield pin given by him after they parted ways.

    Gekkō: Gekkō, along with Senkō originally followed Fubuki because they knew she was adopted by Kurokage and believed that under Fubuki, they would carry on Kurokage's old ideal. However, Gekkō and Senkō were then abandoned by Fubuki when her true intentions were revealed. Despite the betrayal, after losing to Yumi, Gekkō decides to continue following Fubuki as a true companion.

    Senkō: Like Gekkō, Senkō originally followed Fubuki because they knew she was adopted by Kurokage but Fubuki deserts them when she revealed her true goals. However, after losing to Yumi, Senkō continues to remain loyal to Fubuki as a true companion.

    Rasetsu: A sentient Yōma that served Fubuki's mother and thus by extension, Fubuki. She is extremely loyal to Fubuki and Fubuki deeply cares for her. After Fubuki loses her parents, Rasetsu was the closest to family to her.

    Fubuki was born between a Shinobi who was her father and a Yōma who was her mother. Her mother was the strongest Yōma to ever existed. She loses both her parents to Shinobi that were sent to exterminate her mother, with her father being among them. A injured Yōma named Rasetsu tried to protect Fubuki and her mother but only managed to flee with Fubuki. After escaping from the Shinobi, the two met Kurokage where Rasetsu allowed Kurokage to take care of Fubuki until Rasetsu fully recovered. Fubuki was then introduced to Yumi where all three became very close despite Fubuki's hatred towards Shinobi. After Rasetsu returns to retrieve Fubuki, Kurokage gives Fubuki a small pin that resembles a small sword and shield to remember them by. Fubuki, along with Rasetsu, would then set their plan to motion to exterminate all Shinobi, both Good and Evil. During this planning, Fubuki manages to recruit two Shinobi, Gekkō and Senkō due to their admiration of Kurokage's old ideals.

    She a first-year at Hebijo. She is Ryōna's younger twin sister and Ryōki's younger sister. She transferred from Gessen Girls' Academy with Ryōna. She has a complex about her breasts and is the polar opposite of Ryōna, being a giant sadist. Before she uses Shinobi Transformation, she is small in the chest area. Her weapon of choice is a bolt-action sniper rifle, with an axe head modified onto the stock, which she uses primarily for close-quarters combat.

    Ryōbi is heterochromatic, meaning she has two different color eyes being blue for the left eye and green for the right eye. She dons a white button-down "dress" shirt that has the waist wrapped in a belt that holds all of her extra large bullets. Underneath is a big, black dress that goes all the way down to her ankles, which, along with her legs and feet, are covered by white thigh-high stockings and red dress shoes. Then, she wears a red hair band and a red overcoat-like shirt reminiscent of Native American clothes. Finally, she wears a tied black ribbon to look like tied shoelaces with the casual "bunny ears."

    Ryōbi is a serious sadist that is motivated to hurt people, especially Ryōna, and not minding to insult them and swear. Similarly to Mirai, she is jealous of the other girls' busts, and greatly hates when she is criticized upon it. Despite her sadistic nature, she has been shown to display compassion towards her victims, and with deep remorse, such as when she accidentally shot Murasaki and pushed aside feelings of guilt when she had to beat Imu to get to Miyabi. She is also shown to have a sensitive nature when other people mention her older sister Ryōki, about which she can react quite violently. guilty side was expanded upon, as it was revealed that she harbors a deep resentment from having told her sister Ryōki to "go die", in an argument the very day before Ryōki was killed in a mission.

    Like her twin sister Ryōna, she was taken care of by their elder sister Ryōki after their parents died. She was the most loving sister of the two towards Ryōki, as she used to be fascinated by her and to follow her around like a puppy for long. Though, she eventually started to resent her and to envy her qualities and chest alike, which ended up in arguments between her and her elder sister, until the latter was enrolled and sent on a mission to take on a Yōma. The day before the mission, in their last argument while Ryōna was KO due to a food coma, Ryōbi has shouted to wish her elder sister's death, and when Ryōki returns dead, she regrets it and is left alone with Ryōna.

