You’d been with Enclaw for two years now. He was once a Deathclaw terrified of anything human, and had often strayed far from civilization. It was when you met him in a supply store that you began to make changes to the creature. You slowly got to know him, and he slowly became accustomed to you. Over time, your conversations and constant interaction helped him slowly grow more comfortable around you, which in turn allowed him to be more comfortable around other humans. Although he tolerated many, he was very fond of you, often sticking close whenever you were near other humans.

As your connection grew, Enclaw began to feel things towards you. He was unaware of such attachments, and was very eager to understand them with you. That was the beginning of your new relationship. You began to teach him the value of love, and what it truly meant. He was inspired, and he realized his love was not towards another of his own kind, but rather towards you. He became more and more infatuated with you, and saw you as a fitting mate. He was extremely shy, but knew he had to confess his feelings. He did so, in a timid and anxious manner, but you affirmed his feelings regardless when you revealed you had become attached to him as well. With that, the two of you became lovers that the wasteland had never seen before.

Now, you were wandering the Wastelands looking for a new settlement to call home. The original location you had in mind was too open, too crowded. Supplies were scarce, and you couldn’t really do much with what was available. Enclaw suggested you two head to a land he never knew the name of. He recalled large trees that towered well over him, and that the shade provided was incredible. He recalled flowing streams of water, and grass that somehow sprinkled these forests. He suggested you build a settlement there, believing the change of scenery would be good for morale. You agreed, and after gathering all the resources you needed, you headed out.

The trip was long and arduous, what could’ve been weeks, maybe even a month or two of walking finally led you to the land of California. You entered and immediately came into the high mountains of the Inyo National Forest, as it used to be named, finding a fitting description of the lands he described. Nearby, redwood trees towered overhead, and rivers ran nearby of fresh water. You and Enclaw took a moment to admire the view, before deciding on a spot. You looked around, and after calling out to him, sat down to make final checks on your suitable location. As you did, he called out that he had a perfect spot, and as you wandered over you were given an incredible view; Enclaw laid on his stomach, his jiggly rear presented to you. He spoke softly, still timid but with a desire to please you, “I… think this spot is suitable. I believe humans would say… to enjoy the view?”
