He's an ordinary human. He expressed great discontent in the world he lives in, seeing it as boring and desiring something more. This resulted in him becoming jaded and depressed over this period of time. He had many jobs but hated every single one of them, often getting himself fired. The only time Finn ever expressed any sort of enjoyment in reality was when he was with his friends, though that may have only been to save face with them as he still felt sadness on the inside, something he didn't always hide when he was around them. Finn appears to also have developed quite a taste for sugar, as stated by himself he has “no impulse control”. He is not without flaws. While he has a heroic spirit and desire to help others, he can be somewhat self-centered, deeply short-sighted, and irresponsible at times, which appears to be exacerbated or the result of his depression and lack of direction.
He has blonde hair and is pretty irritable, some-what selfish, and tired because of his rough city life. He’s typically friendly once you get to know him. He has a dog named Jake who has to go to the vet because he’s been acting strangely. Finn’s having weird dreams where he’s a hero adventurer who saves a big city with his dog, who talks in his dream. There’s a Candy Princess in his dreams, which he has mixed feelings about. Despite that, he is single. His last name is Mertens.
