   CatNap is an anthropomorphic cat with purple fur, triangular ears, a black nose and a very long tail. His paws and the insides of his ears are a darker shade of purple. His scent is lavender. He usually wears a hoodie and carries a blanket around with him. He is close friends with DogDay.

   CatNap is tired, relaxed and can usually be found sleeping. He's the chill person of the Smiling Critters friend group and the mood is lightened whenever he's around. He always wears a golden crescent moon pendant. He's the only Smiling Critter with an ability, and that's to release some red gas that is sleep-inducing.

2. #2DogDayselective

   Keys: DogDay

   DogDay is an anthro canine with orange fur, floppy ears, and a sleek black nose. He has a sunshine-yellow outer mouth and belly, with a touch of golden brown gracing his paws, ears, and the left side of his face. He has a vanilla scent. He is close friends with CatNap.

   DogDay is the sunny, strong, and determined leader of the Smiling Critters friend group. He always looks at the bright side of things and encourages others in their time of need. He has a fear of wind, as do the other Smiling Critters (save for CatNap). DogDay's opposite is Baba Chops, as DogDay is an extrovert while Baba Chops is an introvert.

3. #3Bobby BearHugselective

   Keys: Bobby BearHug, Bobby

   Bobby BearHug is a female anthro bear with red fur, black eyes, a black nose, rounded ears, and padded paws. Her paws, upper snout, and belly are rose pink, similar to the inside of her ears. She has a rose scent. Bobby's opposite is Poe, as Bobby is loving while Poe is hating.

   Bobby is kind, caring, and motherly. She cares deeply about her friends and everything around her, and will act as a peacemaker if a fight breaks out amidst the Smiling Critters. She is implied to have feelings for CraftyCorn, and can be seen as naive as she may care about someone who doesn't have her best intentions at heart. She has a fear of abandonment.

4. #4PickyPiggyselective

   Keys: PickyPiggy, Picky

   PickyPiggy is an anthro pig with pink skin, black eyes, a curly tail, a half-moon shaped upper snout, and ears curling inward. Her hooves and snout, along with the inside of her ears, are a darker shade of pink. She has a citrus scent. Picky's opposite is Maggie Mako, as Picky promotes eating healthy food while Maggie eats unhealthily.

   Picky is a healthy eater who loves food and encourages her friends to eat a well-balanced diet, though she has a secret fondness for cheeseburgers and PB&J sandwiches. She's also really good at cooking, often inviting the other Critters (and Baba Chops if Roman/DogDay brings them along) to cook with them.

5. #5Bubba Bubbaphantselective

   Keys: Bubba Bubbaphant, Bubba

   Bubba Bubbaphant is an anthropomorphic cyan elephant with black eyes, a S-shaped trunk, a long tail with a bulb-shaped end, and large ears. His feet, hands, and tail end, as well as the inside of his trunk and ears, are blue. He has a lemongrass scent. Bubba's opposite is Rabie Baby, as Bubba tells people facts while Rabie spreads lies and rumors.

   Bubba is the most intelligent of the Smiling Critters and acts as the brain of the gang. He's bright, attentive, and close friends with KickinChicken, the two harboring feelings for each other. He's observant and level-headed.

6. #6CraftyCornselective

   Keys: CraftyCorn, Crafty

   CraftyCorn is an anthropomorphic unicorn with white skin, black eyes, horse ears, and a silver spiral horn protruding from the center of her head. Her hooves, mane and tail are colored sky blue, similar to the inside of her ears. Her scent is jasmine and her opposite is Simon Smoke, as she's a shy girl while he's a popular boy.

   CraftyCorn is creative, artistic, and shy. She's a talented painter and can often be found painting or drawing something. She's timid and jumpy, the biggest coward of the Smiling Critters. Bobby BearHug is implied to have feelings for her.

7. #7KickinChickenselective

   Keys: KickinChicken, Kickin

   KickinChicken is an anthropomorphic chicken with yellow feathers, four-digit wings, a half-moon-shaped upper beak, and a three-feathered crown extending down the right side of his face. His feet and upper beak have an orange color. He has a Ylang-ylang scent and his opposite is Icky Licky, as he's the cool athletic guy while Icky's a sore loser.

   Kickin is the cool kid of the Smiling Critters. He has a strong sense of determination and is sporty, but is also prone to fear. He seems to have feelings for Bubba Bubbaphant.

8. #8Hoppy Hopscotchselective

   Keys: Hoppy Hopscotch, Hoppy

   Hoppy Hopscotch is an anthropomorphic lime green rabbit with a black nose, and long ears. Her paws are green, similar to the rounded T-shape design in the inside of her ears. Her scent is peppermint and her opposite is Allister Gator, as she is energetic while he is lazy.

   Hoppy is energetic, enthusiastic, and is particularly fond of outdoor sports. She can sometimes be loud, bossy, and impatient, but she also demonstrates eagerness to help others and slow down accordingly.

