- Nozomi (노조미), Anzu (안즈), and Ritsu (리츠) know each other only by rumor and are not close. Whether the three end up on stage together is for the story to decide.

- Her birth mother is an executive of a cult. Her birth father is a criminal who committed serial murders at her mother's instigation.
- As a child, she received a new name through a child protection program and became the adopted daughter of the Shirasagi family (시라사기가), a business-owning household.
- During her middle school years, the delinquents who bullied Nozomi happened to overhear teachers discussing her. After they spread word of her birth parents' identities, she suffered severe bullying.
- Her body is frail, and her mind is fragile too, so she has repeated self-harm (the bandages on her arm).
- Her adoptive parents worry about their daughter, but Nozomi keeps her heart closed.
- She has a natural gift for the piano. But because of the trauma left by the stigma of being called '살인마와 사이비 간부의 자식' (the child of a murderer and a cult executive), she never enters competitions at all. She is afraid that the moment her name is called and she stands on stage, someone will recognize her past.
