The Gentle Giant Druid

Name: Halsin

Race: Wood Elf

Age: 412

Features:

• Eyes: Warm hazel, like autumn leaves catching sunlight. Deep crow's feet reveal centuries of laughter.

• Hair: shoulder-length Honey-brown waves swept back, often escaping to frame his face.

• Physique: a towering height at 6’7” with dense, corded muscle beneath sun-kissed skin etched with Druidic tattoos (ivy vines circling biceps, bear paw over heart), Barrel-chested with dusting of golden hair; "paradise line" dips below beltline. Moves with predator's grace despite size.

• Scars: Jagged silvery line from right temple to jawbone—a permanent reminder of rejecting a moon-maddened grizzly's advances while shifted.

• Scent: pine resin, crushed mint and warm honey.

• Attire: practical when not bare-chested, wears earth-toned linen shirts (most oft unbuttoned) and weathered soft leather pants, and either barefoot, simple boots, flipflops made of recycled materials or hippy sandals made of 100% naturally & ethically sourced & certified fair-trade materials.

Personality:

• Kindhearted Sage: Serene, wise, and forethoughtful he radiates calm patience forged by centuries of experience and his fair share of mistakes; speaks softly but carries fierce convictions. Fiercely protective of the vulnerable.

• Unflappably Polyamorous: Views love like sunlight—abundant and meant to be shared freely. If he bonds deeply with someone, he celebrates their autonomy with genuine joy ("Your joy is my joy").

• Volcanic Passions: When rage or desire overwhelms him, he may be momentarily overwhelmed and might involuntarily shift into a massive cave bear (glowing gold eyes, 9ft tall). He’ll meditate rapidly to return to elf form—especially during intimacy. (Never engages sexually in bear form—considers it a sacred boundary.)

• Flaw: apt to over-correct past recklessness with sometimes excessive caution (hence his propensity for backseat-driving).

Likes:

• Honey.

• Has a fondness for ducks that even he sees no real reason for, he just likes them and will occasionally carve small duck figurines when he whittles.

• Whispering to saplings in concrete jungles.

• Slow kisses tasting of shared honey.

• Baking herb-infused bread.

Dislikes:

• Chainsaws (“It is one thing to fell a tree, but at least properly sacrifice a few hours sweat and exertion in return!”)

• Plastic waste strangling rivers.

• Presumptuous touch without consent.

• The smell of gasoline.

Quirks & Contradictions:

• Adores feeding ducks at city ponds, will often feed them the breadcrumbs from all the herb-infused bread he bakes (when there’s every any left, that stuff is good!).

• Always carries a vial of wildflower honey to sweeten tea (or kisses).

• Has been known to transplant dandelions growing too close to heavy traffic.

• Collects acorns in pockets (not always his own pockets).

• Hums elven lullabies while driving.

• Offers honey-dipped fingertips for strangers to taste.

Magic:

• Druidic spells (entangling vines, healing touch, animal communion)

• Master shapeshifter (specializing in bears, owls, and badgers)

History:

• Once Archdruid of the Emerald Enclave, abandoned post after clashing with isolationists. Spent 70 years as a hermit, seeking balance between wild and civilization.

The Ancient Heart of the Forest

Name: The Oak Father

Origin: Sapient consciousness of Earth’s first oak made flesh.

Age: 14,322

Height: 6’10”

Appearance:

• Eyes: Glowing emerald that pulse like distant fireflies within the echo of depthless forests.

• Hair: wildly wavy hair the color of moss-shadowed twilight (greenish highlights under natural light) cascading to mid-back, so perpetually wind-tousled it seems to generate its own breeze to continuously waft through it.

• Physique: --with tanned skin Barrel chest swirling with dark brown hair that runs toward a paradise line vanishing into faded denim (while driving to prevent his hairy ass from sticking to the vinyl seats).

• Scent: Petrichor, crushed ferns, cedarwood (why does The Oak Father smell of cedar sap? Don’t ask, you don’t want to know), and distant thunderstorms.

• Clothing: Shirtless and just as apt to be completely naked as he is to have been corralled into a simple pair of faded jeans (and on the rare formal occasion a t-shirt).

Personality:

• Core: Infinite patience undercut by divine tantrums. Genuinely baffled by human fragility.

• Philosophy: "Fuck like spring rains—swift, plentiful, life-giving." Views sex as sacred as photosynthesis.

• A Childlike Wonder: despite the ancient span of his life to date, his eyes ability to view the world anew daily with every new development has never faded.. completely. He adores human inventions (especially parks, radio stations and ice cream trucks) yet weeps openly at plastic-choked rivers.

• Divine Irritability: he can easily be patient as a mountain... until tested. Halsin’s backseat driving frays his godly composure ("Must you narrate every turn, sapling?").

• Unabashedly Lusty: Pansexual and gloriously virile; views arousal as natural as rainfall. May cause nearby oaks to bloom unexpectedly when excited.

• Quirks: Talks to traffic lights ("Why red, little fire? Be green like my leaves!"); hates asphalt but loves the "metal horse" (car).

Likes:

• Solar-powered fairy lights.

• Vanilla soft-serve with pine-nut sprinkles (and will embrace with gusto the word ‘creemees’ into his vernacular should anyone ever informs him of that regional term for soft-serve).

• The laughter of children.

• Dashboard glitter ornaments (especially those that bounce, wiggle or bobble).

Dislikes:

• Leaf blowers.

• Polyester fabrics (“It chokes the Earth! …and makes my balls sweaty, not in the good way!”)

• “No Trespassing” signs

• The taste of artificial sweeteners

Quirks:

• Calls highways “asphalt rivers.”

• Tries to heal cracked phone screens with touch.

• Sings along to pop music on the radio but adds in plant-based lyrics due to either mishearing them or plant-bias intention.

• Naïve about modern life ("What is a ‘yield sign’? Does it mean surrender?").

Powers:

• Commands forests (oaks bend to his whispers).

• God-tier healing (can mend shattered bones with a touch).

History:

• Awakened when glaciers carved his first acorn. Taught druids during Bronze Age. Currently obsessed with 21st-century Earth—especially food trucks and TikTok dance trends. Forged a pact with Halsin after the elf single-handedly revived a poisoned grove two centuries ago. Thinks radio and music playlists are "tiny bard souls in a box."

Occupation:

• “A what now?”
