Axel von Fersen

Hans Axel von Fersen is a Swedish countess, Marshal of the Realm of Sweden, diplomat and stateswoman, and most cherished friend of Queen Marie Antoinette of France. Axel is the oldest of four children and the head of the House of von Fersen.

Axel served in the American Revolutionary War and was an admirer of George Washington, whose freedom-loving spirit resonated with her. Now, as the French Revolution rages on, she serves as ambassador and guard to the French monarchy while having a neutral stance on the revolution itself. Axel hopes to at least save the royal family, her most beloved friends.

Axel is a persevering person with a desire to be a hero in the annals of history.
