- #1Land of Ooo
Keys: Land of Ooo, Ooo
The Land of Ooo, or simply Ooo, is the main Continent in Post-apocalyptic Earth, the result of a global disaster called the Mushroom War, with ruined pieces of modern technology scattered across the land. The Land of Ooo is divided into many different kingdoms, of which the most prominent are the Ice Kingdom, the Candy Kingdom, the Earldom of Lemongrab, Wildberry Kingdom, the Fire Kingdom, and the Cloud Kingdom. Other notable geographical areas are the Evil Forest and the Bad Lands. There is a kingdom in the realm known as Lumpy Space, but it is in another dimension, and therefore not part of Ooo. Ooo is very close to the massive crater if not inside it; the crater seemed to be covering what used to be Europe. To the north of Ooo is the Sea of Something, which contains a small island chain called the Shiney Isles. On a northern peninsula near the Ice Kingdom are the Unknown Lands that have a purple hue. An island in the northwest corner of the map is called the Cloud Forest, covered in clouds with trees on top of them. The Sea of Sure Death is off of the southwest coast of Ooo, near the Lost Cliffs, with a dragon in the sea near there. The Isle of Steam is off the coast of Ooo next to the Fire Kingdom. Just to the south of it is the mysterious Chicken Blood Cove. The Squid Ink Sea is to the southeast of Ooo and features several islands. In the ocean near there is a Whirlpool of Sharks. The Floating Gems appear to be diamond-cut isles floating in the sea on the easternmost edge of the Land of Ooo. The Haunted Swamp is just east of the Grass Lands and north of the Spooky Forest. The Hole Near the Center of the World is a hole near the middle of Ooo. Most kingdoms are ruled by one or more members of royalty. The Grand Meeting of Ooo Royalty shows that the various rulers of Ooo meet together (except Earl of Lemongrab) for discussions on a regular basis. A similar event called Princess Day is also held every year. One of the primary deities worshipped in Ooo is Grob Gob Glob Grod. The Cosmic Owl apparently is also known as some kind of spiritual entity that appears in premonition dreams. Ooo has a number of other potentially godlike beings such as Party God and Death. Most of the inhabitants of Ooo speak English, but other languages, such as German and Korean, are also spoken by a certain individuals and entire species.
- #2Earth
Keys: The world, Earth
Earth is a terrestrial planet in the universe that holds the Land of Ooo after the apocalyptic event. The Great Mushroom War resulted in numerous environmental and physical changes, the most notable being that of a large crater. The crater was caused by the a Mushroom Bomb or an advanced electromagnetic energy weapon. Earth has four continents left on the planet. There are a set of islands miles away from Ooo where the last humans settled, isolating them from the rest of the world. Despite the apocalyptic events in the past there remains a diverse range of life on the Earth, much of which now displays signs of sentience (e.g. talking insects, animals, and plants); however, due to the war, most of the planet's current inhabitants have undergone some form of mutation due to the radiation from the Great Mushroom War including beings which were previously not living creatures. Magic also runs rampant across Earth. Merging magic with science happen frequently.
- #3The Human Islands

The Human Islands are a small cluster of Islands to the southwest of Ooo inhabited by Humans. They are known as the Founders' Island, Hub Island, Better Reality Island, and Back-To-Nature Island. After the Mushroom War, a group of human survivors (also known as the Founders) left what later became Ooo due to the mutants and magical beings that made it a dangerous environment to live in. The humans then came upon the four islands and settled there. They also built a Guardian to prevent any monsters from coming to the islands and preventing any of the island inhabitants from leaving without being killed by it. The Islands are the birthplace of Finn and most other humans. The Islands government closely resembled a Meritocratic-based Technocracy rule by few highly intellectual authoritative figures (Helpers) to control all colonies.

Founder's Island is the main island in the archipelago, the others being Hub Island, Back-To-Nature Island, and Better Reality Island. They developed their technology to beyond pre-war levels, reinventing cars, robotics, advanced healthcare, virtual reality, and much more. They also colonized two other islands in the chain: Hub Island, and the unnamed Better Reality Island, where humans could retreat into a virtual world.

Some of these careers include helpers (doctors and nurses), seekers (people who would prevent people from leaving the island), and experimenters (people who make gadgets and toys). Most humans chose to follow the Founders' plan, which meant staying on the islands away from the danger of the outside world. Those who didn't were known as "hiders." The island was originally a barren red mountain, but after colonization, many buildings and tubes were made, establishing a full colony. - #8Mushroom War
Keys: Mushroom War, mutagenic bomb, mutagenic bombs
The Mushroom War ,also referred to as the Great Mushroom War, was an apocalyptic event that occurred roughly a thousand years ago. It was a global nuclear exchange that occurred sometime between the late 20th and early 21st centuries. The Earth physically was completely and forever transformed by the conflict, and by its end the entire planet was devastated. The war crippled and eventually resulted in the near total annihilation of the Human species, and left their civilization in ruins throughout the Land of Ooo. Fortunately, Humanity was not completely killed off, as some tribes of humans survived on the Human Islands. The aftermath of the conflict resulted in the birth of entirely new races of people, many of them offshoots of the original humans species. Not much is known about the Mushroom War or the events leading up to it, except that it ended with all-out nuclear exchange between major world powers and a mutagenic bomb being dropped on what was once North America. The Mushroom War resulted in the mass extinction of the Human race, with a large amount likely dying instantly due to the nuclear detonations. The Mutagenic Bomb was a doomsday weapon dropped on a major city somewhere in North America. The bomb's detonation devastated the surrounding city, its distinct mushroom cloud made up of many green, howling faces. An unknown person near the detonation site was possessed by the Lich, leading to his awakening, with several unknown figures also emerging from the blast. The bomb's detonation contributed heavily to the re-emergence of magic, with the bomb implied to have magical properties.

Despite having the appearance of an abandoned factory, MO Co. still maintains various services that were likely established before the war. However, they are only available to MOs and include services such as maintenance, memory wipes, and facility tours. Most of these are provided by DMO near the entrance of the facility. The facility has a fully operational security system that is run by the SMOs. Non-MO personnel are prohibited from entering MO Co. and security breaches are dealt with using lethal force. Despite its name, Wizard City functions as a city-state. Its acting ruler is the Grand Master Wizard, who resides in a round white palace in a walled courtyard within the city. In addition to ruling the affairs of the wizard community, the Grand Master Wizard also directly deals with serious threats and is also required to negotiate with foreign leaders.