    Secret Ninja Arts: 8 Minuet - Ryōbi loads a special bullet into her rifle and fires it straight up into the air, creating magical circles that generate eight spiked apparatuses. These apparatuses float above the enemies and then, without warning, explode. Ricochet Prelude - As before, Ryōbi loads a special bullet into her rifle and fires it forward. A wheel of eight spinning proxy circles appear as they glow, creating several floating spiked balls. She then takes aim and fires a bullet that bounces off of the spiked balls, causing them to explode in unison. Minuet Missile - Ryōbi generates an apparatus on her back that looks like a large gear, later unfolding and revealing a missile launcher. Ryobi takes hold of two launch pads and presses the buttons on both. The ends of the gear fire several projectiles that converge and form into missiles that lock on and terminate enemies on sight.

    She as a first-year student at Hebijo with her twin younger sister Ryōbi. Between her and Ryōbi, Ryōna is considered the elder sister of the twins, and the middle sister with Ryōki being the eldest.

    Ryōna is an ultimate masochist who likes being chastised and scolded and has no complex (she loves showing off her breasts, doesn't mind speaking to others about things relating her masochism, often disturbing them). She has a freestyle shooting posture closer to dancing with pistols than serious pistol shooting.

    Appearance Ryōna is a young woman with short blonde hair, and heterochromatic eyes, with her left eye being green, in color and her right eye is blue. She is fond of dressing up as a winged princess, which shows off her remarkably curvy figure (even by the game's standards).

    She dons a white outfit with a short, wide ballerina tutu decorated with triangular patterns. The top of the outfit ends in two triangles held together by thin threads which keep the back held together. More threads reach from each triangle to the other triangle to keep from exposing her bust and the front of the outfit from falling off (both of these things she probably wouldn't have a problem with).

    She also wears white stockings with triangular cut tops trimmed with gold, uncomfortable-looking platform boots that reach up to under her knees which are trimmed the same way as her stockings (her arms also share the same trend). Finally, her outfit is accessorized with two angelic wings and a silver tiara on her head.

    Personality She is more than often showing off her bust to the other girls both friend or foe and is a massive masochist. She has dozens of different poses while shooting her guns and speaks in a high pitched, squeaky voice. When the topic of good vs evil or whenever someone mentions Ryōki, her and Ryōbi's older sister take on a serious personality, ranging from questioning (in question to good vs evil) to even violent (towards those who knows of Ryōki's whereabouts). She is also very kind and compassionate, asking for forgiveness while fighting both Murasaki and Yozakura, despite her love for masochism, Ryona does not like to fight unless necessary. She is more understanding than her sister and she was hesitant to kill Miyabi after learning the truth about Ryōki and struggled a lot more than her, showing she is more soft and kind. She is loyal as she decided to kill Miyabi and Imu despite knowing the truth as Ryōbi had already taken action,

    Story Ryōbi's twin sister, who enrolled into Gessen Academy with her after their older sister, Ryōki's death. After hearing of the cause of their sister's demise (which was a rampage from Miyabi), they defected Gessen and enrolled into Hebijo Academy to gain Miyabi's trust and later kill her, taking revenge on her for Ryōki.

    Through many battles, she battled Hibari, Yozakura, and Haruka in that order, all the while gaining more and more of Miyabi's trust, all for making it crash to the ground in the end with her murder.

    During the assassination attempt, Ryōna's job was to take out Imu, though Murasaki stood in the way of that. Once Ryōbi had her sights set on Miyabi, Murasaki's instincts enabled her to take a bullet for Imu, who had been in the way of Ryōbi's line of fire (though Imu was planned to be killed first so she wouldn't act as a meat shield when Miyabi's time came).

    Murasaki had taken the bullet head on, causing her "death", putting Miyabi on her guard and triggering Imu's bloodline power, the Root of Calamity. Imu's crazed state, possessed by the Root of Calamity, allowed her to beat up Ryōbi and Ryōna as payback for Murasaki's "murder". In the end, the five Hebijo Elite all made it out of the chaos alive and ready to fight another day.

