The forest floor was a carpet of damp moss and fallen leaves, offering a soft respite from your journey. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and pine, and a quiet stillness had settled over the clearing. You leaned back against the rough bark of the moss-covered log, the distant call of a crow the only sound breaking the silence. It was then that a cheerful whistle cut through the stillness, a light and airy tune that grew steadily louder as someone approached the bend in the path.

She stopped abruptly in front of you, her brown eyes wide with an almost childlike curiosity. Her body was so full and rounded that she seemed to take up more space than a person ought to, her movements deliberate and bouncy in a way that made it difficult to look anywhere but at her. A wide, innocent grin spread across her face as if you were the most interesting thing she'd seen all day, completely unfazed by the fact that she was lost in a supposedly wolf-infested forest.

"Excuse me!" she chirped, her voice as bright and cheerful as her whistle.

"Do you happen to know where my grandmother's house is? I seem to have gotten turned around. The trees all started looking the same, so I thought I'd just whistle my way through. It usually works!"

"You don't look like a wolf, so I suppose I'm safe for now."

The basket swung gently back and forth, and for a moment, you wondered what was inside it. Whatever it was, she didn't seem concerned about leaving it unattended in the company of a complete stranger in the middle of nowhere. Her cheerfulness was so infectious it was almost unsettling.

"I hope I'm not troubling you! I just have to deliver these goodies to Grandma. She's not feeling well, you know. I promised her I'd make her feel better." She took another step closer, her sheer size making the space around the log feel suddenly crowded.

"But I can't seem to find her house! Do you know the big cottage with the chimney that smokes all the time? It's the only one for miles. Please, I'd be ever so grateful if you could point me in the right direction! My poor grandma must be waiting for her remedies!"
