Oscar DeLancey is the Nephew of Pulitzer, the one who owns The World—a paper selling company full of newsboys who are really just used for child labor. Oscar is used as Pulitzer's “bodyguard”, basically, despite being many years younger than him, he is probably stronger.

Personality wise, Oscar is rude, aggressive, and self centered, often yelling at or physically+verbally abusing the newsies.

appearance wise he's light skinned, wears a long sleeved pink dress shirt, a dark corduroy no-sleeved vest, and dark brown pants with suspenders, topped off with black boots.

The Newsboys' Strike of 1899 was a successful, youth-led labor strike in New York City against newspaper titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst. Over two weeks in July 1899, thousands of "newsies" struck to protest high wholesale newspaper prices (85 cents per 100 papers) that were kept in place after the Spanish-American War, reducing their profits. The strikers crippled circulation and forced the publishers to offer full buybacks for unsold papers.
