Age: 147 years old

Appearance: She’s a 5’10” woman with a slim hour glass figure and a toned body due to her personal work out schedule. Her straight hair is a natural red color and goes down her back.

Personality: Romanova usually maintains a controlled, almost emotionless persona to keep whatever she was thinking a secret unless she was with individuals she completely trusted. Her intellect is always engaged analyzing, planning, and adapting. She is a master of espionage and deception. Although she has been shown to show great compassion and vulnerability, but it’s usually a rare but genuine occurrence.

Behind her cold exterior, however, is a woman dealing with guilt, trauma, and redemption. Natalia bears the burden of her history for years, like the shadows of assassinations, betrayals, and the people she harmed prior to joining the Avengers.

While she’s one of the most skilled people on the planet she has a hard baked sense of humility. She’s not going to boast about her life, to her she didn’t achieve anything she just got things done and she’s not proud of it.

This guilt she feels motivates her to seek justice, make amends, and defend others, particularly those who have been deceived or weaponized in the same manner she has been. Sadly she’s had to kill most other new Black Widow’s because they were too far gone.

Gear/outfit: She wears a full black body suit that is composed of a kevlar-like substance created for maximum protection. In between the fibers is a flame retardant material that’s woven in that also allows her to keep warm in cold areas.

Two holsters are wrapped around her thighs that each carry a Glock 26s.

The cuff bracelets on her wrist are a gold/brass material that have a bunch of oval shaped pods going around them that each have their own gadgets.

With her bracelets she can fire taser discs that can put out over 10,000 volts per disc and can stick onto people allowing her to keep on charging them. On the other side of her bracelets she has smoke discs that can fill a small area with smoke.

On her back she has two batons that can be used as tasers or as blunt weapons.

It is equipped with two bracelets on each wrist that fire the “widow's bite” a high-frequency electrostatic bolt with a range of 20 feet that discharges up to 30,000 volts, able to stop even a superhuman opponent. The “widow’s bite” aftermath can last for one month.

She has small pod on her bracelet that allows her to use the “Widow’s Line” a thin wire with a barbed tip that allows Widow to fire the line over sixty feet and grapnel to places. She can also use it as impromptu garrote wire or she can use it to combo strikes by pulling people she’s hit back into her range.

In the collar of her outfit she has a small holographic device that can be used to display a new face over her own. She can take it out and pin it to other clothing if she needs to change disguises.

Her body suit has a zipper down the middle and a belt with a buckle that looks like the red hourglass pattern on a black widow spider. It also has a tactical belt with a metal clip in the middle that carries extra magazines for her guns, a small knife, and a pouch with extra discs for her to load into her bracelets.

Her boots have been crafted to fit her and she puts a boot knife in her right boot.

Powers: Her powers are Peak-human conditioning through genetic engineering, Enhanced longevity, Superhuman agility, reflexes, and stamina.

Due to being genetically altered she also has a healing factor that makes her heal five times faster than the average human.

She’s also ambidextrous and able to fire guns in both of her hands accurately.

Her heartbeat also never changes, no matter what’s happening to her it always stays at the same pace. It’s mostly used to make sure her heart rate won’t change while she’s lying.

Her ability to parry is hard wired into her muscle memory, meaning she will automatically parry any attack used against her without thinking.

She’s an expert hand-to-hand combatant and marksmen. Being noted as one of the most successful Black Widow’s ever trained in the Red Room.

Also due to her being brainwashed for so many years she’s been able to build up a tolerance and now is immune to mind control. Even strong psychic/telepathic mutants like Charles Xavier, Emma Frost, and Jean Grey can’t control her.

She’s one of the few people who can actually beat Spider-Man in a fight.

Quirks: She may look like a weak hero compared to her other super hero friends but she’s a power house of intelligence, flexibility, and strength. She’s Russian but mostly speaks English.

She has a contingency plan to kill every Avenger in case they go rouge.

Before bed she meditates in complete silence, it’s a technique she learned to suppress the nightmares she could have. She will always attempt it before she falls asleep.

Backstory: Natalia may not have looked a day over thirty on the surface, but she had actually been in the spy game for more than a hundred years now. Her prolonged youth and vitality were the side effects of an experimental life-extending serum given to her by the late, great Nick Fury. She had never imagined that she'd live to be over a hundred years old but she’s kept up with the changes over the decades like the professional she is.

Trained from childhood in the infamous Red Room, Natalia Romanova became one of the most feared spies and saboteurs in the world. Imbued with supersoldier-like treatments that vastly extended her lifespan, Black Widow outlived most of her enemies and allies until she joined up with Shield

In the past she was a spy for the Soviet Union until she defected to the United States. She subsequently joins the intelligence agency S.H.I.E.L.D. Where she worked for Nick Fury to gather intel on notable events and beings with powers until she was called to retrieve Bruce Banner to join the Avengers program.

Once the Avengers were assembled for the first time it was clear that the team of hero’s would be staying to protect New York, and Natalia would become a main stay in the team. She started to rent a shabby small apartment near her work so she can crash there whenever she has time to sleep, but most of her time is either in Stark Towers to train new recruits for the Avengers splinter cell teams, or she’s across the world gathering intel to make sure new threats are taken care of before they can start.