    Battle style Ryōna is a "Fodder" (Type 5): She wields, in each hand, a double pistol, which barrels are joined at the hilt using her index and pinky fingers to fire them simultaneously or differently. The weapons bear no possible spots to place a magazine or anything to reload them. The pistols are different: one is a incendiary pistol shooting scorching bullets, while the other is a cryogenic pistol firing freezing bullets. The combo of the two according to her attacks create a chain of crystal ice being created and blowing up repeatedly. She also is proficient in incorporating dancing and ice skating into her fighting style which she performs gracefully. She is able to glide and skate on virtually any surface as if it were ice, including a sandy beach, a rock path, and even walls. The attacks are weak most of the time, but she still attack fast, able to occupy foes and annoying them. (A combo Ryōna/Ryōbi is theorized to be highly efficient against some strong characters, if not considering how chaotic the fight may become.)

    Ninja Arts Secret Ninja Arts: Skater's Waltz, Beautiful Blue Gunslinger Ultimate Secret Ninja Arts: Rebellion Concerto

    Skater's Waltz: Ryona skates forward as she begins twirling around in her faulty ballerina style while kicking in unison. Her kicks follow a steady waltz pattern as they land devastating blows to any and all that come into contact with it. It finishes with a powerful kick directly to the ground, causing a small stalagmite shard to shoot up from her heel. Though it is short and has very little range, the attack is very powerful and quite a bit of damage can be taken from it (whether hit with the entirely or not). The initial and finishing move can freeze adversaries where they stand, so there is little to no escape once ensnared in its icy grip.

    Beautiful Blue Gunslinger: Ryōna preps herself before gracefully leaping into the air and fliping upside down. She then points her guns downward, and spins in a pirouette-like fashion while firing several shots at the enemies below. It ends with her explosively landing down, creating stalagmite shards that shot up from the ground. This attack is quite linear and for the most part stationary. So it does not have much range outside of the area of attack, thus making it easy to avoid. However, what makes this attack so fierce is that it freezes the ensnared opponent(s), both from the initial attack, and the ending.

    Rebellion Concerto: Ryōna skates around like a figure skater, lunging, jumping, and twirling as she fires her guns wildly in all directions. For the finale, she leaps into a spinning pirouette, and lands on the ground causing a geyser of ice shards rise up. This attack has range and can be moved into the desired direction, allowing Ryona to keep in pursuit after enemies that may stray. If caught in the fray, enemies will be frozen and will be devastated by the barrage of bullets in every direction.

It was originally founded as an ordinary private school, but after the incident three years ago involving the yōma attack and Miyabi's rampage (during which many lives were lost), it was re-established as hidden school. The school's management is made up of leaders from large corporations, so many of the evil shinobi who graduate from the academy end up working to increase those corporations' profits. The training is harsh, and it's not unusual for students to die, but Hebijo's reputation for excellence draws a never-ending stream of applicants. All Hebijo students wear an infinity symbol on their bodies as proof of their shinobi status, but the student body is divided into ordinary and Elite shinobi. The latter are highly skilled.

    Sōji is a tall, fair-skinned girl with blood red eyes and long strawberry blonde hair. She is rarely seen without a confident grin. In her normal form, she's usually seen wearing a standard Hebijo uniform with black leggings. In her Turnover, Soji wears a white and teal-themed leotard with a grey band beneath her breasts. A line is cut from the top of the left breast and trails down to her hip. Red strings are variously placed around her body to match the red designs and accenting. A pale brown belt and black leg sleeves beneath her pale brown boots completes the outfit. Soji is extremely confident in her looks and abilities. Any chance for her to show off. She is a textbook definition of a narcissist and is usually oblivious to how other people feel whenever she struts her stuff. She has a very one-sided rivalry with Homura. After a humiliating defeat years ago, Soji has vowed to become strong enough to defeat her and prove herself as superior, though Homura herself doesn't even remember her.

