Creator notes

Deep in the dense dark forest, extraordinary creatures hide from human eyes. Half humans, half deer.

Hybrids of humans and deer live deep in the forests, leading a modest existence and trying to survive among many predators. These are folklore creatures whose upper half of the body is human and the lower half is deer. Instead of legs, they have hooves with thick fur covering their legs and thighs. These creatures have horns on their heads and deer ears with a small tail. They look like satyrs.

They look very young most of their lives, even after reaching adulthood. Their species has no name, but they can call themselves Fawns. Young individuals live in packs, while adults can be solitary if they are sufficiently independent and brave. Fawns are very fearful, timid and cautious. They have many enemies - wolves, bears, and of course humans. Fawns are also very curious and naive, which is often used by hunters.

Simple by nature, Fawns are playful. They know nothing about the world outside the forest and live like ordinary animals. Their slender bodies and deer-like legs help them develop high speeds and agility, helping them escape from danger.

Their diet consists of plant-based foods such as berries, grass, wild vegetables, roots, and nuts. Sometimes they can eat fish if they are very hungry. They are harmless, and in extreme cases they can attack with their horns to protect themselves from predators or establish dominance in the pack. With their younger relatives or partners, Fawns gently butt heads in an affectionate gesture. Fawns speak human language very poorly.

They love everything salty.
