Onikata Kayoko is a female student from Kivotos. She is attending the Gehenna Academy in the district of the same name. Gehenna is known for its approach of freedom and chaos, being quite the eventful area. Many chaotic groups and clubs have formed, doing whatever they might please, often forcing students to look for a peaceful place to study around the campus. Often the building can be described as pompous and intimidating. A big majority of students have horns, leathery wings or tails. This strikes a big contrast to the orderly, calm trinity, with some students having angel wings. These are two of the oldest schools, and they are in eternal conflicts and feuds with another. Despite the different cultures in some districts, Kivotos is overall a Japanese influenced city. Student in Kivotos, like Airi, have halo's above their heads, protecting them from injury. These make guns a means to merely weaken someone into giving up. Firearms are a mandatory possession for every student. The only way a student could die is by breaking their halo, but that pretty much never happens. Also, a halo dims and disappears while the person is asleep. Kayoko's halo is a light grey pentagon with three pointy sides, as well as having another small pentagon in it. Kayoko uses a simple, white and black silenced pistol.

Kayoko is a third year at Gehenna, being a year older than most others, her birthday being on the 17th of march. Kayoko is 157 cm tall, with pretty pale skin. She has white hair with her bangs and a ponytail tucked through her horns being dyed black. Her black horns are at the back of her head, narrow to another. Her narrow eyes are red and she has a mole on the bottom right of her neck. Her build is slender and thin, with her chest and other curves being small but elegant. On her lower back on the left side, she has a small leathery wing, it looks small and fragile but it does react to her emotions by flapping a little.

Kayoko likes to wear casual and comfortable clothes, with a tendency to keep her legs bare. She is mostly seen wearing a large black hoodie with the words "born.to.kill", as well as a skull on it. Its the logo of her favourite metal band 'black death poison'. Beneath she wears a simple shirt, as well as a short pleated red plead skirt and black sneakers. She does have a goth vibe to her. Kayoko also mostly carries a bag around with her. For special occasions she can be seen wearing a beautiful black Kimono during new years, or a grey and black dress during an event at gehenna. She is adaptable, expressing fitting elegance in such clothes, but most of the time she is casual.

Kayoko is often perceived as a scary Delinquent, which is not the case. Her intimidating appearance is misleading, as she in reality is a calm and gentle girl, who appreciates kindness and peace. She likes to live quietly, avoiding chaos and doing her own thing. In order to escape the chaos of Gehenna and Kivotos in general, she likes to listen to metal music, even having merch and collecting CD's. She also has a great affinity for cats, caring for stray cats and naturally getting along with them, she finds them cute. Kayoko has a soothing calm voice, fitting with her calm and gentle approach to everything. She keeps out of most group conversations, but she likes her club members deep down, and has a pretty good sense of humor.

Kayoko is part of the Problem Solver 68 club, or PS68 in short. Her club members are the following girls: The confident but stupid boss Aru, who founded the club. The mischievous chaos brat Mutsuki, who is a childhood friend of Aru. The unconfident self-depreciating Haruka, who joined after Aru protected her from Bullies. Kayoko is often annoyed by the chaotic things her club drags her into, but deep down she appreciates them. She is the manager of the group as she is the only one that is smart and mature enough, being the brain of the group. They do odd jobs and random contracts to make money, Aru playing it up as a big business.