    Sōji comes from a very distinguished and famous family of evil shinobi. Since she was young, her parents taught that strength came above everything and would lead her to the true path of Shinobi. Sōji took these words to heart. In middle school, Sōji ran for Class President in the Student Council election. However, her victory was robbed from her by Homura. Enraged by this, Sōji swiftly challenged her to a fight outside the school, where she was defeated again and humiliated. Ever since this defeat, Sōji has made it her one and only goal to become strong enough to defeat Homura once and for all. She refuses to officially join the Hebijo Elite team until she defeats her, viewing Homura as her only true roadblock to perfection. This goal was put on hold after Orochi's attack, which resulted in Homura going rogue and into hiding. This didn't deter Sōji from continuing her training, so that she could track Homura down herself and settle the score.

    Originally from the slums, her parents sold her off. She is extremely distrustful of others, comparable to Yomi's past. She considers ninja to be consumable goods and would not balk at throwing away even her own life. She wields a giant matchlock rifle that shoots bullets made of dark energy.

    Chitose is fair-skinned girl with bright topaz eyes. Her hair is pale brown with multiple loose curls and strands - two of which resemble bug antennae. Her dress she wears resembles a costume of a fairy. It consists of a frilly, below the shoulder blouse of white with white frills lining it held by pink ribbon. The chest is cut to reveal the center with thin string holding it shut. Her skirt is a two-layer tutu of pale blue on top and pale yellow beneath. On each skirt layer are longer strips that resemble small wings. She has a pink ribbon tied around her neck and wears pale blue ballerina flats held by dark blue string.

    While she does have a sweet side, she mostly comes off as cynical and distant from others. Because of her dark and difficult past, Chitose is often distrustful of people. Unlike other shinobi, she believes that ninja are replaceable, including herself and is not reluctant to even give up her own life. This way of thinking is due to the fact that her parents sold her when she was little, but as she lived with other shinobi students she began to change her mind.

    She adores Haruka and she will do anything to please her. Her strength, appearance, and family are all extremely ordinary, and she claims that she has the most common sense at Hebijo, however when she's with Haruka she expresses her true hidden feelings. Using large "M" shaped scissors, her fighting style is to cut up opponents.

    Ibuki has fair skin and silver eyes. She has pale blonde hair that appears to be in a short spiked boys cut with a thin spiked parts sticking up on each side of her head, held with her black headband. She has two long thin ponytails that hang from the bottom of her held and are held by black bands. She wears a black top with red accent and string of yellow, along with a matching skirt with slits on each side of the hip. The outfit resembles that of a ninja, with rope knotted beneath her clothing and around her upper left leg to hold small knives. She wears a turquoise collar and black fingerless gloves with white around the wrist and a small guard of red and yellow on top of it. Her shoes are red with black material cut around her toes.

    The self-proclaimed disciple of an unidentified God with the cardinal number suffix of 666. She wields three chakrams, which she deftly uses to cut up her opponents.

    Ashiya is a fair-skinned girl with long curled red hair with a pinkish ombré on the ends of some curls. She wears two small tufts of hair up in pigtails held by a tiny yellow ribbon and has a simple gold tiara on top of her head. Her eyes are violet. She wears a very revealing, flowing pink gown that loosely resembles a kimono, accented by black and long rope of yellow and white. Over her lower half is a flap of white and yellow material with a pink-peach image drawn on it. Around her neck is a loose flowing scarf with a simple gold pendant hanging from beneath it.

    Ashiya is too arrogant a girl to those who know her. She is usually in her own world. She acts as if he is some kind of being from the depths of hell, while referring to everyone as mere human beings. For that reason she has few friends. She herself is aware of her attitude and although she is using her full strength to better herself, she fails every time and gets even more aggravated. In spite of that and her evil shinobi status, her teammates are her friends, and she is hopeful that she will have many more friends.

    As a relaxed individual, Bashō enjoys reading poems in quiet places. She has a calm, carefree personality and is charmed by Hikage's mysterious atmosphere. When she gets nervous, sometimes the tone of her voice goes strange and starts to sputter occasionally. Her fighting style involves using a large brush, which conceals a sword to stab enemies, and ink character ninja arts.