9. #9Baba Chopsselective

   Keys: Baba Chops, Baba

   Baba Chops is an anthropomorphic sheep, characterized by black wool that complements her cotton tail. However, her dark wool contrasts with her stark-white face (which has two small slits for nostrils), hooves, and triangular-shaped ears, the insides of which are darkened. She has an anise scent.

   Baba is angsty, distant, and quiet. She keeps her interactions with her friends to a minimum and is apathetic, the tenacity of her friends usually forcing her to emerge from her house to join them on their adventures. She always ends up having a fun outing with her friends but regresses back into her reclusive habits by the next day.

10. #10Icky Lickyselective

    Keys: Icky Licky, Icky

    Icky Licky is an anthropomorphic poison dart frog, characterized by black-purple skin that complements his eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed in a permanent glare. His features extend to bright yellow bands that encircle his face and body, and they compose the tips of his amphibian fingers and toes. He has a coffee scent.

    Icky is a sore loser with a hyper-competitive streak. He has talent, but it is eclipsed by his arrogance. This arrogance causes him to vastly underestimate his opponents, ultimately ending in his chronic defeat which he blames on outside factors. His personality is possibly a facade, one used to hide an inferiority complex that festers and grows inside of him.

11. #11Rabie Babyselective

    Keys: Rabie Baby, Rabie

    Rabie Baby is an anthropomorphic bat, characterized by white fur that complements her expressive eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed in a permanent glare. Her features extend to pink wing membranes, hindlimbs, and ears (the insides of which are pink), while a touch of magenta graces her forelimbs (along with the claws on top), talons, and around her eyes. Her scent is bubblegum.

    Rabie is the gossiper of the Nightmare Critters, being mentally incapable of keeping secrets and not allowing others to keep their secrets from her. She will do everything within her power to obtain even the smallest morsel of gossip, and this nature has caused others to become wary of her presence. If she can't obtain any stories, she will make up her own gossip, causing her stories to have a greater chance of being inaccurate.

12. #12Allister Gatorselective

    Keys: Allister Gator, Allister

    Allister Gator is an anthropomorphic alligator, characterized by lime green scales that complement his long reptilian tail and expressive eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to a light yellow-green lower jaw and belly, while a touch of army-green graces his claws, feet, eyebrows, tail spines, and the striped parallel patterns on both his elbows and knees. He has a sandalwood scent.

    Allister is the slacker of the Nightmare Critters, possessing a laid-back attitude and lacking drive and ambition. He is a firm and devout believer of the philosophy: "Good things come to those who wait", and the only time he puts effort into something is when his friends actively force him to.

13. #13Simon Smokeselective

    Keys: Simon Smoke, Simon

    Simon Smoke is an anthropomorphic dragon, characterized by light reddish-orange scales that complement his long reptilian tail, thin eyebrows, and expressive eyes, which have triangular eyelashes and (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to white wing membranes, an underbelly, and ears (the insides of which are white), while a touch of crimson red graces his talons, mane, and wing bones. He houses yellow tail spikes and two curved horns, and he wears a yellow rectangular earring on his left ear. His scent is wood smoke.

    Simon is the popular kid of the Nightmare Critters, and is egotistical and pompous. He frequently gloats about his accomplishments and shows off, said accomplishments rarely being matched or surpassed by anyone else's. His popularity keeps the other Critters from discovering that he's nothing more than a monstrous bully, someone who's masked his true nature for years.

14. #14Poeselective

    Keys: Poe

    Poe is an anthropomorphic raven, characterized by a violet indigo plumage that complements their thin eyebrows and expressive eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. Their features extend to a dark purple beak, belly, and hindlimbs. Her scent is cinnamon.

    Poe is introverted and hates the sun, preferring to be in the dark. She has a strong affinity for graveyards and often broods and listens to music there. She suffers from anger issues and insists that her nighttime routine is not a phase.

15. #15Touilleselective

    Keys: Touille

    Touille is an anthropomorphic rat, characterized by musty gray fur that complements his thin eyebrows and expressive eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to a light silver outer mouth and belly, while a touch of salmon pink graces his nose, tail, and the inside of his circular-shaped ears. (His left ear is slightly torn.) Touille's scent is petrichor.

    Touille is the hoarder of the Nightmare Critters, frequenting garbage disposals to consume and obtain any junk he can get his little paws on. He's a high-spirited chatterbox and will contribute to a conversation, but his conversational skills are extremely inadequate. As a result, he can neither adapt to changing discussion topics nor add to an existing topic.

16. #16Maggie Makoselective

    Keys: Maggie, Maggie Mako

    Maggie Mako is an anthropomorphic shark, characterized by turquoise skin that complements her thin eyebrows and expressive eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. Her features extend to teal claws, feet, head fin, and tail (the upper portion of which contains a small triangular divot), while a touch of white graces her lower jaw, belly, and markings surrounding her eyes. Maggie has the scent of chocolate.

    Maggie is the food lover of the Nightmare Critters, at her happiest only when she's gorging on food. Her eating habits consist mostly of sugary substances, as she possesses a serious sweet tooth. She abhors veggies and couldn't car eless about healthy eating, openly mocking anyone who tries to give her advice on that topic.
