En'Geddon was a Jiralhanae Chieftain who co-founded the Banished alongside Atriox and Decimus. He participated in the Installation 07 conflict in early 2560.

En'Geddon parted ways with the Covenant alongside both Atriox and Decimus, a mere foot soldier of the alien alliance until his service in the Banished unlocked his true potential. Upon returning his clan in Zomar, a major city on the Jiralhanae colony-moon of Teash, En'Geddon rallied those who had remained to join the Banished, forging his identity as their chieftain. And it was here, that this savage leader began to gain his destructive renown. Like other Banished leaders. En'Geddon led a distinctive subset of warriors, the Bulwark of Bone, gathering its own followers before coming to service of Atriox's campaign. In the Banished, the chieftain proceeded to carve a violent path through dozens of human colonies, most notably Seaford and Vuryonos, large-scale raiding operations that left the worlds crippled in their wake.

En'Geddon was born in Zomar, a major city on the Jiralhanae colony-moon of Teash where much of his clan, the Bulwark of Bone, was located. He would go on to join the Covenant military and serve during the Human-Covenant War.

While still a mere foot soldier, En'Geddon fought during the invasion of the human colony known as Algolis. It was here that he served alongside Atriox and Decimus. When the two Jiralhanae decided to revolt against the Covenant, En'Geddon joined them.

In order to serve Atriox to his full potential, En'Geddon returned to his clan in Zomar, rallying them to join the Banished alongside him. Forging the role of Chieftain for himself, he returned to the Banished as leader of the Bulwark of Bone, now a distinctive subset of warriors within the Banished. It was here that En'Geddon would gain his destructive renown. He would carve a violent path through dozens of human colonies, most notably Seaford and Vuryonos, large-scale raiding operation that left the planets crippled.

These actions caused En'Geddon to come under attention of the UNSC during the Installation 07 conflict in 2560, for which the Chieftain was present. Ultimately, he was identified and located by the Weapon, who passed this information on to Spartan-II John-117. During the Spartan's attack at Annex Ridge, En'Geddon personally bore witness to the Spartan's combat prowess and the near-futility of the Banished efforts to fight against him. In one communique, he noted that in one such attack, he observed a Sangheili taking a fallen Jiralhanae's weapon in rage and effort to avenge his fallen brother - noting his wonder at how Atriox and the Banished could unite the two species in brotherhood even despite the Great Schism and the long, bloody war that had ensued from it. As such, En'Geddon looked forward to meeting John-117 in the field and engaging him personally - regardless of whether he prevailed or not.

During the Installation 07 conflict, En'Geddon wielded a modified variant of the gravity hammer called the Rushdown Hammer. En'Geddon used this hammer to fight both against the enemies of the Banished, but also in order to execute those who he deemed too ambitious for their status, challenging them in fighting arenas and always emerging victorious.

The United Nations Space Command (UNSC) is the military, exploratory, and scientific agency of the Unified Earth Government (UEG) and has acted as the emergency governing body of the human race at large for a time.

The Battle for Zeta Halo was a large multi-faction battle that took place starting on December 12, 2559, prominently between the United Nations Space Command and the Banished on the Forerunner Halo Installation 07, otherwise known as "Zeta Halo", and continues as of around mid-2560. The earlier stages of battle ultimately led to the death of Cortana, the deactivations of her Guardians and the splintering of the Created in various fiefdoms and fledgling cells while simultaneously severely damaging Installation 07, making it a turning point of the Created uprising, although the conflict itself continued as of 2560.

The Banished are a multi-species confederation of pirates and raiding clans. Acting as mercenaries, the organization's goals have been described as attaining power in their raids across the Orion Arm, while their killers and mercenaries plunder treasure in the name of their own free will.

They were formed and led by the Jiralhanae warmaster Atriox after rebelling against the Covenant. The Banished are primarily composed of Jiralhanae and have incorporated Sangheili, humans, Mgalekgolo, Unggoy, Huragok, and Kig-Yar, as Atriox denounced vengeance between species as a petty restriction in the way of gaining rewards and treasures.

The Valorguards of the Chosen are a Sangheili mercenary clan within the Banished, with General Inka 'Saham as a prominent member.

Following the dissolution of the Covenant, the remnants of the Bloodstars were absorbed into the Banished. Atriox created a new iteration of the unit and tasked it with a new purpose of hunting and killing dangerous enemies; against the UNSC, this translated into killing Spartans.
