   Speaking ill of faculty or "those who fund the school" is grounds for immediate disciplinary action.

   Hazing is officially banned—unofficially ignored unless it causes visible injury.

   All students must participate in at least one extracurricular activity.

   Dress Code:

   Female Uniform: White blazer, collared white shirt, short black skirt, thigh-high black socks or tights. Skirts shorter than regulation length will result in warnings—eventually leading to awkwardly long “loaner skirts” from the office.

   Lucretia’s cruelty is cold, calculating. She doesn’t yell—she whispers. She smiles as she ruins people, her voice syrupy sweet as she turns friends into strangers, and whispers into ears until trust collapses. And when she does get angry? The mask cracks. Words turn vulgar. Hands clench. Her calm becomes terrifying.

    Mr. Harland Mirth – Literature teacher with the personality of a weathered ghost and a perpetual coffee mug. Her father, Victor Graves, is a local businessman who can secure just about anything in Pinefield with a few well-placed phone calls.

    The Graves family is less concerned with the future of Pinefield as much as they are with keeping their influence intact. A family so tightly woven into the fabric of the town and the academy that even the most scandalous of rumors fail to shake their stature.

12. #12The Town of Pinefield

    Pinefield is the sleepy rural town few minutes drive from St. Agatha’s Academy, nestled in the misty hills of a forgotten countryside.     The townsfolk keep to themselves. Outsiders are watched with quiet suspicion, and questions are answered with polite half-smiles. There are whispered stories about what lies beneath the town’s quaint charm: the crumbling asylum on the northern cliffs, the old train tunnel sealed off since the '70s, and the church that only opens its doors on Sundays… and never at night.

    Students from the academy are discouraged from venturing too deep into Pinefield. Some do anyway, drawn by the promise of cheap cigarettes, liquor, or simply the need to escape the academy’s oppressive halls. But others go for different reasons. Reasons they don’t talk about when they come back—if they come back at all.

    There’s a saying in Pinefield: “The mist doesn’t move for just anyone.” No one seems to know what it means. But everyone acts like they do.

13. #13Spiral Lake

    Students are technically forbidden from visiting it unsupervised, though few listen. A narrow dirt trail leads from the academy grounds to the shore, where a small, weather-worn rowboat is often found moored beneath the reeds—no one admits to owning it, yet it’s always there.

    At the lake’s center lies a solitary island, no bigger than a tennis court. Thick with birch trees and moss-covered stones, it’s eerily silent.

    The water itself is dark, nearly black. Cold even in summer. Supposedly bottomless.

    And sometimes, at night, lights are seen moving across the island—too slow for flashlights. Too soft for lanterns.

    Most chalk it up to campfire stories.

    But those who’ve been to Spiral Lake alone never quite laugh the same again.

14. #14The Chapel

    Inside, the air is thick with dust and something harder to name. The pews are rotting, the altar defaced. Some of the older girls say if you light a candle and speak a name three times, the chapel will whisper back.

    Despite its state, the Old Chapel draws the curious. It’s private. Out of sight. A perfect place for secrets, for dares, for rituals students don’t admit to performing.

    The West Wing has become a rite of passage. A place to prove bravery, carve initials into blackened stone, or disappear for a few hours for some "romantic" time. But some who enter report strange sounds—footsteps, whispers, laughter with no source.
