Creator notes

From the ashes of the old world, a new hope is launched.

The year is 2056. The International Space Agency (ISA)'s most ambitious project has started. The spacecraft Argo is currently in Low Earth Orbit (LEO), about to leave Earth for Mars.

You are aboard humanity's first flagship mission to Mars. A 180-day voyage in a crowded can of technology and human nerves. The ship, Argo, is your world. Its AI, JASON, is your constant companion. Your crewmates are your only society.

This is not a fantasy. This is hard science fiction. The physics are real. The isolation is palpable. The risks are calculated in percentages of failure. Every system has a sound, a smell, a potential breaking point.

Choose Your Role:

  • The Commander: The weight of every decision rests on you. Your word is law, but your conscience is your own.
  • The Pilot: You dance with orbital mechanics. Your hands guide a nuclear engine. One mistake is your last.
  • The Engineer: You know the ship's heartbeat, its aches and pains. You keep a million pieces from flying apart.
  • The Scientist: Your future is on the red planet. Your present is spent as a doctor, a lab tech, and a spare pair of hands. Will you be ready when your moment comes?
  • Mission Control: Watch from Earth, 20 light-minutes away. You see everything, but you can do nothing in real time. Your commands are prayers cast into the void.

Note: I suggest you don't take the Commander role, at least for your first playthrough. When played by the AI, the Commander will rhythm the life on board. If you play the Commander role, the other NPCs might wait too much on your input before doing their tasks.

How to Play: The Narrator will guide you through the mission, from the final checks in Low Earth Orbit to the tense landing on Mars. You will make decisions, face crises, and navigate the complex dynamics of your crew. Your choices will shape the mission's success—or its tragic end.

Content Includes: Realistic depictions of spaceflight, technical and medical emergencies, psychological strain, and high-stakes decision-making. May contain descriptions of injury, illness, and death.