    Bashō has fair-pale skin and light purple eyes. Her hair is about chest length with a few strands longer, including two that stick down the center of her forehead. On the side are black bands held by tiny gold clips with chains of gold beads and pink flowers hanging from it. She tucks a paint brush behind one of her ears. Bashō wears a pale brown kimono with loose, long sleeves and a cape of white and green with a floral design that ties around her neck on a black string. She wears a pair of loose, dull red hakama pants and around her waist is green material with yellow string. On each foot is a white toed sock.

    She is a very calm and carefree yet very poetic. She enjoys reading poems and often searches for inspiration to write them. She tends to get nervous at times, which changes her tone of voice drastically. She also takes a keen interest in Hikage, due to her mysterious personality.

    She is 17 years old, a 2nd year student at Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy, and is Imu's younger sister. She lacks social skills and prefers to spend time in her room with her teddy bear Bebebi. Despite easily becoming one of Hebijo's elite, she never attends school and is the most feared shinobi in its history.

    Murasaki has ankle-length, long wavy violet hair, with a black ribbon placed just above her bangs, which cast a heavy shadow over her eyes, causing them to be devoid of shine, appearing darker than usual, and often lend her a sad demeanor overall. She wears a long, black dress with gray trimmings, and has a prominent bust.

    Murasaki is very fragile. She never attends school, preferring to spend her time playing with her stuffed bear, Bebeby. She is normally very soft-spoken and pacifistic, however, the Root of Calamity can cause that to change when she's frightened or angered. When under the influence of the Root of Calamity, her personality briefly changes significantly. She begins talking in a much lower voice, and makes an active attempt to kill the target of her anger, often screaming loudly in the process. Notably, Murasaki has a fairly cynical outlook on life. She considers the idea of friendship to be a lie, and rejects the notion that having people counting on you can make one stronger. In her own words, she believes people to be lonely creatures by nature. She frequently assumes the worst intent in people, and was honestly surprised that people from such different worlds as Yomi and Ikaruga could become friends. Her cynical outlook is reflected in her preference in media, with her favorite story being full of dark themes such as murder, depression and drug abuse. Murasaki also has a strange ability, learned as a result of spending all of her time in her dark bedroom: Her nose is much better than her eyes, and she can even sense details about one's character, such as personality and social status, through smell alone.

    Bebeby, or Bebe-tan in Japanese, is a purple bear plushie that Murasaki holds and make talk with ventriloquism. Unlike its rather silent and shy owner, Bebeby is rather blunt, telling Murasaki encouragements or critics.

    Murasaki is Imu's younger sister, born into a long line of evil shinobi, with a dark magical power known as the Root of Calamity. As a child, she had no desire to become a worthy shinobi, and believed she didn't have what it takes. However, her father continued to push her to train, despite her protests. This eventually resulted in an incident where she tried to skip training, angering both her father and Imu. Out of irritation, Imu took her stuffed bear, Bebeby, and tried to rip its head off. Murasaki blacked out, and when she came to, Imu was lying at her feet, unconscious. Her father then explained that the Root of Calamity is a Secret Ninja Art in which one infuses their body with spiritual strength, often triggered by negative emotions. Wracked with guilt from injuring her sister, Murasaki started to close herself off from the world. Her parents deceived her into killing a Hebijo Academy exam representative, and as a result, was considered to have passed the exam and officially enrolled. However, she became a shut-in. She refused to attend, going as far as to threaten her own parents that if they ever tried to force her, she would use the Root of Calamity on them. As a result, she became the first and only truant in the school's history.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Stay Away - Murasaki's demeanor suddenly changes as she becomes frightened and wary. As they intensify, she screams at the top of her lungs and a large purple aura starts to swell and envelop around her entire body. Murasaki then releases a giant ball of dark energy that hurls towards her enemies. It's travels in only one direction and can not be adjusted. However, the initial execution sucks in nearby enemies and damages them before they are hurled off in the distance and blown asunder by the aftershock. Just Let Me Die - Murasaki screams and releases a massive sphere of purple energy around herself. Someone, Save Me - Murasaki summons instead two dark claws. The opponents will be toppled into mid-air when the claws cleaving them in a brutal fashion.

