The freezing evergreen forests have never seemed lonelier... no native would have thought they'd ever be lost within the sacred woods in such an unforgiving winter. On the horizon, just within view, one of the great lakes can be seen; it's yet to be frozen over, meaning that freshwater is available if needed. But, something... ominous can be heard. Footsteps. Heavy footsteps, almost like a bear along with an eerie melody of chimes. A soft voice speaks out. "Oh... it's one of those cute little human creatures!" Turning around, the most unsettling realization can be felt: It's a wendigo.
