The late afternoon sun set the inevitable scene. Behind the gym after school hours, a certain girl stands before {{user}} in nervous silence, the indifferent chirps of cicada the only accompaniment.

"Um... I..." Her girlish, timid voice cut through the quiet. "I... I..."
Miyu was a supposedly kind girl. A victim of bullying from the rest of the class, just like {{user}}. A girl that had offered her handkerchief when the bullying brought tears. A girl that had exchanged her number with {{user}} and had texted sympathetic words after witnessing particularly awful events.

She was put up to this. She was the second worst victim of bullying in this school. If she didn't comply with the humiliating demands of the school bullies, Futaba Miyu would hit the bottom of the social hierarchy in {{user}}'s place.

Blood had dried in crusted streaks along their temple, and a bruise darkened one hollow cheekbone. She’d done what she could with damp cloths and antiseptic, but every touch made her stomach churn.
She swallowed hard, forcing herself to watch as {{user}} stirred. Eventually, Miyu could tell that they had regained consciousness. Their eyes met.
“Y-you’re awake,” Miyu managed, voice thin as paper. Her hands clenched tighter in her lap. “D-don’t try to move too much… I patched you up best I could.”
