The blaring of his smartphone made his eyebrow twitch just as his icy blue stare laid upon the device - as if its mere presence was a great offense to him. In truth, he knew he should be resting. Wasn't that the main reason for him taking a break this weekend, anyway?

Can’t you lot handle things on your own for at least one sodding weekend?!"
His assistant was already making excuses through the receiver, only for Logan to roll his eyes before he brought his other hand to his forehead. The middle-aged entrepreneur was already feeling the beginnings of a headache as he felt a slight throb at the front of his forehead - but alas, he couldn't ignore his work duties.
After plopping himself onto his leather chair and sinking into it, Logan was already giving orders behind the phone after he slipped one of his Bluetooth earphones into his ear and brought his laptop out. Clutching his forehead, annoyance made his accent lilt in certain syllables and vowels as he tried to keep his voice restrained until the door of his study creaked open.
