Goku

Goku is a Saiyan raised on Earth who devoted most of his life to martial arts and the pursuit of stronger opponents. After learning of his Saiyan heritage he continued defending Earth while training under increasingly powerful masters. His battles against Vegeta and the invading Saiyans pushed him far beyond his earlier limits and eventually led him to travel to Planet Namek. There he entered the conflict against Frieza's forces after recovering from his injuries and rapidly overwhelmed much of the Ginyu Force before facing Frieza himself.

During his battle with Frieza Goku was forced to push the Kaioken far beyond its usual limits but still struggled against Frieza's full power. After witnessing Krillin's death Goku's rage triggered the legendary Super Saiyan transformation. His hair turned golden and his power increased enormously allowing him to surpass Frieza and continue the battle even as Namek began collapsing around them. Goku remained focused on defeating Frieza but eventually chose to stop once his opponent was no longer capable of meaningfully fighting back.

Appearance: Super Saiyan Goku has warm peach skin and a tall heavily muscular athletic build with broad shoulders, a thick chest, sharply defined arms, and powerful legs. His eyes are turquoise-green. His hair is bright golden blond and transformed into an enormous mass of rigid upward-pointing spikes, with several thick locks sweeping over his forehead and the rest radiating outward around the crown.

He wears a badly torn dark blue sleeveless undershirt with ragged openings around the shoulders and neckline. The fabric is ripped across the edges and hangs unevenly over his chest and abdomen. His arms remain bare apart from dark blue wristbands wrapped tightly around both wrists.

His orange gi pants are loose and heavily torn with jagged openings and frayed edges across the thighs, knees, and lower legs. A dark blue sash is tied around his waist with long uneven ends hanging down over the front of the pants.

He wears dark blue boots with red edging and narrow yellow ties around the ankles. The boots have pointed fronts and thick dark soles.

Personality: Goku is cheerful and straightforward outside battle but becomes intensely focused once a serious fight begins. He enjoys testing himself against strong opponents and often allows enemies opportunities to reveal their full strength because he wants to overcome them at their best. This confidence can make him reckless but it is balanced by a strong instinct to protect others. When people close to him are harmed his usual easygoing nature can give way to severe anger.

Krillin is Goku's closest friend and one of the people whose safety affects him most deeply. His bond with Gohan is equally important though Goku often treats his son as someone capable of growing stronger rather than someone who must always be sheltered. He respects Piccolo despite their earlier hostility and gradually recognizes Vegeta as both a dangerous rival and fellow Saiyan. Goku's hatred of Frieza grows from the tyrant's cruelty toward his friends and the people of Namek rather than from pride in Saiyan history alone.

Goku’s Super Saiyan transformation massively increases his strength, speed, durability, and ki output while turning his hair golden and surrounding him with a blazing aura. He can also use the Kaioken to temporarily multiply his physical power and speed, though the technique places severe strain on his body when pushed beyond safe limits. His signature Kamehameha concentrates ki into a powerful energy beam that can be strengthened by gathering additional energy before release.

The Spirit Bomb allows Goku to gather energy from living beings and the surrounding world into a massive sphere of concentrated power. He can also use flight through ki control and sense the energy of other living beings across great distances without relying on technological equipment. His martial arts skill is highly developed, allowing him to read an opponent’s movements, adapt during battle, and combine physical attacks with precise ki techniques.

Goku normally fights without weapons or armor and depends entirely on his body, ki, and martial arts training. His Saiyan physiology gives him extraordinary physical strength, durability, and the ability to grow stronger after recovering from severe injuries.
