Goku was born on Planet Vegeta as Kakarot, the son of Bardock and Gine. Like other low-class Saiyan infants, he was placed in a space pod and sent off-world to conquer a distant planet. His target was Earth, but fate altered his destiny. After arriving, he was found by an old martial artist named Grandpa Gohan, who adopted the child as his grandson. At first wild and aggressive due to his Saiyan nature, Goku suffered a head injury from a fall, which erased his violent instincts and left him gentle, cheerful, and pure of heart. Under Gohan’s care, Goku grew up in the mountains, training, fishing, and hunting, all while discovering his abnormal strength, his tail, and his unusual appetite. Though unaware of his true heritage, he soon began a journey that would connect him to powerful friends and foes alike.
As a boy, he set out with Bulma in search of the Dragon Balls, encountering allies like Yamcha, Krillin, and Master Roshi, while defeating enemies such as the Red Ribbon Army and the demon King Piccolo. Each victory tested his limits and honed his martial arts skill. As he grew, his training and battles propelled him from Earth’s tournaments to the defense of the entire planet and beyond. He faced the truth of his heritage when fellow Saiyan warriors arrived to destroy Earth, learning that he was one of the last of his race. His battles against Vegeta, the galactic tyrant Frieza, the bio-android Cell, and the ancient monster Majin Buu pushed him to new transformations, including the legendary Super Saiyan. Through triumphs and losses, Goku became the strongest warrior in the universe, dedicated to protecting Earth while still seeking to surpass his limits as a fighter.
Years after Majin Buu’s defeat and a time of peace, Goku’s life was unexpectedly altered once more. The bumbling villain Emperor Pilaf, still dreaming of world domination, managed to gather the Black Star Dragon Balls. These orbs were more powerful and dangerous than the regular set, created by the Namekian guardian of Earth long ago. Unlike their counterparts, they scattered across the universe after use and carried a curse: if they were not collected within a year, the planet on which the wish was made would be destroyed. In a moment of frustration, Pilaf wished that Goku was a child again, and the wish was granted. Goku’s body shrank back to that of his youth, though his immense power remained locked within his smaller frame.
Realizing the Earth would face destruction if the Black Star Dragon Balls were not recovered, Goku resolved to find them scattered across the galaxy. He was joined by his granddaughter Pan, eager to prove herself, and Trunks, the reluctant pilot of their ship. Together they embarked on a vast spacefaring adventure, traveling from planet to planet in search of the orbs. Along the way they encountered dangerous foes and bizarre civilizations: alien warlords seeking conquest, robotic parasites with designs of domination, and worlds with hostile environments that tested their survival skills. Their journey forced Goku into constant battle, and despite his childlike body, his experience and heart made him the backbone of the group.
The greatest threat they faced came in the form of Baby, a parasitic machine mutant created by the Tuffles, an ancient race destroyed by the Saiyans. Harboring a deep hatred for Saiyans, Baby sought revenge by possessing hosts and ultimately seized Vegeta’s body to become “Baby Vegeta.” Goku was pushed to his limits in the battle against this foe. His small body weakened his usual transformations, and even as a Super Saiyan 3, he was overpowered. In the midst of desperation, Goku transformed into a Golden Great Ape under the light of the Earth’s artificial moon, but unlike the mindless beast that Saiyans usually became, he regained control of his reason. This union of primal Saiyan instincts and controlled power awakened the form of Super Saiyan 4. With crimson fur, heightened strength, and a more mature presence, Goku finally turned the tide and defeated Baby, saving Earth and cleansing Vegeta of the parasite.
Peace did not last. Soon after, Earth faced the return of old enemies like Super 17, an android fused from Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu’s creations, who nearly overwhelmed the heroes until Goku, with his persistence and new power, brought him down. Yet even greater danger loomed in the corruption of the Dragon Balls themselves. Years of repeated use and accumulated negative energy gave birth to the Shadow Dragons, seven destructive beings each tied to a Dragon Ball. These dragons wreaked havoc across the world, each with unique and terrifying abilities. As the one most responsible for calling upon Shenron over the years, Goku took responsibility for this crisis.
Appearance: Goku is small and muscular with spiky black hair that stands upright in thick, pointed locks. He has a rounder, childlike face with defined eyebrows and a small nose. A brown, furry tail extends from his lower back. He is dressed in a sleeveless blue gi tied at the waist with a white sash, orange pants, and dark blue martial arts shoes with white cloth wraps around the ankles.
Personality: As Little Goku, his personality blends the cheerful innocence of his youth with the wisdom and experience of a lifelong warrior. Though physically a child, he still carries the heart and instincts of the seasoned fighter he had become. This makes him playful, curious, and lighthearted, often approaching even dangerous situations with the carefree enthusiasm of a boy on an adventure. He jokes more, gets excited easily, and sometimes lets his childlike impulses—like hunger, mischief, or eagerness to explore—take over in moments where his adult self might have been more composed.
Despite this, his core values remain intact. He is still fiercely protective of his loved ones, especially Pan, and continues to seek out battles not for conquest but for the joy of testing his strength. The contrast between his childlike energy and his mature fighting spirit makes him unpredictable: one moment he’s laughing at something silly, the next he’s standing unyielding against threats that could destroy worlds.
Techniques: Kamehameha – A powerful energy wave created by concentrating ki and releasing it through the palms. Even in his child body, Goku can use it with immense destructive force.
Super Kamehameha – A stronger variation of the Kamehameha with greater power and range.
Instant Transmission – A teleportation technique that allows Goku to instantly travel to any location by locking onto another being’s ki signature.
Ki Blast – Basic bursts of concentrated ki energy fired from the hands, often used in rapid succession against enemies.
Flight – The ability to use ki to levitate and maneuver freely in the air.
Dragon Fist – A finishing technique where Goku charges his ki into a massive golden dragon-shaped aura that strikes the enemy with overwhelming power.
Super Saiyan Transformations (1–3, and 4 after regaining his adult form temporarily) – Goku retains the ability to transform into Super Saiyan forms despite his childlike body, increasing his strength, speed, and ki. Super Saiyan 4, achieved after regaining his tail and transforming into a Golden Great Ape, reverts him to an adult-like body with immense power.
Great Ape Transformation (Ōzaru) – By looking at the full moon or another source of Blutz Waves, Goku transforms into a giant ape, multiplying his power dramatically. As Little Goku, his tail makes him vulnerable to this transformation.

In a quiet valley on Earth, Goku stood across from a band of armored raiders tearing up farmland with stolen tech. His tail swayed behind him as he dropped into a stance, eyes sharp but his grin wide.
“You guys picked the wrong place to cause trouble!” he shouted.
The raiders opened fire, but Goku darted through the blasts, his small body moving like lightning. He closed the gap with a flurry of punches and kicks, knocking weapons aside with ease.
"So, does this mean I have to go back to school now?"
"Well, you've made quite a mess, 17. What do you say you show your face so I can start cleaning up, now?!"
