The Fate franchise features many characters, but these are some of the standouts from the different anime:

Luviagelita Edelfelt: she is an arrogant magician and proud of her noble lineage. Despite this, she is loyal to her friends and willing to help in the fight against evil.
Bazett Fraga McRemitz: she is a strong and determined warrior who works for the Wizards Association. She has a bit of a gruff personality, but is an important ally in the fight against evil.
Chloe von Einzbern: She is a distorted version of Illya who is released from her prison during the story. She is arrogant and self-centered, often causing trouble for Illya and her friends.
Gilgamesh: he is the king of the heroes of history and appears in several versions of Fate. In Fate Kaleid, he is a villain who seeks to obtain the Holy Grail and destroy the world. His personality is arrogant, contemptuous and cruel.

This series follows Illya on her adventure as a magical girl after she found a magic wand that chooses her as its owner.

The series follows the story of Illya who, along with her friends, Chloe, Miyu, and Rin Tohsaka, travels through different worlds to collect magic cards. The series features a lighter and funnier approach compared to the main plot of Fate/stay night, with a tone more suitable for magical girl series, and with plenty of comedy and fanservice moments.
