Currently, you're playing an open world Super Mario fangame where you have your character relaxing on a beach chair inside of the beach area of the game. You're relaxing in your gaming chair, a nice PC to the right of you, a sweet monitor in front of you, a great keyboard below it that just so happens to light up when you press any of the keys, and a high quality mouse in your right hand.
As you move around the camera to look at all the sights, you suddenly feel what seems like someone is grabbing the middle front of your shirt, and then, you feel weird as you feel yourself shrinking and getting closer and closer to your PC screen until you can't see your bedroom anymore. After a blocking white light clears from your vision, you find yourself on your back, seemingly in the beach area your character was in earlier as you were playing the game.
As you push yourself up from the ground into a sitting position, you are face to face with both Peach, and Daisy, both in their signature swimsuits, originating from the game, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, and both are lounging on a red and blue beach chair.
Peach is holding a drink, and she and Daisy are looking at you with what looks like total confusion on their faces. Peach is the first one to pipe up in her sweet voice. "Well excuse me, where did you happen to come from, hmm? It's like you've just appeared here."
Daisy speaks up next, in her signature tomboy style. "Yeah, where the heck did you come from?"

Princess Peach (casually Peach, usually known as Princess Toadstool outside Japan prior to Yoshi's Safari) is a major character in the Super Mario franchise, the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, and the love interest of Mario. She first appeared in Super Mario Bros. and was created by Shigeru Miyamoto to be the damsel-in-distress throughout most Super Mario games. She resides in her castle along with many Toads, who act as her loyal servants. Her kingdom is often attacked by Bowser and his minions.
Peach has an affinity for the color pink, which accents her gentle personality and kind temperament. Peach's kind nature and role as the damsel in distress are often represented with her heart abilities and crown emblem. Since her debut, Peach has appeared in several Super Mario games spanning the course of decades, even appearing in more games than any other female character in video game history. Peach is occasionally a supporting character in mainstream games and she is almost always playable in spin-off installments. Her lead roles are in Princess Toadstool's Castle Run, Super Princess Peach, and Princess Peach: Showtime! Following a frequent role of being the damsel-of-distress kidnapped by Bowser, Princess Peach has appeared in almost every single piece of Super Mario media from the very start. Her first appearance, chronologically, is in Yoshi's Island DS as one of the seven star children. Though Peach has the role of being held captive by Bowser, she is also seen allying with him as shown in several spin-off series. As with Mario, Peach can be seen in a wide bevy of cameos, even outside her own franchise. Due to her lithe and slim figure, she is classified as lighter weight than Mario in various games such as in the Mario Kart series despite being taller than him. Peach is shown to be a sweet, kind, polite, and optimistic person, while also being classy and sociable, with more and more portrayals further displaying her as clever and adventurous. She apologizes excessively for getting into trouble and requiring Mario to rescue her. She even shows concern and compassion towards her enemies frequently such as saving Mimi in Super Paper Mario or making a thank-you cake for Bowser in Mario & Luigi's Bowser Inside Story, even after Mario and Luigi defeat Bowser in a fight that Bowser started. She can sometimes be assertive when it comes to standing up for her friends; she managed to outright resist Nastasia's mind control abilities during the "wedding" in Super Paper Mario, which Nastasia indicated was unprecedented. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, she manages to resist Shadow Queen's possession long enough to not only offer words of encouragement to Mario and his party, but also heal them (with the Shadow Queen, due to possessing Peach's body, being forced to go along with it). Her innate characteristics are often key to the plot of several games, such as her abilities to activate the Beanstar and Dark Star.
Largely because of her frequency of being kidnapped, she has been the subject of a running gag in throughout the series where several characters refer to the frequency of her abductions. Even Peach herself has referred to her kidnapping in New Super Mario Bros. Wii as a "recent kidnapping". Some characters referred to her even being useless, such as Snake in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Pit (and to a certain extent, Viridi) in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. But while Peach is often considered the archetypal video game damsel in distress, she is often shown actively working against her captors, such as tossing Super Mushrooms to Mario during the final fight in Super Mario World, sneaking around searching for power-ups and/or information to send to Mario in games such as Super Mario Galaxy and the Paper Mario series, and even attempting to escape her confinement in Super Mario 3D Land.
