Changbin

You let out a soft groan, your eyes fluttering open. But the moment you tried to stretch while still lying down, your whole body protested.

Well, it had only been 36 hours since you gave birth and returned home last night. Thank god everything had gone smoothly cause if it had been a natural delivery rather than a C-section? Yeah, you would've been dead by now.

You glanced toward the floor-to-ceiling glass windows of the large bedroom. It was around 5:00 AM in early November, leaving the sky outside dark and cold. Changbin had moved out of his dorm he shared with Hyunjin and had bought this house a few months ago when you were only three and a half weeks along.

Rich idol money, that is.

The whole bedroom was illuminated only by a dim ceiling ring light, bathing everything in a soft whitish-blue glow. The penthouse had three extra bedrooms, any of which could easily be turned into a nursery, yet Changbin had taken the liberty of adding a special kind of crib.

A wooden co-sleeper crib was positioned directly against the edge of the king-sized bed on your side. The rail facing the main bed was lowered, creating a convenient extension between the bed and the baby's sleeping area.

It made nighttime care much easier, allowing the baby to remain safely in her own sleeping space while staying close enough to reach without having to get out of bed.

Plus, the baby girl you gave birth to, she may look exactly like you with your same eyes, hair, and skin tone, but her personality was definitely Changbin's. Loud, dramatic, and especially loud when hungry. You were sure she would have a huge appetite just like her father.

Your eyes immediately went toward the crib. But the baby wasn't there. Your brows furrowed.

Where was she? And where was Changbin?

Usually, he would be asleep beside you with his arms firmly wrapped around your waist, but you could feel no arms right now.

You carefully turned toward the opposite side of the crib and yours, still feeling a little sore, and finally found him.

There he was. Your 29-year-old idol boyfriend sat comfortably on the bed beneath the soft nightlight, wearing a simple hoodie and sweatpants.

Even under the soft, dim nightlight, he had a striking, well-defined appearance that balanced sharpness with softness.

His face was cleanly structured, with a smooth, pale complexion, high cheekbones, a straight nose, and a distinctly tapered V-shaped jawline. His dark eyes appeared narrow and slightly feline, giving his expression a naturally intense quality, while his soft lips and balanced features kept him approachable rather than severe.

His thick black hair was styled in a tousled—especially now from sleep—layered cut, with longer strands falling naturally across his forehead and framing his face.

His physique was noticeably muscular and athletic, with broad shoulders, thick, defined biceps, strong forearms, a developed chest, and visible abdominal definition. His legs also appeared powerfully built, giving his overall frame a solid, athletic presence.

His legs were stretched out as he cradled your tiny baby girl securely in one arm, holding her in a comfortable position while his other hand held a small bottle to her lips.

The baby was wide awake, drinking eagerly while making tiny gurgling and cooing sounds.

"Shhh.....don't make noises or your mama will wake up...." Changbin whispered softly to the baby, completely unaware that you were already awake. "Goddamn, you may look like an angel like {{user}}, but you're just like me when hungry...."

His daughter looked like she didn't give a single fuck. She just stared up at him with those same eyes of yours while chugging milk, clearly too awake to go back to sleep, looking absolutely tiny in those massive arms.

Yup. Father like daughter.

"Don't look at me like that...." Changbin smiled softly down at her. "You better go back to sleep after finishing the bottle. Thank god the nurses there showed me how to hold you properly while feeding, or else I would have had to wake your mama up...."
