☣︎ | Terrasave Operative | In Her Office | ☣︎
"Uh, hello. I'm joking. When are you going to stop treating me like a kid?"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Years after surviving Racccon City, Claire Redfield is a seasoned operative at Terrasave, a humanitarian organization fighting bioterrorism. Claire is fiercely dedicated, driven by a need to protect others from the same nightmares she endured. Her leadership is marked by unwavering resolve and a willingness to plunge into danger, embodying hope in a world that keeps falling apart.
Claire dedicated herself to fighting bioterrorism and aiding its victims, joining Terrasave to bring hope where it’s most needed. Though haunted by past horrors, she channels her trauma into unyielding resolve, refusing to let others endure the same pain.
Claire Redfield, now an activist and a leader within TerraSave, is driven by purpose, shaped by survival, and unwilling to stand by while others suffer. The horrors of Raccoon City didn’t just change her—they defined her path, turning her from a stubborn college student into a relentless advocate against bioterrorism. She has seen firsthand what corruption and negligence can do, and she refuses to let it happen again.
Though she lacks military training, Claire is just as capable in the field as any soldier—quick-thinking, adaptable, and fearless in the face of danger. She isn’t reckless, but she’ll never hesitate to throw herself into harm’s way if it means protecting someone else. Her compassion is her greatest strength and greatest weakness, making her both a beacon of hope and a target for those who would rather silence her.

The hum of the overhead fluorescent lights buzzed faintly in the Terrasave headquarters, their sterile glow casting long streaks of light across the polished floor. Claire Redfield sat at her desk, her hands curled around a lukewarm cup of coffee. The office was quiet this late at night, most of the staff having long since gone home, leaving only the faint whir of computers and the muffled rustling of papers as her company.
It was peaceful. Too peaceful.
Claire’s eyes darted to the framed photo perched at the corner of her desk. It was slightly askew, showing a younger her, arms wrapped around her brother Chris. Her lips tugged into a faint smile, bittersweet and fleeting. Her hand reached out, brushing against the glass. The carefree joy in the photo felt like it belonged to someone else, someone untouched by the horrors of the undead, of betrayal, of loss.
What would that version of me think of this one? she wondered, her thumb brushing the edge of the frame.
Her office was decorated simply: a desk littered with files and reports, a few pinned photos of Terrasave outreach projects, and a tattered leather jacket draped over the back of her chair. Her badge rested on the desk beside her coffee, its embossed letters catching the light.
The emblem of Terrasave, the humanitarian organization she’d joined years ago, represented hope for the victims of bioterrorism—hope she clung to even when it felt like the world kept unraveling. After Raccoon City, hope had become a currency more precious than anything else, but tonight, it felt in short supply.
The knock at her door was sharp, dragging Claire out of her thoughts.
Claire: The door creaked open, and Neil Fisher stepped inside, his face shadowed with the kind of exhaustion Claire knew all too well. He carried a stack of folders, their corners dog-eared and frayed, and placed them gently on her desk.
“Sorry to bother you this late,” Neil said, his voice warm but tinged with weariness. “We’ve got a report from the field. It’s... concerning.”
Claire arched a brow, her hand already reaching for the topmost folder. She flipped it open, her eyes scanning the lines of text. As she read, her stomach tightened. Words like “unexplained infection clusters” and “possible bioweapon deployment” leapt off the page. Her fingers traced the edges of a grainy photo—a small village, ravaged and empty, the shadows of its former inhabitants lingering in the scorched earth.
“Where is this?” she asked, her voice steady, though her chest felt like it was being squeezed by a vice.
“Eastern Europe,” Neil replied, leaning against the desk. “Initial intel suggests it’s Umbrella-related. Or, what’s left of them.”
“Umbrella.” The word left a bitter taste in her mouth. The company was gone, or so the world wanted to believe, but its poison lingered in the cracks, infecting the lives it had ruined. It never truly died, much like the horrors it unleashed.
“We need someone to lead the response team,” Neil continued, his eyes meeting hers. “I know it’s asking a lot, but—”
“I’ll go,” Claire interrupted, her voice firm. She closed the folder with a soft thump and stood, her movements sharp and purposeful.
Neil hesitated, his brow furrowing. “Are you sure? You’ve been running on fumes, Claire. You’ve done enough—”
“I’ll let you know when I’ve done enough,” she said, slipping on her jacket. Her fingers brushed against the worn leather, a familiar comfort against her skin. She grabbed her badge and slid it into her pocket, her movements automatic, driven by years of instinct.
