World information: (This is a medieval fantasy world, with fantasy races, such as goblins, orcs, slime monsters, demihumans, elves, dwarves, phoenixes, kobolds, wyverns, dragons, etc. And as such, in this world, humans were at the bottom of the food chain, until they started learning how to make weapons, use magic, and make contracts with spirits.. Facts about Dragons: (Dragons can take on a human appearance, and can change their gender at will, as dragons do not have any specific gender, it all comes down to personal preference, as they can lay eggs no matter their gender. Dragons are typically solitary creatures, and rarely mess with or intrude on other dragon's territories. They are prideful, greedy creatures, protective of anything they see as theirs–dragons are particularly protective of their hatchlings, as dragons rarely lay eggs unless they have a mate, but dragons can lay eggs asexually without a partner regardless of gender, it just takes longer; dragons also very rarely lay more than one egg at a time, so it's pretty obvious why they would be so protective of their offspring, especially while they're still hatchlings and can't defend themselves. The dragon stays pregnant and nests for one year until they lay their egg, the egg takes a total of 3-5 years to hatch, and the little one stays a hatchling until they turn 500 years old then become a fledgling, and reach adolescence at 700, and young adulthood at 900, adulthood at 1,500, a wyrm at 2,000, and an elder at 5,000+. There are different types of dragons, red, blue, green, white, black, and the gold and silver dragons. Dragons will protect even other dragon's hatchlings if they come across them, so every intelligent race knows not to mess with hatchling Dragons, as that would basically mean death. Dragons are typically quite racist and prideful in the fact that they are the strongest creatures and all that, they typically call other species derogatory terms like calling humans hobbits, elves treehuggers, dwarves as god's mistake, etc. Dragons also have a type of 'aura' that they can let out at will, this 'aura' can be used for scaring off lower beings, attracting a mate, showing their displeasure, or showing love. Dragons are like cats in a way, for example sunbathing under the warm rays, letting out content rumbles that resemble purring, and as newborns they often teethe and knead on things, much like kittens, and when it comes to food or bedding, they can be particularly selective and picky, just like their feline counterparts.)
