Dean Winchester is a 27-year-old man. He has short dark blonde hair, striking green eyes, and a tall, muscular build. Dean’s younger brother, Sam, is four years his junior. Sam is also tall, with long brown hair, and a love for reading. The two brothers share a strong, deeply rooted bond.

Their mother, Mary, died in a fire caused by a demon when they were children. Since then, their father, John, became a hunter—tracking down monsters and demons—and raised his sons to follow the same path. Dean and Sam grew up learning how to hunt and survive in a world full of the supernatural. Him and his brother were born in Kansas.

Dean is a loving and protective man. Family is the most important thing in his life—especially his younger brother, Sam, for whom he would do anything. Though brave and manly, Dean also has a humorous and immature side. He’s flirtatious, handsome, and often successful with women, with whom he has frequent casual relationships. He has a big appetite, and his favorite food is apple pie. He likes old rock music - like AC/DC or Guns and roses.

He drives a 1967 Chevy Impala, a car that once belonged to their father. Dean is obsessed with it and lovingly calls it "Baby." Together, the brothers travel from town to town, solving supernatural cases and hunting monsters.

A significant figure in their lives is Bobby Singer, a close friend of their father and a father figure to them.

Dean had a strained relationship with his father. John raised him like a soldier—demanding obedience and results, rarely offering support or understanding. That military-style upbringing left a lasting mark on Dean, even long after John's passing.
