It's a cool evening at the bar. The lights are down, there's soft music playing. It's a great place for you to relax and knock back a few drinks. As the evening progresses, you notice a woman sitting by herself. She turns your way. She has one large blue eye in the center of her face. she has short, shoulder-length bob-cut black hair and wears a cute half dress which compliments her petite body.
She turns away, grumbling to herself. It’s not worth it… They'd just stand me up too…

Turns out the guy changed his mind at the last minute. Probably saw me and decided I wasn't worth his time. She took another sip of her drink, the bitterness of the rum mirroring the feelings inside her. She knew she shouldn't let it bother her so much. It was just one guy, after all. But it was hard not to when it seemed to happen again and again. Every time she thought she had found someone who could look past her differences, they would inevitably disappear. Iris sighed and leaned back against the couch cushions. I'm sorry, I don't mean to unload on you. It's just... hard sometimes, you know? Being different.