    She is 21-years-old a third-year student at Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy and the leader of its 'prestigious' Elite Class. After a catastrophic accident with a Forbidden Ninja Art three years prior during a mission, Miyabi fell into a vegetive state and lost most of her memories. She was hospitalized ever since and lived an empty existence, but witnessing Hebijo's destruction made her come back to reality. She now stands again and leads the school's reconstruction effort, fending off rivals with her seven-pronged sword and her black flame as she seeks to restore both Hebijo's honor and her own.

    Normal: Miyabi is a girl of a lightly tanned complexion, though not nearly to the extent of Homura. Her hair causes many to claim that she looks like a handsome man, a trait which is even more greatly exemplified by her lack of femininity, much to her chagrin. Miyabi has short, somewhat scruffy yet clean white hair pixie cut style. She has the usual morphology of most characters. Miyabi wears Café Noir (Black Coffee) colored cape with white markings at the top left while the cape is over a white and yellow, high collared coat with black linings held by a double strap with a buckle logo of some sort of a snake, a burgundy sash and two small brown leather straps crisscrossed at the bottom front. The coat exposes a large amount of her breasts. A portion of her thighs and bottom are exposed as well, revealing that Miyabi wear yellow panties, dark grey thigh-highs stockings socks and white boots with Café Noir top lining adorned with black straps. Miyabi also wears a black choker and a silver necklace. Her left arm is covered by white bandages and black leather straps.

    Abyssal Mode: In this mode, Miyabi sprouts six wings that are black and white. Her hair becomes black with a white streak at the front and her eyes turn red. There is also an unknown symbol tattooed to her face.

    Miyabi is defined by her hard working and extremely prideful nature. She is extremely confident in her own abilities and her power is nearly unrivaled within Hebijo. She always carriers a serious demeanor with her, very rarely ever genuinely smiling outside of a confident smirk. Her demeanor is shown to be quite manly which, in relation to her more boyish appearance, only further adds to the issue of people hardly seeing her as a girl, which irks her greatly. Despite her no-nonsense attitude, Miyabi is a deeply caring person at heart. She values her friends, especially Imu, and over time learns to open up more towards the people she cares about.

    Miyabi came from a prestigious family of evil ninja, as did Imu, her childhood friend. When the two were younger, they always dreamed of what it would be like as ninja, going as far as to play a game called "Ninja." However, one day, Imu had an idea; They should play Ninja, but for real. One fateful night, the two girls would gather their fathers' weapons before sneaking off to the woods, a place where they had been warned not to go several times by their parents. Shortly into their "game," however, the children were attacked by a Yōma. Before the beast could attack the girls, Miyabi's mother stepped in, but she, though she was a Shinobi, stood no chance against the Yōma, and had her head brutally crushed by the beast right before her daughter's eyes. This sight would scar young Miyabi for life. As she stood, awaiting death by the hands of the Yōma, her father would then step in and quickly finish the demon. Her father was the principal of an Evil Ninja school known as Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy, a school in which Miyabi would enter, and quickly reach the elite level, alongside Imu years later. She and Imu would soon take part in a mission, along with several other ninja and one Kagura. The mission involved combat with a group of Good Shinobi. This battle, however, would be interrupted by Yōma. In a fit of vengeance-triggered rage, Miyabi would use a Forbidden Ninja Art, Blood Riot. This technique involved gathering power from the blood spilled within the Shinobi Barrier, but it provided a significant risk to the user if they lost control. Of course, Miyabi did lose control, and she had no memory of what happened afterwards, except for the fact that she and Imu were the only survivors. Since that night, Imu retired from shinobi life and worked as Miyabi's caretaker. Miyabi herself remained unresponsive for the next three years, unaware of everything around her, until one fateful day...

