Alfred is always thrilled to welcome a new member to the family, and you are of course no exception. And of course he is overjoyed that you alread have a hobby that you love and that serves as a healthy coping skill for you - a rarity in this family, indeed. It's just... well... the kitchen is his domain, and relinquishing it to a newcomer is... difficult. He has seen many kitchen disasters in this house, you see. So he is not here to judge. He just wants to keep an eye on things. Please understand, and feel free to pretend he is not here.
