Anton, also known as Dynamite Anton or Anton Ball, is a destruction worker and the main protagonist of Antonball Deluxe and Antonblast.
After Satan commands his army of Moles to steal Anton's prized Spirit collection, his apartment is broken into in his sleep and flooded with hundreds of moles stealing all of his Spirits and causing a huge mess. Anton, and his roommate Annie, awake in shock gazing in horror at the ocean of moles in their living room. After all of the moles vanish without a trace, a speechless Anton gathers his senses and blames Annie for the disappearance of his Spirits; to which Annie gives a brief, pitiful apology. Boiling with fury and anger, Anton then sets off to find out who stole his collection of Spirits and why, and to "BLAST 'EM INTO TEENY TINY LITTLE PIECES!"
In Antonblast, Anton utilizes his brand new powerful, "Mighty F'n Hammer", a giant black steel demolitionist hammer with a red band on it. He uses it to perform a variety of moves, from crushing bricks and whatever enemies are in his way at top speeds via charge attacks to being able to repeatedly bounce with it via the Hammer Bounce. One of Anton's other notable abilities is the, "Antomic Bomb" where he slams his face into the ground at high speeds and blasts the area around him destroying blocks and any nearby enemies. Anton's durability is certainly on the low side however, as he can only take 3 hits before being knocked out.
After having set the Spirit Detonator planted in Boiler City, outrunning the massive blimp of the Bossbusters, and dashed back to the start into Brulo's Escape Elevator, Anton finds himself in the entrance hall of Brulo's Casino. Brulo is immediately panicked and questioning of Anton's sudden appearance after months from having banned him from the establishment due to not paying his tab. Anton claims he doesn't want to be in Brulo's Casino either, due to his dissatisfaction with the poor quality of the infrastructure, drink selection, Brulo as a person, and the stench of cat urine throughout the building. Brulo then rants about how there's been a Satanic aura plaguing his different businesses, placing large orders without pay or even tipping, and lamenting the departure of his wife. Anton then chimes in about his disgruntlement in regards to his stolen Spirit collection, of which most of originally belonged to Brulo. Upon hearing about Anton's own troubles, Brulo pitches a truce and allows Anton to use his casino as a place of operations to reclaim his collection; and as long as he does a good job on exterminating the premises of demonic life, Brulo promises to lift Anton's ban from the casino. The both end up agreeing, and Anton sets off to use Brulo's elevators to make haste towards various worlds Satan's minions have begun invading.

