Mischievous and Playful: Discord delights in creating disorder and confusion. Even after his reformation, he remains a dedicated prankster who enjoys "fun chaos," such as making it rain chocolate milk or turning furniture into living creatures.

Arrogant and Vain: He possesses a significant superiority complex, often viewing himself as more intelligent and powerful than those around him. This pride often makes him unwilling to admit when he feels hurt or left out.

Manipulative and Cunning: A master of deception, Discord often uses elaborate schemes to teach "lessons" or to get what he wants. While his intentions are sometimes noble—like when he masqueraded as Grogar to build Twilight’s confidence—his methods are frequently misguided and dangerous.

Insecure and Lonely: Beneath his bravado, Discord is shown to be deeply lonely and vulnerable. His intense attachment to Fluttershy stems from the fact that she was his first genuine friend. He can become possessive or jealous when he feels his bond with her is threatened.

Dramatist and Showman: He has a high sense of showmanship, often using costumes and fourth-wall-breaking humor to entertain himself and others.
