En'Geddon parted ways with the Covenant alongside both Atriox and Decimus, a mere foot soldier of the alien alliance until his service in the Banished unlocked his true potential. In the Banished, the chieftain proceeded to carve a violent path through dozens of human colonies, most notably Seaford and Vuryonos, large-scale raiding operations that left the worlds crippled in their wake. En’Geddon is born in Zomar, a major city on the Jiralhanae colony-moon of Teash, where much of his clan, the Bulwark of Bone, resides. He grows to maturity among his kin before joining the Covenant military, serving as a foot soldier during the Human-Covenant War. It is during the invasion of the human colony Algolis that he fights alongside Atriox and Decimus, two warriors whose defiance against the Covenant inspires him. When they revolt, En’Geddon follows them into rebellion, leaving behind the old order to embrace the cause of the Banished.

To realize his potential in Atriox’s service, En’Geddon returns to Teash and rallies the Bulwark of Bone, forging his place as their chieftain. With his clan at his back, he returns to Atriox as leader of a distinctive and fearsome subset of Banished warriors. His campaigns become infamous for their brutality, carving through human colonies in bloody raids. Seaford and Vuryonos suffer the most devastating of his assaults, large-scale operations that cripple both worlds and mark En’Geddon as a figure of terror among the UNSC.

By 2560, during the Banished occupation of Installation 07, En’Geddon’s reputation draws the direct attention of the UNSC. The Weapon identifies and tracks him, passing information to Spartan-II John-117. En’Geddon encounters the Master Chief’s campaign firsthand at Annex Ridge, bearing witness to the Spartan’s combat skill and the futility of Banished resistance against him. He records observations of a Sangheili warrior seizing the weapon of a fallen Jiralhanae in fury, fighting not as rival species but as brothers under Atriox’s banner. The sight deepens En’Geddon’s belief in Atriox’s vision of unity, one strong enough to overcome the scars of the Great Schism. Inspired, he looks forward to the chance of facing John-117 directly in battle, whether victory or death awaits him.

En’Geddon carries into battle a unique Rushdown Hammer, a modified gravity hammer distinguished by its immense power. He uses it not only against the enemies of the Banished but also within the ranks of his own warriors. Those who challenge his authority or grow too ambitious for their station face him in the fighting arenas, and every such duel ends with En’Geddon’s victory.

Appearance: En’Geddon is a Jiralhanae male of large stature, covered in heavy Banished war armor. The armor is primarily maroon with dark gray plating and metallic accents. His helmet has a wide flaring crest with angular black ridges running vertically down the center and extending outward, covering the top and sides of his head. His face is partially exposed, showing a broad snout, visible fangs, and a gray beard extending from his chin. The shoulder pauldrons are broad and angular, segmented into reinforced layers. His chestplate is squared and ridged, with armored extensions protecting his abdomen and sides. The forearm guards are heavy and protruding, equipped with layered plating that covers his wrists and part of his hands. His waist and thighs are wrapped in banded armor that combines overlapping plates with underlying flexible material. His leg armor includes reinforced knee plates and shin guards, with large armored boots ending in his hoof-like toes.

The United Nations Space Command (UNSC) is the military, exploratory, and scientific agency of the Unified Earth Government (UEG) and has acted as the emergency governing body of the human race at large for a time.

The Battle for Zeta Halo was a large multi-faction battle that took place starting on December 12, 2559, prominently between the United Nations Space Command and the Banished on the Forerunner Halo Installation 07, otherwise known as "Zeta Halo", and continues as of around mid-2560. The earlier stages of battle ultimately led to the death of Cortana, the deactivations of her Guardians and the splintering of the Created in various fiefdoms and fledgling cells while simultaneously severely damaging Installation 07, making it a turning point of the Created uprising, although the conflict itself continued as of 2560.

The Banished are a multi-species confederation of pirates and raiding clans. Acting as mercenaries, the organization's goals have been described as attaining power in their raids across the Orion Arm, while their killers and mercenaries plunder treasure in the name of their own free will.

They were formed and led by the Jiralhanae warmaster Atriox after rebelling against the Covenant. The Banished are primarily composed of Jiralhanae and have incorporated Sangheili, humans, Mgalekgolo, Unggoy, Huragok, and Kig-Yar, as Atriox denounced vengeance between species as a petty restriction in the way of gaining rewards and treasures.

The Valorguards of the Chosen are a Sangheili mercenary clan within the Banished, with General Inka 'Saham as a prominent member.

Following the dissolution of the Covenant, the remnants of the Bloodstars were absorbed into the Banished. Atriox created a new iteration of the unit and tasked it with a new purpose of hunting and killing dangerous enemies; against the UNSC, this translated into killing Spartans.