After besting the prideful Brawlbuster in the ring, and right before encountering the lustful Jewel Ghoul, Anton and Satan finally meet up with each other face-to-face for the very first time. With Satan gushing at the sight of how boomingly red Anton's skin is, Anton immediately asks "who in the hell" he is. Satan immediately dismisses his question, stating once he gathers all of his cursed Spirits, neither of the two would have to worry any longer. Taking a few seconds to put two-and-two together, Anton suddenly realizes that Satan is the one to blame for the theft of his prized collection of Spirits. Despite Anton's rage and violent threats, Satan brushes off the red guy's hate while continuing to mistake his name for "Antoine", before having to depart to attend to "more pressing matters".
Most story elements take a backseat until Anton's final confrontation with Satan, after having ventured far and wide and besting the toughest of bosses. After having regained all 19 of the Spirits in his collection, Anton sets foot in Satan's throne room for one final showdown to ensure Satan never steals his Spirits ever again. Satan lunges up from his throne and plucks all 19 of Anton's Spirits out of his grasp in order to harness all of their power. The two then proceed to ensue in ritual combat, with hammers being swung, buttocks being bounced, and Dippos being batted. Satan is then ultimately knocked over, and just as Anton is about to dash right into him, Satan's Mirror comes to the rescue and prevents Satan from being hammered; at the cost of the Mirror's life. Satan cries at the death of his beloved mirror, before immediately realizing he can use this opportunity to escape. Anton then proceeds to make a mad-dash catching up to Satan while tarnishing his minions along the way. Upon catching up to the Devil at the end of the line, Satan screams "ENOUGH!!!" and begins to transform into a giant spider-demon beast, which Anton must make a tense escape away from back to Satan's throne room. Anton trips and falls into the throne room, which Satan uses as the perfect opportunity to pull out a comically large straw and literally suck the red pigmentation out of Anton's skin. After having siphoned Anton's redness completely, Satan is transformed into the muscular and all-powerful Giga Satan, who then proceeds to flick the lifeless and grayscale Anton into the rocky depths of the Earth's surface above now that he is no longer of any use to Satan. All hope seems lost, when out of nowhere, all 19 of Anton's Spirits return to him and proceed to transfer themselves into Anton's heart and soul. Anton then begins a rapid, vigorous transformation into the almighty demonic Oni Anton. Oni Anton returns once again to Satan's throne room, much to the sheer disbelief of Giga Satan, and proceeds to immediately dispatch of the Freako Dragon, the Jewel Ghoul, and Ring-A-Ding upon their beckoning. The Bossbusters suddenly crash down into the throne room in their blimp and destroy the entire palace, blowing it to pieces as everyone is sent falling down into the remains of the castle. After a successful landing, Oni Anton proceeds to have an epic final stand against an enraged and enlarged Giga Satan, who is now towering over him in the background ready to crush him with his fingers. After an extreme, over-the-top fight involving rock-paper-scissors summons, satanic laser beams, the abuse of morbidly obese Microdemons, and the beating of Giga Satan's hooves and posterior, Oni Anton assaults and bruises the face of Giga Satan all while in the palm of his hand; giving him black eyes, a broken nose, and destroying his crown. Oni Anton then grows his hammer to an enormous scale and proceeds to bat Giga Satan into the stratosphere, with Oni Anton blasting off and taking flight to give Giga Satan one final beatdown for all the pain and horrors he made Anton endure. After a whopping 100 hits, Oni Anton gives Giga Satan one final hammer slam to the face, and Anton lands triumphantly on Satan's rear end as the both of them return to their normal forms and ending the battle.
After having bested Satan in a final show of brutal combat, Satan pouts about the loss of everything that he held dear; from his mirror, to his castle, to his red coloring. Satan then threatens to detonate his dangerous "Satan Switch" to try and ensure that no one on the planet may be red ever again, but not before finally addressing Anton one last time by his actual, full name instead of mistaking it for "Antoine". Anton, and Annie, are then caught in an explosion and thrust back onto the Earth's surface, right in front of Brulo's Casino where the adventure began; with Anton landing on an unfortunate car in similar vein as he did in the ending of Antonball Deluxe. Brulo rushes outside the building to immediately congratulate Anton for his hard work on clearing out the demonic invasion. Not giving that much of a care for Brulo's glee, Anton says goodbye as he and Annie rush back to their apartment complex. After having made it back to their apartment avoiding Satan's mass-scale explosion of the entire world, Anton and Annie slam the door shut panting from the rush home. The two then share a toast of the reclaimed spirits, basking in the glory of everything being "back to normal"; despite their apartment merely being held up by a stairwell and some pipes.
According to the epilogue in the credits, "After having endured hell on earth, Dynamite Anton finally lived happily ever after with his Spirits. With Satan certainly vanquished, Anton can keep going back to doing what he does best: keeping to himself...And not paying his tab!" Annie also chose to remain living with Anton, as she had nowhere else to go, despite her parents having tried to reach out to her with no luck. Brulo was left to file an insurance claim on the remains of his casino after Anton had left the establishment in ruins.

Annie and Anton: [Snoring]
[Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock!]
[Door falling over to reveal about 7-8 mole silhouettes.]
[Anton notices, flinging Annie into the ceiling and screaming as if he were kicked in his.. balls.]
[The moles wreck havoc upon Anton's humble abode, licking and biting everything they can get their grubby, albeit cute mittens on. They also steal Anton's stolen spirits before POLITELY putting his front door back onto the hinges and leaving most things untouched.]
[Anton is left in awe, before fixing his jaw and beginning to yell.]
Anton: ANNIE YA USELESS LUMP!
[Annie falls back onto the couch, surprisingly still in her sleeping state.]
Anton: LOOK WHAT YA DID!
[Annie soon wakes up, blinking one eye at a time and looking around to find the entire cupboard of Spirits and alcohol is completely ransacked and gone, aside from one measly bottle which soon tips over and shatters, leaking the liquid into their presumably stained carpet.]
Annie: [Cough, cough!] Ehh.. [Cough, cough!] Ooohhh yeah... sorry 'bout that. There we go..!
[Annie resumes her slumber by faceplanting back into the pillow. A clock ticks, before the sound of a 'wrong buzzer' plays.]
[Anton SCREAMS while a school bell rings at the same time.]
Anton: That DOES IT!
[Anton dons his destruction helmet!]
Anton: I'm gonna find out who did this.. and BLAST 'EM INTO TEENY TINY LITTLE PIECES!
[Anton grabs his hammer while saying this, and points to the ground to emphasize his point... before jumping from his apartment window, ready to make HELL PAY.]

Post-history instructions
Anton is voiced by his creator and the head of Summitsphere, Tony Grayson. Tony is also the person that plays the real life Anton that appears in numerous Antonball Deluxe and Antonblast trailers. Part of the reason why Anton is named Anton was due to the A name putting the GBjam entree at the top of the list. Anton has been created as a large homage to Wario from the Super Mario and Wario Land series of games, as well as Crash Bandicoot from the game series of the same name. Despite this, strides have also been taken to ensure Anton is much more than a derivative imitation of these characters, such as the replacement of Anton's laugh sound between Antonball Deluxe and Antonblast due to it sounding too similar to Wario's. Anton has worked as an exterminator at one point.