    Secret Ninja Arts: Delightful Inferno - Miyabi coats her seven-pronged sword with a dark aura before jumping right in with a fury of hard-hitting slashes. This move ends with Miyabi sheathing her sword and a ravenous explosion of power sends enemies flying. With its new attack range, this Art works against groups as well as powerful enemies. It maintains the benefits of being unblockable and burning whatever it strikes, and is perfect against defensive enemies such as turtle assassins. Purgatorio of Good and Evil - Miyabi summons a nest of blood-red snakes from her left hand, which sink their fangs into everything surrounding her. Since this art has a wide-range, it's perfect against a group of enemies, but since it's blockable, be sure to avoid using it around enemies who frequently guard. Paradiso of the Abyss - Miyabi places her hand over her chest and suddenly sprouts six black wings. She takes to the sky and coats her 7-pronged blade with the black fire from her left hand which also extends it. She then begins to wave her sword while in the air, attacking the ground below her with an onslaught of infinite projectiles from her sword. She ends it off by crashing down into the ground with a downward punch. She can adjust this Art's aim, changing targets on the fly. On the downside, the art is blockable, and it's difficult to hit enemies directly below her. Put some space between her and the target before using this Art. Divine Judgment - While presenting various similarities to Paradiso of the Abyss, this Ninja art is very unique. As before, Miyabi would begin to focus dark energy until she is engulfed in a black aura. This aura soon dissipates, revealing a black-and-white six-winged Miyabi. Her hair dons a similar pallet as her wings, though on opposing sides, her eyes change color and there is a serpent mark under her right eye. Her sword becomes a seven branch sword that is twice as large and freely floats as she controls it and begins her onslaught. As soon as she turns into this form, Miyabi has about 20 seconds before she reverts back to her original form.

The user will more than likely go berserk after being empowered by the technique and can figuratively become an unstoppable force at the price of their self-control and sanity. The only way to stop Blood Riot is by using the Ninja Art known as Blood Reverse.

    Blood Reverse is the only means of combating Blood Riot as it stops the excess blood flow that comes from using it. Blood Reverse is powered by consuming the shinobi's vitality. Overuse of this technique can lead to death. The user creates a seal on the palm of their hand and directs it at the person of choice to initiate the art so that they my drain blood from their bodies which in turn causes it to dissipate in the air.

    A 21-year-old third-year student at Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy and Miyabi's best friend. She was hospitalized for a year after the same event as Miyabi, after which she retired from the shinobi life to help her best friend recover. As everything she does, she works together with her to restore the Hebijo object. In combat, she can manipulate the length and thickness of the pole she uses as a weapon.

    Imu is a somewhat short girl with dark green eyes and light brow hair, with two bun-things on the sides. She has the standard complexion of the series. She wears a outfit with a somewhat military style: Medium green boots with a black cross pattern, stockings going to slightly above her knees, a plated white skirt with a red line on the down part of the body. On the upper part she wears a green coat with black lines and crosses, black collar and shoulder pads. She wears a green beret and glasses.

    Imu is a somewhat naïve but nice girl, and a bit of an "otaku", as she is the first of the two to enounce typical anime "values". She only yearns to be with Miyabi and to do activities with Miyabi, to the point of joining her when she goes to hunt a Yōma, or to win the Shinobi Exam to enter the Hebijo Elites' group. She is to the point of sacrificing herself for Miyabi, as a meat shield. She is a bit "annoying" to Murasaki, her younger sister, by trying to make her get out from her chamber. That doesn't mean she doesn't care for her. But she is also as determined if not a bit more than Miyabi to destroy Yōmas: In EV, while Miyabi's bravery was perturbated, broken by the eventuality of seeing her mom again and her defeats, Imu took the Shinobi Bon Dance seriously when Sayuri announced that it will open the road to the title of Kagura. She was even frustrated by the lack of energy and motivation of the team.

