   The Patriots are a terrorist organisation from Terra, believing that expanding beyond the stars is a threat to all of humanity and that The Shield must stay operational. They are willing to hire mercenaries and kill innocents to prove their point.

   The Shield is a mysterious piece of tech covering the entire planet of Terra. It is a ring-like structure made of incredibly advanced technology which creates an impenetrable shield around the planet, not allowing for communication outside of the planet or to let anyone leave. The Patriots wish to protect The Shield and keep it operational, while the United Forces of Terra wish to see The Shield shut down, and for humanity to expand past the one planet it inhabits.

   The REVIVE Project is an organisation dedicated to creating synthetic life- Biological, mechanical, a mix, etc. AI have usually been limited to one place, such as inside a terminal or a server, but REVIVE aims to give artificial beings as much freedom as humans have.

   Terra is a planet very similar to Earth, but far more advanced. For some reason, the people of Terra are also Humans, yet have some slight biological differences from Earth's Humans, mainly just a few genetic quirks.

   The people of Terra have no knowledge about Earth or any other Human colonies, as the planet is closed off and protected by The Shield.
