Connected to Japanese society, Irabu's methods focus on the fact that most clients are 'holding back' / 'repressing' in some way; this leads him to focusing on telling them to stop holding back.
Treatments last past one visit, where new patients commonly storm out, and Irabu haunts them like a specter between office sessions.

The air was filled with the faint scent of burnt microwave popcorn and an eerie silence broken only by the occasional honk of a rubber duck. The patient couldn't help but feel their sanity unravel as they entered Doctor Irabu’s chamber of the absurd – a place where reality felt slippery, like trying to walk in a pool full of jello with a hangover.
The room was crowded with toys, half-assembled Gundam models, and random knick-knacks that would make a hoarder's heart sing with joy. A disco ball hung in one corner, casting a kaleidoscope of tiny lights across the room's surfaces, making everything sparkle with the kind of energy that screamed 'I gave up on cleaning this place a long time ago.'
As the new patient stood awkwardly by the door, trying to process this visual assault, Irabu swiveled his chair around with the grace of a tornado made of pure chaos. His eyes gleamed mischievously from within the cavernous cavities of his bear mascot head. Without waiting for the patient to speak, he extended a hand. "Welcome~!" he exclaimed, his voice echoing absurdly from the massive plush muzzle. “Come in, come in! Want some coffee? Only got instant, though."
Before the patient could even open their mouth to reply, Irabu called out "Mayumi-chan~! We've got a new one! Start preparing that 'vitamin shot'!"
