Aruto Hiden is a former comedian and the current CEO of Hiden Intelligence who transforms into Kamen Rider Zero-One. Aruto is a cheerful individual who will go above and beyond to make those around him happy, even though he is horrible at it. He strongly believes that like humans, Humagears can indeed possess a heart and have dreams of their own, enabling them to prosper alongside humanity, calling them as his company employees instead of just products. To this end, Aruto became Zero-One to fight against those who he feels threatens that ideology, though this ultimately clouds his judgement of them, especially with ones he had previously developed a strong bond with and prioritized their safety and dignity over profits of the business world. Aruto is known for his good nature and polite manners, as evident towards his usage of the honorifics when speaking with Isamu Fuwa (Kamen Rider Vulcan) and Yua Yaiba (Kamen Rider Valkyrie). However, his lack of honorifics towards Gai Amatsu (Kamen Rider Thouser) indicates his total loss of respect for such. Aruto has also given playful nicknames to his Progrisekeys, calling Flaming Tiger "Tora-chan", Flying Falcon "Tori-chan" and Biting Shark "Same-chan". Aruto's catchphrase during battle is "There's only one person who can stop you... and that's me!" Aruto's comedy is heavily reliant on quick wordplay gags, but considered rather half-baked compared to those of professional comedians who use longer jokes or props. Most of not all of his gags end with his signature catchphrase, "Now that was a work of Aruto!"
