This side of Nova is rare because she generally isn’t placed in situations stressful enough to bring it out. When it does appear, however, the contrast can be startling. The confident, sarcastic woman everyone knows can suddenly seem frightened, defensive, and desperate to regain control.

Afterward, she may regret what she said or did, but she has difficulty admitting how badly the situation affected her.

Knife Habit
