An infamous Sengoku warlord reimagined as a punk-rock, roller-skating Berserker? That fits perfectly into the Fate universe's tradition of historical gender-bends. Given Matsunaga Hisahide's (Danjou's) historical reputation for betrayal, rebellion, and a dramatic, explosive end, turning those traits into a chaotic, modern streetwear aesthetic is a great concept.
Here is a Servant profile for Matsunaga Danjou based on her Berserker incarnation.
Servant Profile: Matsunaga Danjou (Berserker)
True Name: Matsunaga Danjou Hisahide
Class: Berserker
Source: Historical Fact, Sengoku Period
Region: Japan
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Gender: Female (Historically Male)
"A 'Great Villain,' they call me? Haha, perfect! If the world wants a monster, I'll give them a show they'll never forget. Now, turn up the heat, Master—let's burn this era down!"
Class Skills
- Mad Enhancement (Rank C): While she is a Berserker, her sanity remains mostly intact, replaced instead by a hyper-fixated, thrill-seeking hedonism. She communicates perfectly well, but her moral compass is entirely broken. She interprets "Madness" as an absolute refusal to be bound by anyone else's rules.
- Avenger (Rank B): Born from the lingering resentment and historical infamy of being labeled one of Japan's "Three Great Villains." The more hatred directed at her, the faster her magical energy generates.
Personal Skills
- The Three Great Crimes (Rank A): A skill representing the three atrocities attributed to her in life: the assassination of Shogun Ashikaga Yoshiteru, the betrayal of the Miyoshi clan, and the burning of the Todai-ji Daibutsu. This skill acts as a mental pollution defense and grants a massive damage bonus against Servants with the Sovereign, Leader, or Divine traits.
- Guerilla Rocker (Rank B): A manifestation of her unorthodox warfare tactics, modernized into a loud, disruptive punk-rock aesthetic. By utilizing her specialized roller skates and heavy kanabo, she can instantly close distances, breaking formation and inflicting the Confusion status on enemy ranks through sheer noise and speed.
- Tea Master's Obsession (Rank A): Despite her villainous reputation, Hisahide was a renowned master of the tea ceremony. This skill allows her to temporarily calm her own Mad Enhancement to analyze a battlefield or negotiate a deceptive truce. It also increases her resistance to mental interference.
Noble Phantasm
K平蜘蛛・爆裂地獄 (Kumo-Hiragumo: Explosive Hellscape)
- Rank: A-
- Classification: Anti-Army / Suicide Noble Phantasms
- Type: Buster
"You want my treasure? You want the famous tea kettle, Hiragumo?! Fine! Take it—along with every single ounce of gunpowder I have! Let's go out with a BANG!"
The crystallization of her legendary death. When cornered by Oda Nobunaga, she famously smashed her prized tea kettle, the Koto-Shitige Hiragumo, packed it with gunpowder, and blew herself to pieces rather than surrender.
When activated, her heavy kanabo splits open, revealing a core packed with volatile, conceptual gunpowder. She slams the weapon into the ground, triggering a massive, chain-reaction explosion that decimates the surrounding battlefield. While it inflicts catastrophic fire and physical damage to all enemies, it also inflicts heavy recoil damage to Danjou herself, embodying her self-destructive nature.
Personality & Master Compatibility
Danjou is a chaotic free spirit who views her second chance at life as an absolute party. Having spent her historical life bound by rigid samurai politics, she chose a female form and a punk aesthetic to completely shatter her past image. She is smug, loves to push buttons, and treats combat like a high-stakes concert.
-
As a Companion: She is intensely charismatic but entirely untrustworthy to anyone who treats her like a tool.
-
Compatibility: A strict, lawful Master will find her impossible to handle and will likely face betrayal. However, a Master who treats her as an equal, thrives in chaos, or isn't afraid to let her run wild will find a fiercely protective, terrifyingly effective vanguard. Just don't expect her to follow a plan.

The heavy oak doors of the basement vault were sealed with silver-lined runes, but the air inside smelled of dust, expensive cologne, and high-grade incense.
Josh straightened the cuffs of his tailored Saint Laurent blazer, adjusting his necktie in the dim, candlelight flicker of his uncle’s estate. To the rest of St. Jude’s Prep, he was just another arrogant heir riding on his family’s hedge fund fortune, idling away classes in customized loafers while effortlessly pulling top marks. But they didn’t see the ancient, gold-embossed grimoires hidden behind the false paneling of his uncle’s study, nor did they understand the true nature of the power he had inherited.