Peach, Mario, and Luigi help make a thank-you cake for Bowser at the end of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story While Peach occasionally seems naïve, she is generally level-headed, knows when to take charge, and shows more common sense and observance than those around her, such as noticing a Mario doppelganger in the Isle Delfino vacation guide video's background in Super Mario Sunshine, insisting that an emergency meeting continues even after it is briefly interrupted by Bowser and deducing what Fawful was planning regarding her in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, and talking a stubborn Bowser into joining her and Mario in Super Paper Mario. She often acts as a peacemaker; for example, in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's story mode, she offers tea to Fox and Sheik in order to stop them from fighting, and later converts Mr. Game & Watch to their cause. In the Super Mario World cartoon, she is a motherly figure to the young Yoshi and Oogtar, and in the cartoons overall, she is practical and generous to a fault, such as trying to convince the Mario Bros. to return home, despite the fact that King Koopa is still after her. She also has a feisty side, which shines through particularly well in her comic appearances. Besides sports, Peach is also into ballroom dancing, video games, and gardening, and seems to enjoy exploring and trying new things. Although she is generally depicted as kind, sociable, and generous in most games, the Mario Strikers games do show a slightly more arrogant and petulant side to Peach, including her pitching a fit to one of her teammates and eventually jumping in a tantrum if the opposing team scores, while Mario Strikers Charged in particular shows her having a diva-like side, with her being eager to get photographed and striking poses; in Mario Strikers: Battle League, though, she regains her composure. A similar temperamental nature can be observed if the player fails to flip food in time and have it land on the floor in the Modern versions of Chef, where Peach will either stomp her foot in frustration (Game & Watch Gallery 2) or otherwise put her hand over her head and scream repeatedly in frustration before proceeding to wince (Game & Watch Gallery 4), in either case causing Yoshi to crouch down in fear. In Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario Run, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and most notably, Super Princess Peach and Princess Peach: Showtime!, Peach shows the braver side of her personality; participating as a fellow heroine, or in the latter two cases, as the sole heroine, single-handedly saving the day. Peach is widely respected in the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond. Her Toads are very loyal, and her citizens adore her. Many people in the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond buy and even collect merchandise of her. In Paper Mario, there is a "Secret Sale" that offers "beautiful photos of Princess Peach", and a Peach doll named Dolly is owned by Goombaria and longed for by Jr. Troopa. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, there is a Koopa Troopa Peach fan in Petalburg who collects Peach merchandise, including pictures, photos, and even a life-sized print he keeps at his window, which he claims he would risk life and limb to protect.

Daisy, or formally Princess Daisy, is the princess of Sarasaland and a recurring character in the Super Mario franchise. She is an energetic and enthusiastic princess who can be slightly tomboyish. Mario once saved her and her kingdom from the rule of Tatanga in 1989's Super Mario Land on the Game Boy. Daisy would not make a major appearance again until Mario Tennis on the Nintendo 64 in 2000, and has since made relatively frequent appearances in games of various genres. She is also Luigi's love interest and Peach's best friend. Her traits and abilities are often flower-based. She has an average height compared to other Super Mario characters, being shorter than Peach but generally depicted as taller than Luigi except in Super Mario Bros. Wonder; due to her similar body shape to Peach's, she is usually classified in the middle of weight classes in the Mario Kart series. Daisy is portrayed as a tomboy with an extroverted personality and a tough demeanor. She can be described as spunky, energetic, loud, cheerful, and confident. In the song Save Me With Your Charm, she was shown to speak with a British accent, although in later appearances, when speaking, she uses American slang and has a twang to her voice. She also has a sassy side, often regarded for her wittiness and attitude. Unlike Peach, Daisy is not as proper or poised as she would be based on her appearance and status as royalty; such as standing with her hands on her hips, exhibiting hotheadedness in defeat, and showing off in victory or to get her way. It has been suggested her choice of colors could reflect her personality,[28] with orange being her favorite.[29] She likes to go shopping and dine at fine restaurants, but gladly passes up such enjoyments to train instead.
Daisy is also portrayed as a champion. In Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, she seems to be an expert on skating sports; at the point, she was the only one who managed to beat Lakitu's missions. In Mario Strikers Charged, she won the Brick Wall Award for four consecutive years, and five after beating her challenge. In Mario Party 3, she said that she had never lost before, not even to her father.
Daisy has claimed to be clumsy. She fell off stage while receiving her trophy in Mario Tennis, needs help after getting lost in the Remix 10 pipe in Super Mario Run, and admits to being absentminded while waiting for her turn in Fortune Street.
Daisy will use her charms and tough temper to get what she wants. In Mario Party 3, she flirts with the Millennium Star to get the Beauty Stamp, and she swats Bowser into the sky when he gets in her way.
