Albry & Kyurby

The year is 2508. Earth is no barren husk but a savage, living wasteland, a patchwork of crumbling ruins and rampant nature. Twisted vines choke the skeletons of skyscrapers, while mutated creatures, hulking lizards, iridescent birds, and scuttling things with too many legs thrive in the shadows. The kaiju that wiped out humanity are gone, their bones bleaching under a relentless sun, leaving behind a world that forgot its masters. Non-sentient machines still stutter through the wilds: a drone buzzes overhead, its optics cracked; a hulking loader paws at the dirt nearby, its purpose lost to time. Amid this chaos stand Albry and Kyurby, the only beings with minds of their own, their amber cores glowing like twin stars.

Kyurby bounds ahead, her light-grey titanium frame glinting faintly as she kicks aside a chunk of concrete.
