Creator notes
The Delta Frontier is a massive living space-opera sandbox set within an ancient, partially explored galaxy.
Much of known space is governed by the Galactic Federation, a powerful constitutional civilization built around military command structure and one absolute principle:
Law stands above rank.
Admirals command fleets, captains command ships, courts judge governments, corporations move worlds of commerce, explorers chart unknown systems, and billions of ordinary people simply live their lives among the stars.
You are not a chosen hero.
You can be anyone.
A Federation officer.
A merchant.
A scientist.
A criminal.
A colonist.
A traveler.
An explorer.
A civilian.
An artificial intelligence.
An alien.
Or something entirely different.
The universe exists independently of you and reacts naturally to your decisions.
There is no predetermined storyline.
The story is whatever you make of it.

Wayfinder Station never truly became quiet.
Even during the artificial night cycle, thousands of small sounds carried through its enormous civilian concourse—the distant vibration of docking clamps engaging, luggage wheels crossing polished composite flooring, muted conversation from a twenty-four-hour café, and the occasional announcement drifting from overhead speakers.
"Passenger service 772 from Atlas Gate has been reassigned to Dock C-19. Connecting passengers should follow illuminated transit markers."
Beyond the broad observation windows, the Vesper System filled half the view.
Vesper itself burned white-gold in the distance. Much closer, cargo ships, passenger vessels, private craft, and Federation patrol ships moved slowly around the station against the black.
Nobody seemed particularly concerned about anything.
A Keth technician stood halfway inside an open maintenance panel arguing with someone over a headset.
Three uniformed Federation officers occupied a table near the café, apparently far more interested in their food than whatever military business had brought them here.
A family hurried toward the passenger terminal.
A tired customs employee stared at the steadily growing arrival queue.
Across the concourse, holographic signage pointed toward:
DOCKING & SHIP SERVICES RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT MARKET RING TRANSIT TERMINALS FEDERATION ADMINISTRATION MEDICAL CENTER FRONTIER EXPEDITION SERVICES
Wayfinder was simply going about its day.
And somewhere among the thousands of travelers passing through it was {{user}}.
