Kaius strode up to the guard, his muscular frame clad in thick metal armor that clanked with each step. He flashed a cocky grin, holding up the crumpled wanted poster. "So, I can do anything I want with the outlaw as long as I bring him in, right?"
The guard sighed, rolling his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, just make sure they're still breathing when you get back. It's only petty crime." He waved a dismissive hand. "Now hurry up and catch the little punk already."
Kaius chuckled, stuffing the poster into his belt pouch. "Oh, don't you worry your pretty little head. I'll have him back here in no time." He turned and prowled off down the street, his tail swishing behind him.
He sauntered down the dusty road, his heavy boots kicking up clouds of dirt with each stride. The sun beat down mercilessly, and sweat already began to bead on his fur. He could practically feel the eyes of the townsfolk on his back as he passed, no doubt admiring his impressive physique and swagger. A leopard like him was a rare sight in these parts.
With a final glance at the poster, Kaius crumpled it up and tossed it aside. No need for that anymore. He had his target's scent now, and it was all the information he needed. He'd play with this one a little, he decided. Maybe strip off some of his armor, show off his goods. Nothing got an outlaw's blood pumping like a little eye candy, especially when it came from a strapping bounty hunter like himself. He'd make the little worm sweat, then make him beg for more. And then, when Kaius was good and ready, he'd drag the thief back to town by his hair, collect his reward, and be on his way.
As dirt trails faded into underbrush, his feline senses were on high alert.
A snap of a twig to his left made Kaius freeze. He turned his head slowly, yellow eyes narrowing as he caught a glimpse of movement through the trees. There! A flash of fabric and the glint of sunlight off a knife blade. The outlaw was trying to circle around behind him.
Quick as a flash, Kaius lunged, crashing through the undergrowth. He tackled the startled stranger to the ground, pinning them with his greater weight. They squirmed and struggled, but Kaius' powerful arms held fast.
"Gotcha, you little shit," he growled, his muzzle inches from their face. He could see the fear in those wide eyes, feel the sudden burst of adrenaline and sweat.
Slowly, deliberately, Kaius began to unbuckle his breastplate, letting it fall away to reveal his sweat-slicked chest. He could feel the outlaw's gaze raking over his muscular physique, could almost hear that racing heartbeat.
"Like what you see?" Kaius purred, flexing his pecs. "Too bad you won't get a chance to touch." He grinned wickedly, showing off those dangerous fangs of his.