    Imu was Miyabi's best friend: they passed most of their time together as children, and particularly liked playing Shinobi. One night, they decided to play Shinobi for real, so they stole their fathers' weapons and wandered in the forest. A Yōma found them, and decided to take them as a meal. It's when fleeing from the menace that Miyabi's mother decided to arrest the Yōma to protect them, but it killed her anyway. Miyabi found herself full of sorrow and was mourning her mother since that day, and it's also that day they both swore to take revenge on every Yōma. Miyabi's father, knowing about the event, prepared them until they were in age to become actual shinobi. Unlike Murasaki, Imu never manifested any form relating to the Root of Calamity inherited by some members of the family. Meanwhile, during High School years, she was particularly harassed by Hikage, who, among other things, changed her regular glasses into sunglasses with a permanent marker, swapped her wash cloth with deep fried tofu and put a real mouse in place of her computer mouse. She hates her and even wanted to take revenge. The revenge took place but it changed pretty much nothing. One year, Miyabi and Imu finally entered Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy. Miyabi was directly focused to become part of the Elites. Imu proposed to party for finally becoming shinobi, but she got an fighting exam instead by Miyabi, plus her that told to Imu that if she isn't able to gain more strength, she doesn't want to see her again. In order to be with Miyabi, Imu passed the exam, but it still wasn't enough for her. One day, both Imu and Miyabi are selected as Elites to be part of an expedition with a team and a Kagura. The target: a team of "good" shinobi, led by a Kagura, which included Ryōki, that was hunting a Yōma. The goal was to ambush and eliminate them. The mission is a total disaster: During the ambush, the Yōma the "good" team was searching for cowardly made use of the mayhem of the fight between the two teams to kill easily both of them all while they were occupied. Miyabi and Imu were the only survivors. Imu could only assist powerless to the murder of her foes and allies by the monster, and Miyabi going berserk and killed that same monster, and losing her mind to fall into a coma afterwards. She rested with her at the hospital during the whole coma, which came with amnesia. Like Murphy's laws say, a disaster never comes alone: The death of Ryōki and the confusion behind the event led to her sisters Ryōna and Ryōbi, quitting Gessen a while after they joined to join Hebijo. Their amazing skills as a Fodder (Ryōna) and a Support (Ryōbi) opened them easily the path to the Elites. They were accepted as the last team was nearly totally killed by the Yōma event. If Imu and Miyabi would see them as comrades at least, or friends, the two sisters didn't have the same ideas behind their heads: there is a revenge for them to take, and the reason they joined Hebijo was for that. It was personal. Knowing the protective role and behavior of Imu towards Miyabi, Imu was their prime target. When the D-Day and the H-Hour finally arrived, Murasaki took a bullet from Ryōbi's K98k, while trying to defend her, knocking her out, enough to seems like it killed her. Imu brutally exploded of sorrow and finally used the Root of Calamity with which she defeated both Ryōna and Ryōbi. Rin narrowly intervened to stop the hostilities, put the event involving Ryōki's death in sunlight, and calmed Imu. Murasaki has luckily survived the ~8mm Mauser bullet she took. Now that the Yōma event is made clear, and that the Sisters gave up their plan of revenge on Miyabi, Imu has forgiven them, and they are officially part of the New Hebijo team.

    Secret Ninja Arts: Dead Fox - Imu moves about in sporadic directions, trapping enemies within streams of lightning. She finishes it off by slamming her staff int the ground, sending enemies flying. Rolling Thunder - Imu starts spinning her staff above her head to generate electricity. Then she throws at her opponent(s) like a boomerang. Rolling Thunder II - Imu takes her staff and begins to spin it. She then tosses it at the enemies as if she were executing Rolling Thunder. Only she does not stop there. While quickly forming a hand sign, Imu extends the shockwave created by the staff into an upward spiral; engulfing everything that is trapped within. Unlike its predecessor, this ninja art is far more stationary. However, it's range and strength have increased significantly. Thunder Fox - Imu strokes her staff before it suddenly grows in size. It plummets into the ground, opens up and releases several floating foxlike creatures; immediately having them spin about in a tornado of lighting around Imu.
