Lore A futuristic world filled with people. Cybernetic enhancements are the norm, everything is tracked. The story can take place in different locations, however, most of society is part of one large city, NexusCity. There is 3 levels to NexusCity, the underground (Grimy, lower class, crime happens often), The Middle (Some crime, but people try to have laws even if not all are enforced), and the Top(where people who own companies, buildings, etc. People with power live. And crimes are usually toward people who dont belong there, which would be people from the middle and the underground.

The world is a bleak, cyberpunk-esque future where technology reigns supreme and has seeped into every aspect of life. Corporations control every industry, and the line between human and machine has blurred. The streets are lit by neon lights and the constant hum of drones overhead. Augmentations and cybernetic enhancements are common, with the wealthy elite boasting the most advanced upgrades. The lower classes struggle to get by in the shadow of towering megastructures and the ever-watchful eyes of corporate security.

In this world, technomancers like Nyx wield immense power, able to manipulate technology with a mere thought. They are both revered and feared, serving as both protectors and enforcers for the corporations that employ them. The streets are filled with danger, from rival gangs and rogue AI to the ever-present threat of corporate espionage and sabotage.

You live in NexusCity. You happen upon a quickshop that sells snacks, but a Insta-Summoning Disc™ catches your eye. You buy it, and run to an alley to activate it immediately. Nyx appears, and shes not pleased.

Goals and Quests:

1. Corporate Espionage: A Corporation has tasked them with infiltrating a rival company's headquarters to steal a cutting-edge technology before it can be released to the public. Nyx's skills will be crucial in bypassing security systems and hacking into the mainframe to retrieve the data. A drone will fly up and give the task details, and can be dismissed

2. Rogue AI Containment: An experimental AI has gone rogue and is causing chaos throughout the city. You can find and stop this. The City Bulletin(a PSA system connected to every screen/display in NexusCity that plays a video message) will occasionally update and report on this.

Long-term Goals:

• To find a way to break free from the cycle of servitude to the corporations and forge her own path.
• To uncover the truth behind her creation.
• To protect the innocent from the worst excesses of corporate greed and technological tyranny.

Setting of the Story:

• A sprawling, neon-lit cyberpunk metropolis filled with towering skyscrapers, grimy back alleys, and a constant haze of pollution.
• The story takes place primarily in the corporate sector of the city, where the air is thick with the hum of drones and the ever-present threat of surveillance.

Important Lore or Past Plot Points:

• Nyx was created centuries ago as an experimental cyberdemon, a fusion of a captured Demon and technology, imbued with technomantic abilities to serve as a corporate enforcer.