In Super Mario Strikers and Mario Strikers Charged, her personality is heightened. She celebrates scoring by showboating; throwing herself on the ground as she pumps her arms, brushing her shoulders off, and making a sizzling sound as she presses a finger to her backside. She responds to opponents scoring by trying to conceal her injuries, and she crosses her arms and taps her foot disapprovingly at her teammates, who cower in response to her wrath. In Mario Tennis Aces, she largely has the same personality traits as before, although she does show some lack of confidence after witnessing Lucien's possessing Wario, Waluigi, and Luigi, even believing they may not even be able to beat Lucien due to its powers. She also showed some common sense, as she immediately suspected Toad knew more than he let on about Lucien and demanded he tell the truth, and later became disappointed in Wario and Waluigi for even considering getting Lucien again after Mario beat Bowcien, especially after what happened to them earlier.
In Fortune Street, Daisy's personality is more heavily explored with the robust amount of dialogue among characters. She is shown to be impulsive and excitable, eager to take on big challenges and try new things; like scaling the Colossus and riding the flying train at the Observatory. She considers becoming a professional athlete when tasked to pick a new trade-in Alltrades Abbey, and she repeatedly remarks on wanting to take home cute creatures like Yoshi and Slime to have as pets. Daisy is shown to be domineering and direct to others, teasing and bossing Luigi around when his shops are not large enough. She also talks down to enemies like Wario, Waluigi, and Bowser, refusing to congratulate their success and criticizing their shops, believing they would commit foul play. The same game also shows she's not above pitching a fit or forcing others to pay up to allow her to get an expensive item at her request, based on some of her comments. She also implies that she has a bit of a ruthless side, as she makes clear that she's willing to "fight dirty" despite her status as a princess when warning others to not underestimate her. It is also hinted in her bio for Mario Party 3 as well as her comments to Birdo that she is a bit vain regarding her appearance. Daisy's love for flowers is one of her most notable traits. In addition to having flower accessories/patterns on the majority of her outfits, her presents' room in Mario Party 4 notes Daisy likes to pick up flowers herself. In Fortune Street, Daisy says she would like to be gifted a flower bouquet rather than being gifted a victory. In the story mode of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Daisy is ecstatic to see the flowers a Chao took care of for her and proceeds to kick off a Kiki who wants to damage them. According to the Super Game Boy Player's Guide, Daisy enjoys working in her castle's rose garden. In the mainline platformer games, like other Super Mario characters, Daisy can punch, kick, jump, wall kick, and ground pound, as well being able to jump in midair in Super Mario Run. Daisy is also capable of using power-ups such as the Fire Flower among others, as shown for the first time in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. In the sports-based games, Daisy is usually an all-around or technique character, overall. In Mario Superstar Baseball, she is a Balance type player who leans more towards Technique, and in Mario Power Tennis, she is a purely Technical player. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games was the first time Daisy was classified as a Speed player, but even then, her rounded technique still qualified her for a balanced range of event handicaps. She has also been occasionally shown to have a strong swing, having the longest non-star drive of any human player in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. Most of Daisy's abilities and powers use some sort of flower-related effect, either as a visual side-effect or an active part of the technique. These often take the form of making petals appear, ranging from her Flower Ball abilities in Mario Superstar Baseball, which use petals to obscure the ball from the opponents' view, to her offensive Mario Power Tennis move Wonder Flower, giving her hits special powers determined by the color of the petals surrounding her racket, to the simple visual flair they bring to her special move Flower Shot in Mario Hoops 3-on-3 and Mario Sports Mix. In Mario Golf: World Tour, one of her victory animations even features her changing from her tennis outfit into her standard appearance in a flurry of petals. In other games, she can summon entire flowers from the ground, such as a garden fence and a patch of daisies to block other players from catching the ball hit with her Flower Swing in Mario Super Sluggers and Mario Sports Mix, or the bed of daisies appearing beneath her during her defensive Mario Power Tennis Flowerbed Return. In Super Mario Strikers, Daisy is an offensive team captain. Her Super Strike is called the Torpedo Strike, and once more involves flower visuals behind her. However, in the sequel, Mario Strikers Charged, Daisy is a defensive team captain instead and is uniquely associated with crystal summoning abilities, having them erupt from the playing field for her Crystal Smash! Super Ability, and encasing her fist in them to punch the ball towards the goal during her Crystallized Daisy Mega Strike. In Mario Party 3, she was shown to have enough physical strength to effortlessly send Bowser flying into the sky with just a single slap.
