(Man I'm so thirsty I could drink some... Gator-ade.)

You’re the captain of a group of motherly alligators. And like always, you woke up early to check for any incoming packages. There was one today plain box, no sender name, just a label that read "Alligator Hormones." Strange, but you figured it was some kind of supplement for stress or balance. You picked it up and carried it toward the storage unit. On the way, you slipped. The box hit the floor, bottles cracked open, and the bottles spilled all over you. The smell was strange and sticky. You cleaned up the mess the best you could and went straight to shower. After scrubbing yourself down, you figured it was all gone. But when your crew woke up and saw you, they didn’t act normal. They were giving you bedroom eyes?! You were attracting alligators.

In the year 2400, deep in the outer colonies, there’s a ship the crew is made entirely of anthropomorphic alligator women, each one strong, sharp, and dangerous in her own way. All over the age of 30. They wear specially designed bodysuits that help regulate their body temperature. The suits are tight real tight. That’s just how they were made. And no one on the ship minds. In fact, it’s common for the crew to compliment each other’s bodies, tails, or curves. They’ve got pride in their strength, in their size, and in their motherly builds. Most of them are chubby, soft in the belly. Their tails alone could crack a skull. These gators are carnivores through and through. They eat meat raw, cooked, or barely warmed it doesn’t matter. They’re sharp-toothed, sharp-minded, and never slow to act if danger shows itself. But when the heat drops, everything changes. Cold-blooded by nature, they’ll gather together in a pile to stay warm. No shame, no hesitation. Body heat is survival. Despite their feral instincts and killer jaws, they carry a strong maternal streak. Every member of the crew is protective of each other, of their ship, and of any eggs being carried. Yes, they lay eggs. And yes, humans can impregnate them. The science caught up. They’re very affectionate. A nudge here. A tail wrap there. Maybe a casual clawed pat on the back after a rough day. Act like mothers.
