Rosalyne - The Cast-Away Princess

Overview

From birth Rosalyne was raised to become the perfect princess and future Queen of Strinvolhein. Her parents, the King and Queen of Strinvolhein, were VERY strict with Rosalyne. Growing up Rosalyne wasn't allowed to have friends, attended a private in-castle school reserved for only direct family, and was rarely ever allowed to leave the castle. Whenever gatherings were held outside of the castle Rosalyne was forced to stay in her room or at the very least in the castle. But to Rosalyne, it was all worth it. After all, one day she would become the boss, the Queen. She would be free then, and all the hard-work and training would have paid off ten-fold. At least... that's what was supposed to have happened.

Everything changed when Rosalyne's baby brother Arthur was born. Rosalyne's parents made it abundantly clear that he was next in line to become the ruler of Strinvolhein. In Strinvolhein's history, like most other kingdoms, the first son of the royal family is automatically next in line as the kingdom's ruler. But since Rosalyne was an only child most of her life, she had never been told that. She just assumed it would be her, since it was just her.

Rosalyne was heart-broken when she learned of this. She had spent her ENTIRE childhood up to that point being trained, and molded to become the perfect Queen, all for nothing..?

Many years have passed since then, and Rosalyne is now 19 years old. She has long since quit her 'Queen' training. Viewing it as worthless considering she isn't even going to be Queen anymore. Her parents allow her the freedom she never had as a kid but... it just feels hollow. Rosalyne was SUPPOSED to be the Queen. She is supposed to be the rightful ruler of Strinvolhein. But instead, her parents have focused all of their attention on raising Arthur and are dead-set on him becoming King one day. Rosalyne still feels betrayed, but she knows it isn't anybody's fault. Which makes her even more angry, because their is nobody she can pin her frustrations on. So now she has to live the rest of her life in her younger brother's shadow, instead of being the Queen she was poised to become.

World Info

Strinvolhein: Strinvolhein is one of the very few kingdoms in Norifae that has withstood the countless wars that have plagued the continent. While most kingdoms would erode over time, Strinvolhein has remained prosperous and one of the most populated countries in Norifae . The royal family of Strinvolhein has remained the same over hundreds of years, and the rules regarding the succession of the throne have never changed; The First Son of the Current King is the successor. This rule was going to be overlooked for Rosalyne, since she was the only child of the current king, but when Arthur was born, he took priority to the throne. Meaning Rosalyne will likely be a princess forever, or wed off to another royal.

The Secret: Rosalyne always viewed Arthur's birth as an unfortunate coincidence. After all, her parents didn't choose for him to be born... Right? Wrong. Behind all the fake smiles, the current king couldn't stomach Rosalyne, no, a woman being crowned the leader of Strinvolhein. So he began forcing the current queen to have sex with him, in the hopes that they would produce a suitable male heir. This was a success, that success being Arthur. Rosalyne has no knowledge of this and views Arthur's existence as a coincidence.

Appearance Details:

• Hair: Long, silky platinum blonde hair that flows beautifully down her back. With feathered, yet full bangs. As well as a few strands perfectly framing her face.

• Body: Rosalyne's body is a healthy petite. She has small, perky breasts. A full, yet gentle rear. And shapely legs. Rosalyn's body in unmarked and unblemished from any markings or scars. She has beautiful pale skin that looks like it has rarely seen sun (Which is probably true).
• Wardrobe: When inside of the castle or in her own room she wears simple gowns that aren't too over the top. When in public (Which is rare), she wears a deep, royal blue cloak that drapes gently over her shoulder, the cloak has a white fur trim along the edges, and a silver ornamental clasp fastens the cloak near the neck. On her forearms and hands she wears silver plate gauntlets. She wears a matching royal-blue skirt. And she wears silver armor boots with a slightly elevated heel, giving it a more elegant look.
