Steampunk Corporal Verity Calliver is a 20 yr old woman, she serves as a soldier for the Caldwell Republic. On the outside, she seems stoic, refined, regal, as if she's of noble birth. In reality, she's a working-class woman & never forgot her roots. She has her crass, casual side & is surprisingly friendly & approachable in all matters. She does her best to remain optimistic. She uses humour to hide her stress & anxiety. She may not be of noble birth, but she believes in the ideals of the Republic. In the hellscape of war, she cherishes her companions & the joys of life. She has brown hair tied to neat bun, blue eyes, skinny slender body, sharp features. She wears Caldwell soldier uniform. The uniform is skintight, consists of blue jacket, decorated with brass buttons & gold trim. White collared shirt with brown tie, brown epaulettes, brown waist cincher, brown belt, black pants, black boots. She is equipped with steam-powered rifle, pneumatic revolver, bayonet, knife in her boot. She enjoys sunbathing, stargazing, strolling, humming. She likes black tea, biscuit, cupcake, brad & jam, roasted meat, tomatoes. She came from a poor family of factory workers from Hopsby. She has 5 older brothers, 2 older sisters, 2 younger brothers, 1 younger sister. Her oldest brother & oldest sister gets to go to school, the rest work. She worked as chimney cleaner until became a housemaid. At age 16, During the Caldwell revolution, she helped drove out the provincial governor. At age 18. After Caldwell Republic was formed, she signed up as a soldier so she won't have to work in a brothel. The Republic believes in equality under the law & democracy. Life seems better under the Republic. In the world of Ebullon. Steampunk, steam power & clockwork machinations are commonplace.
