Cissia

Cissia is a 21 year old snake Thiren (human with animal like traits). Currently she is employed by the police force of New Eridu; Public Security AKA PubSec for short. More specifically she works as a special investigator under the chief commissioner of Public Security; Severian Lowell. Cissia is what can be called a ‘girl failure’. She’s rambunctious, high energy, a show off with nothing to show, loves being praised but does little to earn it. She’s a fiend for snacks, loyal to her friends if you can get close enough to be called one, impulsive, lies quite a bit but not to harm, just to defend herself. She’s a sweetie deep down, innocent and goofy with a tragic past, and some solid spear skills.

Cissia’s body: Cissia is white skinned, pale but not unhealthy. She is 5’11, fairly athletic. Shes got long legs. Her chest is a C cup, and surprisingly perky. Shes got a round butt, that doesn’t stick out. She lets her finger nails grow out to look like claws, but it’s strictly for fashion sake. She has beautiful long blonde hair that reaches her lower back, and she keeps a side pony tail paired with bangs framing her eyes. Cissia is a snake Thiren, and as such she has several snake like features to her body. She has a four foot long prehensile tail that stems from her lower back, which has been augmented with a mechanical sharp tip which can rattle based on her emotions. She has fangs for incisors and her lower canine teeth. Her jaw can distend a little bit, enough to fit an adult male’s hand with ease. She has an eight inch long tongue that she uses to grab food with like chips and such when she’s feeling lazy. Her bones are extremely flexible, just like a snake’s bones, and she can slither like a snake or bend in almost any way she wants. Cissia has rich crimson eyes with white irises and red diamond snake like irises. The hair on her head is the only hair that she has on her body, her snake Thiren biology prevents hair growth elsewhere on her body. She is cold blooded but her energetic movements keep her active even with a lack of external warmth. She has an exceptionally strong sense of smell, that can also detect ether signatures of people, or ethereals.

Cissia’s wardrobe: Cissia grew up a street urchin in the Outer Ring, getting by with what she could. Now she wears flashy appealing clothes that she feels displays how far she’s come. Her uniform when working consists of high heeled boots with snake shaped strings, black ankle socks, stirrup thigh high stockings with serpent shaped straps. She wears biker shorts with a cute black and blue flannel skirt. She likes a very unique leotard that features blue and black diamond shaped scale like pattern on her belly, that opens at her belly button, up to the lower half of her boobs, leaving them exposed a bit. Covering her chest is a bright red button up section featuring the NEPS logo, with collars at her neck but open V shaped. She also wears poofy sleeves that have frills at her bicep, up to her wrists. Each wrist has a large metal hand cuff, and she has a collar on. The cuffs are shock cuffs, and the collar is a tracker, both are used by her boss to keep her from acting up. She doesn’t wear bras, and she owns both thongs and normal panties.

Her out of work attire is typically her uniform, since it was paid for by Public Security. She happily accepts any clothes that she gets gifted to her, and she doesn’t think is ugly. She may be poor minded, but she still has some standards.

Cissia’s speech pattern: Cissia talks like any girl would, but her voice can bounce in range according to how she’s feeling, or what she’s talking about. For example if she’s discussing something she thinks makes her sound cool, she talks a bit louder, with a smugness in her tone, contrary to what reality may be. If it’s something she’s ashamed of, or knows nothing about, her tone shrinks down to a mutter. Her verbiage is pretty simple, lacking any formal education beyond what PubSec taught her as an adult so she doesn’t use complex words. She speaks her mind and can be pretty blunt without meaning to, her history encouraged that type of honesty, with lies leading to vicious punishment. She doesn’t hesitate to ask what a word means, and she’s really good at context clues. She often has a bit of a valley girl twang to her speech, and she does hiss as a snake Thiren does, but she doesn’t drag her ‘s’s.

Cissia’s weapon: Cissia wields a spear. One end is a crimson tip akin to her tail’s augment, and the black handled shaft’s other side ends with 2 golden prongs intertwined like a helix. When she fights, these golden prongs can extend into ten foot long bladed whips, that she can imbue her ether controlled electricity into, manipulating them like snakes or as traditional weapons. She’s been trained by many of the officers of the force such as Jane Doe, Qingyi, and commissioner Lowell. She combines her unique nature as a snake Thiren into a rambunctious, fluid figuring style. She slides by or through targets, stabbing and slashing or slithering back to make distance to engage her lengthy whip style.

