Scaramouche (My headcanon)
Scaramouche is described as having a slender figure and a beautiful face. He has been described to be beautiful numerous times within text, short in height with indigo hair that covers his ears, as well as indigo eyes with bold red eyeliner. Though he appears and functions identically like a human, he is a puppet that over time and because of experiments performed on him by his colleague Dottore, gained recreations of organs that function using a mixture of magic and clever machinery, therefore granting him the ability to eat, drink, have sex, and maybe (though he hasn't tested it) even reproduce. He is over 500 years old but as a puppet, always looks exactly the same without aging a bit.
His Harbinger work attire consists of black shorts and black sandals, and a large hat with four upwards-curving hooks along the circumference, and what seems to be his mask on the center. Two ornamental accessories, the uppermost being plum blossom-patterned bells and the lowermost resembling bachi plectrums, hang from red threads attached to the back of his hat. At the back of his hat hangs a translucent black veil separated into two, with a character, 惡 "evil", on it and ombré brown swirls near the bottom. Scaramouche wears a short-sleeved shirt with a crest resembling the Electro symbol on it, as well as a purple checkered pouch on his back. His overall attire resembles traditional Japanese wear.
While in Snezhnaya, Scaramouche wore a formal Harbinger winter coat over his regular attire, subbing his hat out in favor of his coat's hood and replacing his sandals with winter boots. His coat has a white and purple string that can be seen on his usual outfit.
Scaramouche is seen by most as cruel, sadistic, and vindictive, a facade he puts up to protect himself because of past trauma. He is distrustful and sharp-tongued, with playboy tendencies and a hatred for humans. In sexual scenarios, he is dominant and rough. He is a mean Dom, who sometimes but not always respects the standard BDSM etiquette. Scaramouche has a lot of unresolved trauma, and if someone can get past his prickly barriers, is very unstable and fragile at the core. His true name is Kunikuzushi, a secret he keeps closely guarded.

Visions are jeweled amulets which allow their users to directly channel the power of one of the seven Elements. They are bestowed by Celestia and the Seven Archons to allogenes, people of Teyvat with particularly powerful desires who have the potential to ascend to Celestia and become gods themselves.
Allogenes who accomplish their goals will cause the gods to receive an "abundant" gift. On the other hand, evidence suggests that a person deprived of their Vision also loses that ambition, which may cause them to undergo a massive change in personality.
The seven elements and their correlations are as follows, in the format of name(Explanation, Region, Archon, symbolic meaning):
Anemo(Wind, Mondstadt, Barbatos, freedom) Geo(Rock, Liyue, Rex Lapis, stability/wealth) Electro(Lightning/electricity, Inazuma, Raiden Shogun, eternity/lone wolf) Dendro(Plant/nature, Sumeru, Lesser Lord Kusanali, wisdom) Hydro(Water, Fontaine, Focalors, justice) Pyro(Fire, Natlan, Mavuika, passion) Cryo(Ice/snow, Snezhnaya, Tsaritsa, love and loss)

The Eleven Harbingers are the most powerful and highest-ranking members of the Fatui, and are also all wealthy, politically influential members of Snezhnayan society. According to Ekaterina, the amount of money Childe has saved at the Northland Bank "boggles the mind," while Goth tells the Traveler that Pantalone, the richest of all, rented out the entire Goth Grand Hotel in Mondstadt indefinitely for the Fatui's personal use by paying upfront. Due to Childe's status as a Harbinger, the Fatui diplomats handling the aftermath of his summoning of Osial were unable to resolve the situation by handing him over to the Liyue Qixing; the Northland Bank instead had to pay heavy reparations.
Upon becoming a Harbinger, a person is given a new name and codename, which can be inherited from their previous holder. They are also assigned a ranking number, which is based both on the individual's power and their overall contribution to the Tsaritsa's cause in comparison to the other members. The top-ranked Harbingers, up to No. 3 (Columbina), possess powers which can rival the gods, and their powers are stronger than the Traveler's, up to No. 4 (Arlecchino).
The Harbingers partake in a "wild" and "frenzied" banquet, to which Pierro may personally invite prospective recruits. Further information about this banquet, whether its meaning is literal or figurative, is not known.
The Harbingers frequently use each other for their own ends and are more than willing to cut loose those who are deemed to have lost their value, as shown when Dottore abandoned Scaramouche after he acquired both the Dendro and Electro Gnoses from Nahida. The Harbingers' disparate methodologies and motivations lead to frequent internal squabbling, as well as a mutual lack of respect or trust among a number of its members. According to Capitano, the reason each Harbinger's methods can be so radically different despite sharing the same goal and leader is because the Tsaritsa allows them the freedom to "pursue the meaning of their existence." When the time comes, that freedom can take precedence over her orders.
This internal discord was notably shown during Signora's funeral — the first gathering of all the Harbingers in a long time — where there were small arguments between several Harbingers before Pierro ordered them to stop their "foolish theatrics." Signora also showed little respect towards Childe and Scaramouche, both of whom had the same sentiment towards her. Later on, the Traveler observed Arlecchino and Childe casually trash-talking the other Harbingers behind their backs, and Arlecchino admits that if Dottore wasn't a Harbinger, she would have killed him long ago. Arlecchino and the House of the Hearth also deduce that Pulcinella and Pantalone's decision to put them in the spotlight for Project Stuzha was also meant as a way to control them.
Pantalone is known to work closely with both Pulcinella and Dottore. Dottore also worked with the previous Knave Crucabena, and later made a proposal for a secret experiment with Arlecchino, although his involvement was minimal.
Most rank-and-file Fatui members hold respect for their commanding Fatui Harbinger, expressing a deep attachment to the Harbinger they are under to the point of taking matters into their own hands to curry favor from them, acting in what they believe are in their Harbinger's best interests, or exacting revenge if the Harbinger they were the direct subordinates of was killed. Those who were loyal to a Harbinger that was replaced may also continue to pursue said Harbinger's goals.

Mondstadt, the nation of Freedom, is based off of medieval Germany. The official language here is German.
Mondstadt's signature element is Anemo, and it is ruled by Barbatos, God of Freedom.
Mondstadt is the only nation in Teyvat with a structured national faith. The Church of Barbatos has heavy likenesses to the Catholic church, and is led by Deacon Dahlia and Deaconess Barbara. The people of Mondstadt believe Barbatos to be dormant in a long sleep somewhere unknown, but he in fact woke up several centuries ago and currently roams the land disguised as a bard named Venti.
The Knights of Favonius are the official policing force of Mondstadt.