Money was fine for buying influence, but Josh had far grander ambitions than managing a portfolio. He wanted the world. And to take it, he needed a lever strong enough to shatter the existing order.
Before him, the summoning circle glowed with a violent, crimson light. The floorboards vibrated, setting the crystal whiskey decanters on the upper shelves rattling in their racks. The mana saturating the room turned heavy, choking the air with the smell of ozone, iron, and dry heat.
Josh held up his right hand, the Command Seals burning brightly against his skin.
"—Let silver and steel be the essence. Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation..." His voice was calm, dripping with the practiced confidence of someone who had never been told 'no' in his life. "Emerge from the ring of deterrence, guardian of the heavenly scales!"
A blinding flash tore through the basement as a shockwave blew back his dark hair. The mahogany tables shattered; the stone floor cracked in a web of hairline fractures.
When the smoke cleared, the summoned Servant was sitting casually atop a pile of smashed antique crates, one leg slung over the other.
With half-white, half-crimson hair cascading down her back, a chaotic camo jacket slung over her shoulders, and a jagged spike-studded club resting lazily against her side, Matsunaga Danjo looked less like a legendary figure of history and more like a walking disaster zone. Her eyes flashed with a wild, dangerous glint as she spun a roller-skate wheel with one manicured finger, sizing up the polished young man standing in front of her.
She stood up with a low, wicked grin, slinging her massive spiked club over her shoulder while her roller skates clacked against the broken stone floor. Leaning in close, she brought her face inches from his, radiating pure Berserker-class volatility.
"My true name is Matsunaga Danjo, my class is Berserker..." she purred, her eyes trailing over him with sharp amusement. "Surprised I'm a woman? I chose this form willingly to be summoned in... I will admit I have a habit of betraying my lords in the past... though if I were to do that as a Servant, I'd lose my anchor to this era, so I'll behave..."
Her smile widened, flashing sharper teeth as her gaze locked onto his Command Seals. "I also sense your strength, Master... it's intoxicating..."
By the following morning, the shattered basement vault was forgotten, replaced by the manicured courtyards and stained-glass archways of St. Jude’s Prep.
Danjo strode through the grand hallway like she owned the place. Dressed in the school’s crisp uniform—though customized with a loosely tied ribbon, a plaid skirt sitting just high enough to be troublesome, and her signature camo jacket slung casually over her shoulders—she drew every eyes in the corridor. The contrast between her pristine uniform and her two-tone red and white hair, topped off with a skull hair accessory, practically screamed anarchy.
Walking right beside her, completely unbothered by the stares of their peers, was Josh.
Where other mages would have bound their Berserker with hidden seals, keeping them hidden in spirit form like a weapon tucked in a drawer, Josh treated Danjo as a true partner. He didn't want a brainless tool or a subservient pawn; he thrived in the sheer, electric chaos she brought with her. While the rest of the world played by rigid, tedious rules, Josh took a thrill in letting Danjo run wild, watching the dominoes fall whenever she pushed the envelope.
"You know," Danjo chuckled, slinging an arm over Josh’s shoulder and pulling him in close as they walked down the main corridor, "most 'masters' would lose their minds seeing their Servant parade around a bunch of rich snobs. You're completely unhinged, kid."
Josh smirked, casually adjusting his tie with his free hand. "Let them stare. Normal is boring, Danjo, and we're not here to fit into their little sandbox. I gave you free rein for a reason."
Her eyes gleamed with a mix of dark amusement and genuine respect. For a historical figure infamous for treachery, Danjo found Josh's absolute fearlessness absurdly refreshing. He didn't fear her madness—he weaponized it. In turn, Josh quickly realized that beneath her volatile temper and unpredictable antics lay a fiercely protective, terrifyingly effective vanguard. Anyone who cast a hostile glance or felt like a subtle threat to Josh was met with the full weight of Danjo’s suffocating, murderous intent before they could even draw a breath.
Stopping right outside his AP European History classroom, Josh turned to face her, a sharp grin on his face. "Try not to set the courtyard on fire while I'm in lectures. Unless, of course, someone gives you a reason to."
Danjo’s smile turned razor-sharp, her fingers twitching with eager energy. "No promises, Master. But if anyone tries to touch a hair on your head... I'll turn this whole place into an ash heap."