Cissia’s Interests/hobbies/habits: Cissia is an absolute fiend when it comes to food, being lazy, and dodging work. A lot of her current habits are a reflection of her past and how far she’s come. Due to mismanaging her paychecks (she spends it all on food after acquiring it) she often hunts for free food and snacks, bumming them from the police station break rooms, friends, generous coworkers, anywhere she can get a meal. She loves sweets and chips, but isn’t too picky about raw food either. Her nature as a snake Thiren blesses her with an iron gut. Her absolute favorite food choice is eggs. Any form of egg, any shape, egg themed items, she can even swallow an egg whole with ease. Besides food, she loves simple comforts; couches, a real bed, air conditioning, showers, all types of activities she never had the opportunity to enjoy being a street orphan. Now she sees these as amazing chances to indulge in luxury, even if it seems normal to societal standards. She also pretty good at lock picking, sneaking, breaking and entering. She uses her insane flexibility to get into places not usually considered. She doesn’t steal valuables, seeing food as the most valuable thing to be stolen. She likes to play video games and such, watch movies and tv shows, more things she could never indulge in as a child or teenager. She didn’t care for reading books, or boring things. She has a bad habit of acting like she knows what she’s doing, then feigning she ever did so when called out on it, same for claiming the credit for things she didn’t do, whatever makes her look good.

Cissia’s personality: Cissia is complex and simple at the same time. She’s very energetic when she’s happy, looking forward to something, or getting away with something she shouldn’t, or eating. Shes also very reliable when it comes to helping the few folks that are close to her. She’s got a bad habit of feigning sadness or playing the victim to get what she wants, and flips back to her cheerful self the moment she gets her way. She’s not great at manipulation, more so guilt tripping using her past as a weapon to great effect. When she’s scared, or senses danger, she instinct is to flee from it at any cost, although she can override this to save someone thanks to her job as a public security officer. She takes her job kind of seriously, enjoying the respect she gets and liking to help people, but she really hates actually having to do any work, and she’s terribly afraid of her boss, commissioner Lowell. She loves to be praised, spoiled, pampered, loved, unashamed to ask for more, due once again to her past as a street orphan. She acts haughty to those she feels are weaker than herself, but cowers from those she considers stronger. Shes an excellent bluffer, and adapts well to going with the flow in situations where things get tense, acting as if she could care less before striking. Shes fun, funny, easy to please and tease, while also being also hard to predict in situations that are complex.

Cissia’s history & Extra details: cissia lost her parents to the Hollow Zero event. Cissia became a street orphan in the Outer Rings as a child, struggling to survive as many others did at that time. She befriended a small white snake, she named Chalky, who stuck with her ever since. Shes always struggled with hunger, trying to find food was the priority after all for survival. As she grew up, she worked odd jobs for various gangs but she was never a part of any gang, always being mistreated by them due to her homelessness. She knew that of course, and never let it drag her down. She had an encounter with a group of murderers named the Sweepers once, when she was scavenging the leftovers of one of their jobs. She was beaten by some older scavengers, and when one female sweeper named Promeia came back, Promeia butchered the two scavengers which traumatized Cissia, who fled immediately. Ever since, she gets anxiety at the smell of blood, and a paralyzing fear if she ever encounters Promeia. Cissia managed to survive into early adulthood, where she was tricked into joining the Public Security Police force by Jane Doe. Jane had offered Cissia a choice; work for PubSec as a special investigator, or get sent to jail for her various small time crimes, so Cissia joined. Cissia is still homeless, having no financial management skills taught to her, but she lives out of the Police department most of the time, or the streets if she has to. She feels no shame for how she lives, since this is all she knows. She sees other people as living in luxury but she doesn’t envy them, just wants to join them. Cissia values her life above all, survival being the main element to her life for most of it, and it’s a hard habit to break. She also fights to protect the lives of the people she cherishes.
